“Nancy took wonderful care of my fur babies. She sent me pictures, kept me updated on how they were doing, and treated them as one of her own. I would without a doubt trust her with my dogs again, and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, cozy place to leave their pets!”

“Joshua is great! He responds very quickly too. My Boston can be skidish being around new people, new items, and new dogs. He went right up to Josh like he knew him. He watched my dogs over night and everything went very smoothly. He even sent me pictures to help me see them and how they were doing! Highly recommend”

“Kristine was great with our Charlie! She was so nice to take our pup over a holiday. She sent pictures and videos every day! I highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!”

“CJ came highly recommended and was great with Lucy. Her dogs were very friendly with their new friend and Lucy seemed very comfortable with CJ and her fur babies. We definitely will have more visits with wonderful family!”

About: I’ve always had a pet, from hamsters, turtles, ferrets, cats to dogs. I don’t mind a dog that’s a little naughty. Currently, the love of my life is a four year old Australian Cattle Dog named Flash Bama. He is high energy, loves other dogs and a great cuddle boy. My dog is high energy and must be exercised and played with several times a day. He goes with me kayaking, hiking, and on long car trips. So, pet care is always a part of my daily routine. I am available M-F after 4pm and anytime Saturday and Sunday. I leave for work at 6am M-F so overnights are possible if it fits your schedule. My home is on a quarter acre with a good sized back yard with a 4 ft chain linked fence. It’s large enough for a dog to run, catch a frisbee or herd a herding ball. My floors are ceramic tile and high end vinyl, no mess worries. There are plenty of outdoor dog toys. I have a dog door leading to a 4x8x6 foot tarped cage. That cage door is open when I’m home so that my dog can go outside when he wants to however, most of the time I’m outside with my pet.
“Gail was amazing! She cared for my dog Sasha as if she was her own. She sent me pictures of Sasha playing and resting with her dog every day while I was away. Sasha was visibly happy when I dropped her off and when I picked her up so I knew for sure she was happy being there. Sasha loves to swim and jump in the pool and being that Gail has a pool, it was a big bonus for Sasha being there. Gail's care was way better than any boarding facility I've used in the past. I will definitely be going to her for any future boardings.”

“Dottie enjoyed her stay with Lysi & Seth. We felt comfortable leaving her with them for the first time and would do it again. They also sent pictures of her while we were gone.”

“Absolutely awesome people! I am so glad we found you! I know my boy was well taken care of while he was with y’all. So lucky to have met you guys and I can’t thank you enough!”

“Darcy made us feel very at ease about leaving our Pilot for the first time! She communicated really well and kept in contact while we were away with cute pictures/updates. Pilot had a great experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to trust Darcy with her again!”

“My dog absolutely loves staying with them. She loves catching lizards in the yard and loves that she gets to sleep with them in their bed. When I picked her up she could care less about coming home with me. I really appreciate them treating her like she is their own.”

About: I’m not just a sitter…I’m your dog’s new bestie! With a fenced backyard for zoomies, fetch, and sunshine naps, every visit is full of fun and love. I make sure each pup gets personal attention, endless belly rubs, and a stress-free stay while you’re gone. I work full time from 7-330 but as soon as I’m home, my time is your pet’s time. I allow dogs to sleep in the bed if they’re used to that, or I follow any client-driven requests! Your preference. Your dog has endless access to the fenced backyard! And I have a pug that loves to play with other dogs! Friendly dogs are welcome!
“Max seems to be happy. He came home and was relaxed. He normally comes home and follows me for a day or two. He played a lot. I received pictures every day and kept me informed how he was doing.”

“Debra was great with my golden doodle. She gave updates and sent pictures. My dog was very well taken care of during her stay. I will definitely use her again. I highly recommend Debra to care for your furry friends.”

“Cassie, Michael and their girls were wonderful You can really tell they enjoyed watching Goose. He came home exhausted, and plopped down on his bed. We will definitely use them again! Thanks guys!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Palm Bay
Adam and Katie were absolutely wonderful dog sitters! They were easy to communicate with, responded promptly, and sent plenty of photo updates throughout the stay so I knew my dog was in great hands. I would book with them again in a heartbeat and encourage others to do the same.

Brittani is great! She really cares about the well being of your pet and she shares pictures and communicates professionally throughout the entire time. Overall positive experience and I felt more than comfortable leaving my dog with her. Would highly recommend, especially if you want someone who cares!

Thank you Gretchen, for taking such good care of Luna! We had no worries about Luna’s well being during our vacation. Gretchen’s home is very accommodating for her furry visitors! She was flexible and helpful and her communication was excellent while we were out! It was so sweet to see photos of my girl running and playing with her teenage son! I would definitely book again and highly recommend her!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tiffany’s stay this weekend! While I was away on a quick vacation getaway, I had complete peace of mind knowing she was in such loving and caring hands. From the moment I dropped Tiffany off until the moment I picked her up, she was treated like part of the family. The level of care, affection, and attention they gave her was truly exceptional. I especially appreciated the regular updates, photos, and videos they sent throughout her stay. Seeing how happy, comfortable, and well cared for Tiffany was made my vacation so much more enjoyable and stress-free. The entire family was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely loving toward her. It was clear that Tiffany was not just being watched—she was being cared for as if she were their own dog. I am beyond grateful for the wonderful experience and the peace of mind they provided. Tiffany came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. Moving forward, I will absolutely be booking all of Tiffany’s stays with them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring, and exceptional pet sitters!

what could be more important than who takes care of your dogs? Bailey is a wonderfully caring, loving, responsible, responsive professional who took excellent care of my two dogs. She is a pleasure to work with and I will be back again and again - Bailey is the best!

We could not do a meet and greet in advance because we are not local. We had some back and forth conversation to give both of us peace of mind that this was a good fit. I can confirm it was a great fit. Theresa appeared to be attentive to my 3 doodle mixes. She sent frequent pictures and communications. I could tell through the photos that my fur babies felt safe (i.e. sleeping on back). I would absolutely love my fur babies to visit again next time we are in the area.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
