Raelin was awesome and my dogs didn't even bark at her when they met, which is a great sign by itself! She was friendly and informative! They both enjoyed the walk and I enjoyed it because I didn't need to do it! Ha,ha... thanks Raelin!

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, including my fur baby that I raised since she was a puppy. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior cats, and all ages of dogs. I also used to volunteer at the Halo Rescue Cat Adoption Center when I first started pet sitting. I love all animals, including sea turtles! I am currently working as a non-profit sea turtle biologist and I am most available on weekends and select weekdays. Due to my flexible & partially remote schedule, I can take time throughout the day for potty breaks and walks. The key to effective pet care is constant supervision when pets are outside. This is where my experience as an environmental educator comes in as it has fine-tuned my ability to be constantly aware of my surroundings. Also, I am used to being a clear thinker in chaotic situations from my experience working with children.

About: I have experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, and I am also open to providing care for cats. I am happy to assist with any needs your pet may have. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important pets are to their families, and I will treat your pets with the same care, attention, and love that I give my own. I am currently a full time student working in public school. I leave around 7am and I get off at 2:00/2:30pm Monday-Friday. I am available to walk or do drop ins after 2:30pm. If I am house sitting/dropping in I may have to arrive/leave sooner depending on how far you are from me. On the weekends I work from 6:50am-11:30am and 1pm-5pm. I have three dogs at home so if you are looking to board you will need to bring your dog to my residence to make sure they can be around my dogs. Your dog has to be able to stay in a crate for 4-6 hours while I’m a work. My grandparents will give them a bathroom break in the afternoon. I will follow your schedule, including feeding times, walks, and any required medications. I am committed to giving your pets attentive care and plenty of affection.

About: I love being with dogs of every type and size. I have fostered several dogs and even adopted a few a long the way. I have had dogs apart of my life for as long as I have been around. I have help multiple times with a traveling dog show, especially with care for the dogs behind the scenes. I am an avid walker and would love to include your dogs in my daily walking routine. I am retired so I have plenty of time to tend to your pets. I generally walk between five and 10 miles a day so exercise is a big part of my daily practice. Would love to share it with your friendly pets. I have two of my own dogs. One is a rescue dog. At this time, I do not care to board dogs in my own home, but would be happy to take care of them in your home.

About: I've been caring for pets since middle school, starting with family friends and neighbors who trusted me to walk, play, and love their furry companions like my own. Over the years, I've had the joy of raising a Siberian Husky and a bunny, giving me hands-on experience with different needs and personalities. Whether it’s a playful pup, a sassy cat, or a gentle senior, I tailor my care to make each pet feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m especially comfortable with big dogs (bring on the huskies!) and have a soft spot for cats too. What sets me apart? It’s not just experience—it’s genuine love, patience, and energy. I treat every animal like my own. I’m currently working part time and have a lot of free time during the summer. I am just a text/call away and will be on my way over in minutes. Their comfort and safety always come first. I create a calm, pet-friendly environment where animals feel at ease—whether that means sticking to their usual routine, providing plenty of playtime, or just offering a quiet space for cuddles and rest. I take time to get to know each pet’s needs, from feeding schedules to favorite toys. In your home, I respect your space and follow any specific instructions to a T. I keep things clean, secure, and consistent to avoid stress, especially for pets who thrive on routine. I’m always alert, never distracted, and I treat each pet like they’re my own—because building trust with both you and your pet is the most important part of what I do.

