About: We will be taking many walks, trips to the beach, and dog park! Frequent potty breaks, fresh water throughout the day, healthy snacks, and lots of ❤️. I am a school teacher, so I'm off for the summer. I have late afternoons, evenings, and weekends availability year round. Flexible and will sit from your home or ours. Pets will have free run of the house. Will be leashed when walked in the yard, beach, and on walks. Will be allowed off leash at enclosed dog park with permission of owner.
About: I have cared for pets for more than 18 yrs in both Fla and New England. Always willing to travel with you or to your home. I am able to schedule pet sits in advance as needed. Always reliable loving and caring and aware of pets needs. I love the pets. I offer care in your home as well as water plants etc. I will do whatever is asked of me to do for the pets and the families.
About: My wife and I have been pet sitting for several years. My clients have all become part of the family. I genuinely love being around animals, going for walks and spending time with animals. We were dog sitting previously in Canada while living there, we would be happy to provide you with additional references. We have the friendliest 7 year old Irish setter who absolutely loves being around people and dogs (He spends a lot of his time at Fred Popp dog park running in circles for an hour). He loves both large and small dogs and he does not seem to care if they are female or male. When pet sitting at your home, my dog will stay home with his other family members . We work from home so were always around. We love walking and being outdoors so your pet will get lots of exercise (I can track the pets walks on my phone and send updates and photos so you know your buddy is having a great time). We will always discuss the pets needs before caring for them as every pet is different and deserves the staycation that's best for them. We will discuss the pets' needs with the owner and come up with a plan that they are comfortable. (I'll do my best to stick to the same routine they have at home )
“Raelin was awesome and my dogs didn't even bark at her when they met, which is a great sign by itself! She was friendly and informative! They both enjoyed the walk and I enjoyed it because I didn't need to do it! Ha,ha... thanks Raelin!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals of all types, from domestic, to farm, to exotic and more since the day I was born. I have extensive experience in animal rescue, rehabilitation, and pet care from various settings, such as vet clinics, animal shelters, farm experience, and more! I am able to care for most types of exotics and all domestics. You can rest assured that while you are away, your fuzzy (or scaly) companions will be safe, happy, and enriched while in my care! You will recieve frequent and detailed updates, photos and videos! I am a free-lance artist who works from home, so I have flexible hours and can drop in as frequently as needed! If your pet is boarding with me, myself and/or my husband (an employee at the county animal shelter) will be home most, if not all hours of the day to keep your furry family company. When visiting a home, my first priority is to get eyes on all pets, especially cats, to make sure everyone is safe and healthy. Next on the list is to provide food, empty and refresh water, and clean litter boxes/take outside to potty. After everyone is fed, watered and had a chance to use the bathroom, I will play and socialize with your animal for 30 minutes to an hour,
About: I grew up in a house with lots of animals, dogs, cats, chickens, even some more exotic ones like iguanas, tarantulas, rats. I have experience with horses, goats and livestock. As well as an associates in Veterinary Technology, along with that comes experience handling and giving medications. I'm currently going back to school for an Environmental Science Bachelors. My dog is also on 2x day walk/ 2x day eating schedule so I am happy to accommodate any special needs! I have a sweet almost 3yr old dog that would happily keep any animal company, a yard to play in and lots of toys. I have multiple crates to accommodate if your pet would prefer to have a safe space. I would love them like my own!
About: In addition to caring for a small family dog my entire life, I previously worked as a veterinary assistant in a spay and neuter clinic which gave me valuable skills in caring for dogs (and cats) of all breeds and sizes. As part of my employment, I completed and was certified in Fearfree animal care. Additionally, I have both volunteered and worked as an aquarist and husbandry technician at wildlife rescues! I’m currently a nursing student (and missing my own dog who we lost last April) and would love to offer my love and experience to care for your animal! My schedule varies from week to week, so I keep my calendar updated. I can also schedule a few weeks in advance, so please reach out! I am more than happy to visit during the day to care for your animal. Depending on your needs, I can let them out, feed them, refill water dishes, and ensure their bedding is clean and fresh!
About: Sure, there are lots of pet sitters out there—but here’s what makes me the one your pet will never want to leave: Puppy Whisperer: Got a bouncy bundle of paws and energy? I’ve got the patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement techniques to help puppies learn basic manners, crate comfort, and potty routines. Every little win is celebrated with love (and maybe a treat or two)! Senior Pet Specialist: Older pets have a special place in my heart. I understand the slower pace, the medication schedules, the joint stiffness, and the need for extra TLC. From gentle walks to soft bedding and warm snuggles, I ensure your golden oldie feels safe, loved, and pampered. Home-Like Comfort: I’m not just a sitter—I provide a calm, clean, and cozy environment that feels like a home away from home. Whether your pet is shy, social, high-energy, or low-key, I tailor the experience to match their personality and needs. Daily Updates & Smiles Guaranteed: You’ll never have to wonder how your fur baby’s doing—I send regular updates with photos, videos, and the occasional funny story. You’ll see the love and fun in every tail wag and purr. Genuine Love + Professional Care: I take my role seriously, but I also LOVE what I do. I’m attentive, experienced, and fully invested in each pet’s happiness and well-being. From first sniff to final tail wag, your pet is treated like family. Bottom line? I don’t just watch pets—I bond with them, care for them, and give them an experience they’ll love. Whether you’ve got a wiggly pup, a wise senior, or a quirky furball in between—I’ve got the skills, heart, and home to make their stay safe, happy, and unforgettable. As a work-from-home professional and semi-retired empty nester, my life has found a fabulous new rhythm—part Zoom meetings, part freedom, and 100% paws-itively centered around my fur babies. Morning Zoomies & Zen: My day kicks off not with an alarm clock, but with a tail-wagging or whisker-nudging wake-up call. Coffee in one hand, leash in the other—these early AM pet rituals get me moving, clear my head, and set the tone for a productive day. Nothing like a brisk walk or snuggle session to kickstart the brain! Midday Snuggle & Stretch: While others take coffee breaks, I take pup breaks. Toss a ball, refill a water bowl, or have a quick snuggle—it's the ideal reset between tasks. And yes, I may or may not narrate your pet’s inner monologue for comic relief. (Spoiler: they’re always hilarious.) Evening Adventures: After a day of keyboard clicking and virtual brilliance, it’s time to unwind. Evening walks, backyard fetch, or simply lounging on the couch together—it’s our little “we survived another day” ritual. Bonus: no awkward small talk like at the gym. Weekly Spa Days & Supply Runs: One day a week, I can serve as a full-time pet concierge, taking your pets to grooming appointments, checking supplies, and scheduling vet appointments as needed. It keeps me grounded, keeps them healthy, and gives me an excuse to spoil them (as if I needed one). The Emotional ROI: Being an empty nester, pets fill my home with energy, joy, and just the right amount of chaos. They remind me to stay active, present, and most importantly, to stop and enjoy the treat now and then. Bottom line? Pet care isn’t a chore—it’s the heartbeat of my daily routine, keeping me balanced, loved, and on my toes (literally and figuratively). It’s like working with your best furry coworkers… who never judge your snack habits or meeting attire. When your fur baby stays with me, they’re not just getting care—they’re getting the royal treatment! From the moment they trot (or zoomie) through the door, they become part of the family. Whether they’re a couch cuddler, belly rub beggar, or a nonstop ball chaser, I meet them where they are—with love, patience, and play. Daily Tail-Wagging TLC Includes: Plenty of walks, playtime, and enrichment to keep those tails wagging and minds engaged Cozy nap zones and soft beds for full-on relaxation Fresh food and water served on schedule (with a dash of love) Treats (with your permission!) because every good boy or girl deserves a little yum Spoiled, Not Sorry: I’m talking extra cuddles, attention to their unique quirks, photo updates for you, and a whole lot of talking to them like they’re royalty (because… they are). Whether it’s belly rubs, soothing music during storms, or a lap to nap on, I go above and beyond to make them feel safe, secure, and super special. Bottom line? You can rest easy knowing your pet is in a loving, experienced home where they’ll be cared for just like you would—and yes, maybe a little extra spoiled too. 😉
About: I have experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, and I am also open to providing care for cats. I am happy to assist with any needs your pet may have. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important pets are to their families, and I will treat your pets with the same care, attention, and love that I give my own. I am a full time teacher. I get off at 2:00pm Monday-Friday. I am available to walk or do drop ins after 2pm. I leave my house around 8:20am for work. If I am house sitting/dropping in I may have to arrive/leave sooner depending on how far you are from me. I have three dogs at home, so unfortunately I am unable to provide in-home care at my residence. However, I am more than happy to stay at your home to provide care. I will strictly follow your schedule, including feeding times, walks, and any required medications. I am committed to giving your pets attentive care and plenty of affection.

