About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs since I was little. I will treat you pup like it’s my own and make sure they get the care they deserve when they stay with me. I’m retired and home most of the week. If I need to step out for a quick errand I will kennel your puppy so they stay safe and can rest while I am out. I currently have no pets of my own so I will give all of my attention to your pup. I have a fenced back yard to play in and a dog bed next to mine to make sure you pup feels safe and secure.

About: Hi, I'm Lorraine! Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I'm currently a proud pet mom to Winston, my loyal 8-year-old Chocolate Labrador; Bear, his mischievous 8-month-old Mini Dachshund brother; Sam, our curious 9-month-old cat; Theodore, our sweet 6-year-old bunny; and Tito, our 9-year-old feisty Green-Cheek Conure. Over the years, I've been fortunate to love many wonderful pets. I raised our beloved mastiff mix Bruno, from puppyhood through his senior years until he crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 16 years old. I've also cared for our two cats, Dolly and Mowgli, from kittens into adulthood. Beyond cats and dogs, I have hands-on experience caring for bunnies, hamsters, lizards, and birds, including my beautiful Blue Quaker Parrot, Mr. Grumbles. Most recently, I enjoyed running a small homestead where I cared for 25 chickens and 2 roosters, along with 22 hand-raised cheeky ducks. When you entrust your pets to my care, you can have complete peace of mind knowing they'll be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own family pets. Whether it's a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. Communication is important to me, so you'll receive regular updates and plenty of photos to help you feel connected to your furry (or feathered!) family members. Before any booking, I'd love to arrange a meet-and-greet so we can get to know each other, discuss your pet's routine and individual needs, and ensure their vacation is just as enjoyable as yours! The Kindred Pet Company LLC is fully licensed and insured. Pet care is naturally woven into my daily routine because I care for my own pets every day. My mornings begin with feeding, walks, fresh water, cleaning litter trays and cages, and making sure everyone gets the attention they need before I start my day. Throughout the day, I make time for potty breaks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of affection, with usually an hour-long evening walks, feeding, and bedtime routines to finish the day. When I'm caring for your pet, I make them part of my routine too. I carefully follow their normal schedule to help them feel comfortable and secure while you're away, ensuring they receive the same love, patience, and attentive care that I give my own pets When dogs stay in my home, they'll be welcomed into a safe, loving environment alongside my two friendly, well-mannered dogs. I have a securely fenced backyard where they can enjoy supervised playtime, explore, and relax on the shaded porch. Daily exercise is an important part of our routine, so I walk my dogs twice a day through my gated community, always on a leash for their safety. For puppies and younger dogs who are still learning, I'm happy to reinforce basic commands and good manners using positive, consistent encouragement. I always follow your preferred routines and training methods to help maintain consistency. For drop-in visits, I like to schedule a meet-and-greet beforehand so I can get to know you, your pet, and their normal routine. This gives us an opportunity to discuss feeding schedules, walks, medications, favorite activities, and any special instructions, ensuring your pet receives personalized care while you're away. Throughout each visit, I'll provide plenty of love, attention, and regular photo updates so you can have complete peace of mind.

“I have never left my dogs with a dog sitter before (only family members) so I was anxious using Rover. If you need a caring, clean home for your pet book Janel because she is wonderful. She sent daily updates with photos showing the dogs were doing just fine (I think they were smiling). 😁 She has a big fenced in yard and her dog Sam was so good with my dogs. I will definitely use her again. Also using the Rover app was easy and user friendly.”

Today I have two Mini Australian Shepherds, Rosie and Chili, who keep me on my toes with their high energy, intelligence, and need for constant engagement. I work in sales and constantly have my phone on me. I usually respond immediately unless I am in a meeting.

About: I love animals. In my free time I volunteer for charity events benefiting children and animals. I am a photographer and I donate photography to local rescues to photograph their babies for adoption! I am a lifetime founder/member of the Brevard Zoo (my family helped build it). I worked in pet retail environments for 8+ years with local shop owners and worked in a vet clinic for 1 year. *I also offer photography services for animals while I care for them* I have had everything from a fish to a Great Dane. My childhood home was filled with animals of every kind, some even in the zoo! I am responsible and capable. I respect the owners wishes for their pet, whether that is a strict training visit or a rough and tumble cuddling session. M-Th (not including holidays) I work 6 hour days (it is possible for me to do midday breaks if arranged ahead or to work from home). Fri-Sunday I am not working! At my home I have a fenced yard and a lovely neighborhood with LOTS of sidewalks and a small park. I love going on trips with pups if the parent's okay it! Puppy parks, walks in parks, adventures into town you name it! I'm always respectful of the owner's rules - if they want "strict parenting" I've got you! If they want cuddles and treats I've got you!
