“We are in love with Dominique. She it’s so intuitive and professional. Our Mylo it’s not the easiest dog but she knew how to create rapport with him and now when he sees her he wiggles. That is an amazing feeling. She keeps you posted with updates and shows an amazing ability to know the your dog. Definitely a person to trust.”

“From the very first meet and great we felt so comfortable with Jillian. Such a warm, comfortable environment. She has such a soothing presence. Dakota took right to her. We got wonderful updates and pictures all weekend. Highly recommend and we will absolutely be back.”

“Pat is the most amazing pet sitter we have ever had. I feel 100% comfortable leaving our 3 fur babies with her. She spoils them rotten and they love it. Our dogs are always happy and well cared for when we pick them up.”

“Fantastic! Neptune had a wonderful time and was well cared for. Jessica sent many pictures and reassurance as we were away. She was super kind and pleasant and I know our dog was treated the same way. Thanks!”

About: Ive been a licensed RVT (aka.animal nurse) since 2013 when taking my National Boards. I've always been an animal loving, tree hugging, empathetic person so helping pet parents comes naturally. Since I'm extremely flexible, I'd love to help my community take care of their furry friends. My knowledge and experience helps in any stage of life, all those coming with its own set of bumps and turns. I spent many years in speciality care so I cant help but have a little softer spot for seniors and medically complicated. Whether petsitting, medication giving, rehabilitation help, basic training, paw holding, extra TLC or just potty breaks it'd be my pleasure to help. I've been lucky enough to take the last few years off to have my small children at home with me. Now that everyone is in full time school I have this open schedule. I miss taking care of littles, I miss animal interaction :) and I'm not quite able to go back to full time work so this is a no brainer. I want to use my skillset to help parents in any capacity small or large Whether an animal is at my home or I'm in their home my job is to make them feel as safe and loved just as their parent would. Structure and routine is so important to all creatures, so my goal is to keep things as normal as possible for them. Upon visiting my friends, I want each pet to feel like I’m only there to serve them :) while keeping things as normal as possible for the routine and schedule.
“They were great! Very clean and loving home. Their dogs are so sweet, and were incredibly friendly with mine right away. They took him for walks every day. I knew they were the right choice the moment we got there and my dog was immediately wagging his tail meeting everyone. I highly recommend Casey”

“Very happy and satisfied with the care she gave my pet. I would recommend her to anyone whose is looking for a really good pet caregiver. I will use her services again in the near future.”

“Carissa took great care of our fur baby. She sent updates frequently. She was extremely accommodating even though I got confused with the schedule. Our puppy was well cared for. I will definitely book again.”

“My first time using Rover was a wonderful experience. Even though my tiny Morkie has separation anxiety he appeared to have been quite comfortable at Andrea’s house and I felt comfortable too, getting updates with pictures regularly over the weekend we were traveling. I would definitely use Andrea again if the situation arises where we need to board our dog while we are away from home.”
“Patsy was so wonderful! Our shy little boy instantly felt comfortable with her and in her home. She sent regular updates and photos and is a total joy to work with! Happy to have found a trusted sitter for our furbaby! Thank you Patsy!”

“Mazikeen loved staying at Lori's and even made a new friend with their sweet goldendoodle, Honey. Lori sent tons of pictures and videos and we will definitely be choosing Lori and her family again in the future!”

“Cameron has watched my little Rey several times and she always comes home in the best moods! She was so excited when we were walking up to her house to drop her off. Cameron will treat your dog as if they are her own.”

“We had a great experience! They took amazing care of our dog and gave her lots of play time. We had no trouble at all and we got lots of pictures. Highly recommend for anyone needing boarding for their pets!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Kaylee and Wesley! They were both so kind, friendly, and easy to work with, and we were very happy to have found them while we were in the area for a wedding. Our Labrador, Pittenger came home happy and well cared for, which gave us peace of mind. We would definitely use them again if we’re back in the area and need someone to care for him. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years through my own pets as well as helping family members. I currently have a chocolate Labrador Retriever and a Shiba Inu, so I’m comfortable with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’ve also cared for my parents’ dogs, including one with diabetes that requires insulin injections. I’m experienced with administering insulin and understand how important it is to follow medication schedules and care instructions carefully. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or just wants companionship and cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care throughout the week. I’m available for walks, boarding, and pet care during most weekdays and weekends. I always do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine and will communicate clearly about my availability before confirming a booking. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I know every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I’ll take the time to follow your care instructions closely and make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether we’re out on a walk or spending time together at home, I’ll always keep your pet’s safety in mind. I believe communication is just as important as great care, so you can expect regular updates and photos throughout each visit. My goal is for you to have complete peace of mind knowing your pet is being cared for with patience, kindness, and the same attention I give my own dogs.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cocoa Beach
This was the first time we have left our Irish doodle with anyone besides family so we were a little nervous but Melissa and her family did such a wonderful job with our girl! She communicated well, answered all our questions, and sent lots of pictures. For that, we are so grateful! Macie returned to us happy and we could tell she had the best time there. Thank you Melissa and Uncle Sean for taking such good care of her!
Casey looked out for me on short notice over Easter weekend. I was new to the app and traveling on the road. From the minute, we arrived until we picked him up the next day I can’t imagine anyone looking out for my dog in a better way. The outdoor area for the dogs to get loose was beautiful. The grounds were immaculate. Casey couldn’t have been friendlier. I even got a bonus beach dog walk. Thank you for taking care of our dog!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