“Olivia does a wonderful job with our little (50+ lb) sweet and strong red heeler mix. Daisy looks forward to her walks with Olivia so much, it’s not a stretch to say that they’ve become the highlight of her day. Highly recommend Olivia!!”

“Michelle is an absolute delight! Such a kind spirit and very flexible. Even from the first meeting it is obvious she loves what she does. She made our whole family (and mainly our little Vader) feel cared for and protected. We are grateful to have found her because we know when we are away, our doggy will be treated with the same love he gets at home. We will definitely be using her services again in the future. Thank you, Michelle and family, for your great care! ?”

About: I’ve dog sat since I was a teenager. Furry four legged babies are the best! Let me know if I can assist in any way. What I lack in reviews, I make up in fun and punctuality. I can offer open availability to help walk, feed, medicate or transport your furry loves. I’d love to chat and see if our schedules work out. I have a fenced yard and two friendly pups to play with. I love walks and would love to help your furry love. Let me entertain your baby!
About: I’m a calm and patient dog caregiver who loves seeing pups truly enjoy their walks. For me, it’s not just about walking—it’s about giving them the time to explore, sniff around, relax, and feel happy without any rush. 🐾 With me, your dog will have safe walks filled with peace, love, and care. ❤️ “I have a flexible job that allows me to dedicate time to caring for dogs. Going out for walks with them is not only a joy for them, but also a way for me to relax and enjoy the moment.” I carefully follow the owners’s instructions to make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I like to be aware of what the dog is doing.

“Shelby was great with walking both of my dogs. She was on time, had great communication, easily handled two dogs that both like to pull on the leash, and best of all my dogs really seemed to like her. I’m sure they’re looking forward to their next walk with her.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
