Currently, I have a healthy 5 year old Merle long haired chihuahua named Hugo. He is the alpha and prefers to be with female dogs that are calm and submissive. He likes to sleep for most of the day. If I am watching your dog at my house and your dog and Hugo don’t get along, Hugo is happy to go over to his grandparents house to get spoiled by them :) In 2022, my 18 year old chihuahua and best friend passed away. He had a long life and during his last few years, I put my RN experience to work and became his dog nurse giving him eye drops, ear drops, and oral medications. I've had roommates with cats and large dogs (Lab, pit bull, corgi) in the past, and I have experience helping to take care of them as well. Casey looked out for me on short notice over Easter weekend. I was new to the app and traveling on the road. From the minute, we arrived until we picked him up the next day I can’t imagine anyone looking out for my dog in a better way. The outdoor area for the dogs to get loose was beautiful. Lori is great! She made me feel so comfortable about leaving my girl with her. It went so well, I’m not sure Gracie wanted to leave! She sent me pictures throughout the night which eased my anxiety,I have a senior dog, who requires more potty breaks than normal and Lori even set a timer to ensure that she was taken out every couple hours! I would highly recommend Lori to anyone looking for a very caring person to watch their pooch!
