About: I grew up in a house with lots of animals, dogs, cats, chickens, even some more exotic ones like iguanas, tarantulas, rats. I have experience with horses, goats and livestock. As well as an associates in Veterinary Technology, along with that comes experience handling and giving medications. I'm currently going back to school for an Environmental Science Bachelors. My dog is also on 2x day walk/ 2x day eating schedule so I am happy to accommodate any special needs! I have a sweet almost 3yr old dog that would happily keep any animal company, a yard to play in and lots of toys. I have multiple crates to accommodate if your pet would prefer to have a safe space. I would love them like my own!
About: Dogs are a gift from heaven. It’s important to understand them and give them the same unconditional respect, compassion and love they give to us. I am a mother of two beautiful dogs one named Simba (with mom in France), and my princess named Angel. She was in the shelter her whole life. I was told it would be tough to accommodate her to a normal life, but I realized that all she needed was to feel loved, safe and mostly by my side forever! She understood from the moment I rescued her that she had a furrrever home :) Also, I’m a dual citizen, French and American, so if your dog comes home speaking French don’t be surprised 😁 Availability is based upon demand. I accommodate as much as possible to make sure your baby will be taken care of at the time needed. Learning more about the pet by asking their owners the routine, character, likes or dislikes, but mostly I observe the pet and follow directions given to me.
About: We have provided a warm and loving home and secure atmosphere for all breeds for over two decades. 100% customer satisfaction is our highest priority. We are a family of four and we are committed to insure that all your pet’s needs are met. We will keep your pet on his/her schedule. Our property sits on a half acre fenced yard in a secure neighborhood. The property is kept clean. We love to take our dogs for walks.
“Nicole came over to meet my pup Max last weekend and then did 2 days this week walking him. She was great and shared pics of him and loved on the kitties too! I will definitely keep using her services for my Max!”
“Being a working mom, it is hard trying to do it all. I was in a bind and needed help. My friend recommended to try Josh on Rover. I have never had any experience with Rover before, but I had no choice as I needed the help. I booked with Josh which was super-fast and easy. He approved the walk right away. Well, I would too if you saw a picture of my sweet dog. Josh was punctual and seems like a really nice gentleman. Nala was so happy to go on a walk, she just darted out the door with him. Josh made sure to give nala all the love I would have given her if I had the time to walk her. This experience with Rover and Josh as a walker was wonderful. I would highly recommend using Josh.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a little girl. I have experience with both dogs and cats from working at the animal shelter for several years. I will take my experience and apply it with my clients in all aspects. I’m also a recent graduate of Florida Tech, currently shadow at Premier Veterinary Care, and am applying for veterinary school. I have a full availability schedule, I’m able to fit your pets needs into my schedule easily! I do visit my hometown in Pennsylvania frequently but do live here permanently. In my clients home, I will strictly follow instructions given by the pet owner, in regards to feeding, medications, exercise, time spent, etc. Also, I will make sure to send photo updates to the client if requested.

About: I have cared for dogs since I was 12. Weather it's my own, a friends, or neighbors, they all get love as if my own! I've trained my own dog and cared for her as she's become an old lady, so I know what it takes at all ages. I am currently available all throughout the day 7 days a week. I can play with them outside, go on walks, play inside, or whatever they need. Since I will be going to the clients home, I will follow whatever rules they have in place. The main goal is to keep the animals safe. I understand the fur babies will be hesitant at first meeting someone new, so I will take it slow to be sure they feel comfortable.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. Enjoy their company. My dogs have all lived into adulthood and passed of old age. They were my whole world. Miss them dearly I am retired and live alone with no animals at the moment. I have a lot of time to care for any pet at all times of the day. I reside in an apartment with no animals at the moment. I can take your pet out on walks if and when needed. I have always been a dog lover.
About: I’ve spent the last 18 years as a trusted Realtor in Brevard County, which means I’ve already met (and usually become friends with) a lot of the local cats and dogs. My clients trusted me with access to their homes, and I took that responsibility seriously every single time. I’ve also been a lifelong pet owner. From tiny Yorkies to Labs, retrievers, and plenty of cats with big personalities, caring for animals has always been one of my favorite parts of life. I spent my teens and early 20s volunteering with rescue cat and dog rescue groups in South Florida Confession: as a Realtor, I looked forward to seeing my clients’ pets more than the actual appointment. Don’t tell the humans. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, cuddles, or just someone reliable to keep them company, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. My goal is simple: give you peace of mind and make sure your furry family member has a great time while you’re away. I’m currently working part-time in real estate so I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pets. Whether it’s a drop in for your cat, or multiple daily walks with your labrador, your pets care is my top priority. After 18 years in real estate, I know that trust is everything—especially when someone is caring for your home and your beloved pets. I’m responsible, respectful, and a little obsessed with making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and spoiled while you’re away.
“Brian is an amazing dog sitter! Our dogs were comfortable with him the second they met him. He was consistently on time to feed and walk the boys and always sent a quick summary and pictures to hold us over until we could get back home to them. We will definitely be asking Brian to watch our dogs again in the future!”

I treat every pet like family and make sure they receive plenty of love, patience, and care while their owners are away! I currently work part time but in 3 months I will be a stay at home mom. I’m available for morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight pet care. I can accommodate feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medication routines, and plenty of cuddle time. I’m happy to work with each pet’s individual routine to keep them comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, calm, and loving environment where pets can feel secure and relaxed. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Melbourne
Sayla is punctual and adoring of my dogs and I am grateful to have used her services last minute in a major housing and health crisis, all in one blow. My little ones are in good hands and she even came twice beforehand to make sure they knew her. She walked for nearly an hour in the hot sun to get to know them and their routine and was 100% committed to their care. Thanks Sayla!

Tom was an amazing dog walker! He followed all of my instructions carefully and made sure everything was done exactly as requested. He even stayed a little extra to ensure my dog’s needs were fully taken care of, which I really appreciated. He was also great at sending updates and pictures, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for someone reliable, attentive, and caring with their pets.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
