I stick to each pet’s normal routine—whether that’s specific meal times, walks, crate time, or medications—to help reduce stress and keep things familiar. I supervise all play, provide enrichment throughout the day (walks, toys, cuddles, or quiet time, depending on the pet), and give lots of love and attention. I also make sure the space is secure, clean, and free of hazards.