I am very open and fluid with scheduling so please reach out! I love spending time with animals so getting your pet to be comfortable with me is a big priority. About: Greetings! My name is Monica and I look forward to learning all about you and your pets! First, a little about myself and the care I am qualified to provide. I have always had a unique desire and ability to take in and care for animals, but when I began working in rescue and brought my first heart-dog into my life, it grew into a true passion. He was a joy and one of the best companions I’ve ever had. We currently share our home with 2 dogs and a foster pup, and I bring an experienced and loving approach to every pet in my care. I have over 30 years of providing care and support for animals, mostly cats and dogs, but also pocket pets, exotics, pigs and birds, including chickens. I have been a foster volunteer, coordinator and board member for a national breed rescue for the last 20 years. In that time, I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds and temperaments from energetic pups to seniors fostering dozens of rescued dogs and cats, including pregnant moms, whelping litters of puppies and raising orphan bottle-baby kittens. I have extensive experience with special-needs and senior pets, including monitoring and treatment of acute and long-term medical conditions, recovery from injuries and surgical procedures, physical therapy, paralysis, specific dietary needs and preparation of homemade pet foods. I am qualified to administer medications, injections and sub-q fluids and assist animals during rehabilitation. I’ve also worked as a dog trainer focusing on behavior modification and basic obedience training and greatly enjoy helping dogs learn and develop at their own pace. I maintain a close relationship with several of our local veterinarians and trainers with a network of professional resources. I look forward to sharing time with your pets! I have a flexible schedule and strive to accommodate the individual needs of each pet and family, including visits for walks and playtime and overnight sitting in your home. I have the ability to work with a variety of care needs, and prioritize the safety, well-being and happiness of beloved animals and their humans above all else. I also carry pet care insurance for clients’ trust and assurance partnering together with their beloved fur-families.

About: Hi! I’m Sophie (: I have experience with all ages of dogs from puppy to senior. I enjoy spending quality time with them, going on walks, playing, or even just cuddling. Dogs are family, and I care for yours with the same love and attention I would give my own. I know communication is crucial, so I’ll keep you updated throughout their time with me to make sure you always feel connected and at peace. My work day is usually 5:45am-noon, though some days I’m off as early as 9 or as late as 1- it all depends on the turtle activity from the night before. I am happy to communicate with you day by day to keep you updated. I do not have a space of my own currently- so I would have to come to you! I am more than happy to provide whatever service you and your pet need.

About: I'm a former professional dog walker and pet sitter now only doing freelance. I'm a long time animal lover who can't wait to get to know you and your pets, no matter what kind of animal! I've cared for animals for much of my life and I've been a volunteer at the Humane Society of Vero Beach, where I cared for and walked dogs and spent time with cats. I've had chickens, fish, rodents, big dogs, little dogs, a cat, and a gecko. I understand no two animals are the same and I'm willing to meet the needs of each individual pet and owner to ensure both animal and human are safe, comfortable, and happy. My availability is 12pm-6pm, but I can also do 11am-7pm. I can do any day, including holidays, but I have a more restricted schedule on Christmas Day. I'd stick strictly to your instructions, unless in cases of emergency. I would keep in contact and ask for permission before doing anything I am unsure of in your house and/or with your pet.

Derek did an amazing job with my 1 year old labradoodle. He ran with him—-the pup’s favorite next to a good snack. He was always on time. He helped my dad with some small tasks, too. Every morning my pup was eager and excitedly anticipating Derek’s arrival. You will be more than satisfied if you hire Derek.

About: My name is Kaylee! I live on a farm based in Fellsmere, I grew up all around different animals ranging from horses to turkeys!! I love all animals and take pride in making sure they are loved and properly taken care of, they are our babies of course!! I have currently have 6 dogs on my farm who are the happiest dogs you will ever meet, I’m also an owner of 1 house cat, 4 barn cats, 2 horses, 1 donkey, 2 turkeys and oh so many chickens!! So it’s safe to say I won’t be overwhelmed with your animals! Pet care will always find a way to fit into my schedule, I do work full time with my employer but I will always make it a priority to come home and feed, walk not only my animals but yours as well! Since we live on a farm all my animals are free range. I always let my dogs run freely outside when they need to go potty. I’m also a firm believer in playing with animals to get a good workout in and to also let some energy out. I don’t believe in letting dogs sit inside all day. If I wouldn’t like it neither would they!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
