About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, and hamsters, and for the past 22 years I’ve always had a dog of my own—they’re truly part of the family. Right now, we have a sweet 2-year-old Italian Greyhound, so I understand the energy, patience, and consistency that come with caring for a young dog. I also have experience caring for other types of pets, including our bearded dragon, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and needs. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I don’t take that lightly. I’ll care for your pet the same way I care for my own—with lots of love, attention, and respect for their routine so they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I’m a stay-at-home mom to three children, all over the age of 8, so our home is calm and doesn’t have little ones running around. My daughters are homeschooled, which gives us a very flexible schedule and allows us to be home often throughout the day. While we do have activities, we’re able to plan our schedule around the pets in our care and can be home every 2–4 hours as needed. This flexibility means your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and consistency while staying with us. Our home environment is relaxed, dependable, and centered around making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I do not have a fenced yard but I do take frequent walks with my dog through the neighborhood so walks will not be a problem.
“Rebecca was very communicative. She was very caring for my diabetic kitty. When an unexpected issue arose, she was quick to inform me & work with me for a solution. She sent us pictures & updates on his levels everyday. She will definitely treat your pet with love!!”

“I 😘 the family that took care of my Canine companion. They noticed that Scout had itchy ear and notified me and he's been doing great.i would 100% use them again. You will not be regretful in choosing them to care for your furry child/ren.”

“Leslie was amazing! Walking into her home you immediately felt calm and welcomed. Perfect for Cooper care when we took a quick trip. Leaving your dog with someone else is nerve racking enough, I had no worries on my trip while Cooper was in her care. Very responsive to any questions, shared pictures and updates on Cooper multiple times a day. Very comforting to know Cooper was getting care and attention in our absence. Will DEFINITELY book with Leslie in the future. ?⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐?”

“From the initial meeting to picking Beef up, Olivia was amazing! She was so welcoming and I immediately felt like Beef was in good hands. I received pictures every day of Beef enjoying his time on walks or playing with her dog and cats. She even sewed up a corner of his bed that had ripped prior to us getting there! I was so happy that I could trust Beef would be taken care of while I was out of town and I will absolutely be trusting Olivia with Beef in the future!”

“Grace was amazing with my boy. I was so nervous to leave him but she did such a good job making sure he was taken care of and I got so many cute pictures of him. I would recommend Grace if you’re looking for an amazing caretaker for your pup!”

“Kaleigh and her family did a phenomenal job taking care of Zap. She made sure to keep me updated daily. Zap seemed to have enjoyed his visit and will certainly be utilizing her services again soon.”

“Daniel did an excellent job taking care of my dog, Hermes. He was attentive, responsible, and clearly cared about Hermes’ well-being. Throughout the entire process, Daniel was very transparent and communicative, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated the updates and his overall professionalism. It’s not easy to trust someone with your pet, and this was my first time doing that. However, Daniel made it a great experience. I will definitely continue to use him whenever I go on vacation and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable pet care.”

“Cameron was absolutely amazing! She worked around our weird schedule and was very accommodating. Our sweet little Rey came back as happy as ever I know she treated her as if she was her own”

“Brian did a great job with our puppy, Jax. We were worried about leaving Jax since he is so young (13 weeks), but Brian made the drop-off, stay, and pickup easy. He communicated and sent updates and pictures daily. We were traveling from out-of-state, so finding someone reliable and willing to deal with a young puppy made our vacation less stressful! I recommend Brian to everyone looking for an overnight sitter for their pet. Jax stayed with Brian for 6 nights. No issues!”

“Very kind, loved the picture updates, and my dog was very well cared for. It was so nice to be able to enjoy my trip without having to worry about my dog because I knew he was being taken well cared of. Thank you!”

“Chelsea watched both my kitties for almost a week and kept me updated often. I really enjoyed her great communication with me. I will definitely be using her services again. I appreciated her patience and understanding with my last minute request as well!”

About: I have experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, and I am also open to providing care for cats. I am happy to assist with any needs your pet may have. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important pets are to their families, and I will treat your pets with the same care, attention, and love that I give my own. I am currently a full time student working in public school. I leave around 7am and I get off at 2:00/2:30pm Monday-Friday. I am available to walk or do drop ins after 2:30pm. If I am house sitting/dropping in I may have to arrive/leave sooner depending on how far you are from me. On the weekends I work from 6:50am-11:30am and 1pm-5pm. I have three dogs at home so if you are looking to board you will need to bring your dog to my residence to make sure they can be around my dogs. Your dog has to be able to stay in a crate for 4-6 hours while I’m a work. My grandparents will give them a bathroom break in the afternoon. I will follow your schedule, including feeding times, walks, and any required medications. I am committed to giving your pets attentive care and plenty of affection.
“Kristen was absolutely amazing and so accommodating for a last minute request! My boy had so much fun with her and her family. She communicated very well and reassured my fur child was having a blast, being a good boy, and well taken care of. Thank you so much, Kristen!”

“Evelyn was terrific. I felt total confidence in the care my pet received. Evelyn maintained daily contact via texts and photos. I would definitely reccomend her to others in need of care for their pet.”

“Dear Samantha, Thanks so much for loving Cici so much. My Cici is an 8lb mini-pinch and 18+ years old. Cici usually has good /bad days, she can't barely see and has some type of dementia. Samantha is a 10*. I don't have enough words to thank her, however here is a small list: 1. Schedule: She picked up / dropped off Cici on time. 2. Communication: I'm a helicopter doggy-mom and Samantha was responding to all the messages regarding to feeding, sleep/comfort, and daily activities. The communications were clear and prompt, also Samantha sent pictures, where I could see how comfy/happy Cici was. 3. Feeding & sleeping time: Samantha well communicated about Cici's eating time/habits and funny events with food. (Cici is only 8 lbs, but she eats like a trucker). In Summary: Samantha is the best doggy sitter that I ever have. I love the idea of having Rover's payment method, it was one less thing to worry about. Sincerely, Mrs. Roman”

“Kristine was phenomenal handling my 2 corgis. She was flexible with her schedule for drop off and pick up since the weather wasn't ideal and she provided daily updates and photos. She was patient with me of my corgis as his temperament was a little grumpy with us gone. I would definitely recommend Kristine to others and use her again in the future.”

“Cj is such a loving lady and loved on our pups all weekend. She sent us updates their whole stay. I highly recommend her. Lucy and Big Mama will definitely be back. Thank you so much.”

Ashley took wonderful care of our golden retriever, Winter, during her 8-night stay. She kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious that Winter was well cared for, comfortable, and loved throughout her stay. Ashley was friendly, communicative, and made the entire process seamless, including pick-up and drop-off. Winter came home happy and relaxed, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely book with Ashley again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. Thank you, Ashley!

Ashley was AMAZING! She was so great with our lab hooch, and was more than accommodating when we last minute had a delay in our trip. Hooch got plenty of time to run around and play and was well loved and taken care of the whole week we were away. We just moved down to Palm Bay and are so happy we found someone we trust not too far from us. We will definitely use Ashley again and would recommend her to anyone!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
