About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a little girl. I have experience with both dogs and cats from working at the animal shelter for several years. I will take my experience and apply it with my clients in all aspects. I’m also a recent graduate of Florida Tech, currently shadow at Premier Veterinary Care, and am applying for veterinary school. I have a full availability schedule, I’m able to fit your pets needs into my schedule easily! I do visit my hometown in Pennsylvania frequently but do live here permanently. In my clients home, I will strictly follow instructions given by the pet owner, in regards to feeding, medications, exercise, time spent, etc. Also, I will make sure to send photo updates to the client if requested.

About: I now have 1 doggie of my own whom I share with my husband, she is a blue healer who loves to play, get pets constantly and also relax. We just recently lost our boy, he was 16 and lived a great life! I have been around pets my whole life so taking care of your pet/pets should be a synch 😁. I do have a bit of experience with senior care, I can give meds if needed, but I am not familiar with giving shots if needed. We did train our dogs with a few tricks as well if that is something you are working on. I work from home and I have a very flexivle schedule, so I have some free time for a little side job, why not make it pet sitting/walking/feeding. I take care of my pet like you would take care of yours. She goes outside and plays, sometimes I sit outside or throw a ball or tug of war. Sometimes we just sit out there relaxing. We also just hang out inside and just snuggle or just lay around.

“We had a great introduction and walk. Our dog is afraid of new people, but with proper introduction (and the right treats) he warms up well. For this first walk we where present the whole time to make sure our dog’s comfort and confidence would open up. We wanted to find a Rover person who in future we could possibly board with. So we needed him to be happy and relaxed with the new Rover person. At first our dog was nervous and wary, which historically he usually is with new people. But after a bit time and space, yummy treats, and remaning a comfortable walking distance apart from Joshua, his curiousity grew enough where he was willing to approach. Josh got down to his level and which allowed our dog to approach Josh on his own will. When that moment happened we rewarded his curiousity with lots of praise and yummy treats. From then on we walked side by side with Joshua, and our dog warmed up enough where he was frequently looking back anticipating more pets and treats from Joshua during the walk. Joshua also asked us great questions about our dog and his history, to figure out how to best work with him. In the end our dog was so happy when Joshua said “good bye Stitch,” he actually did one last hop-skip towards Josh even though we were getting ready to go to our car the opposite direction away. We have much gratitude for the opportunity to work with Joshua to socialize him more. We are planning on booking in the future for some types of walks too and would be willing to board if needed.”

About: Animals have been a HUGE part of my life for over 10 years, both personally and professionally! My very first job was working at a doggy daycare before becoming a kennel technician at a veterinary clinic, where I gained a ton of experience caring for animals with all kinds of personalities and needs. Since then, I've done foster work within the Brevard community, taking in animals who needed a safe place to land. I have fostered 8 puppies (at once!), a few Great Danes, and most recently, our Black Lab, Bodie, who was initially a hospice foster due to his kidney disease, but after the rescue could not provide any more funding for his medical issues, we took matters into our own hands and he officially became a foster fail! Besides our most recent addition, Bodie, we have my first ever dog Kole who's now 8 years old, our 4-year-old Golden Retriever, Mac and two rescue cats, Abo and Rocky. But my love for animals goes far past just dogs and cats, I even had a Chinchilla and a Chinese Water Dragon! If there's one thing I understand, it's how hard it can be to trust someone with your animals. My pets mean the world to me, and I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for them. My schedule is currently very flexible while I complete coursework online, so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets!
