“Ichly was the ABSOLUTE BEST! Right away you can tell she cares for your pet like it’s her own! She gave us daily updates and sent so many fun and cute videos/pics of the things they did together. I wholeheartedly trust her with my pets and would recommend her time and time again! Thank you Ichly!!!!”

“Lori did an excellent job watching my girl. She has a lovely, fenced yard. Torben played with the neighbor dog and went out on her boat to explore the islands! She was on vacation at Lori’s!”

“Andrea is absolutely amazing! She accommodated our last minute get away and was super flexible with our time and delays. Peanut loves to go stay for her doggie vaca. Thank you for always taking such great care of our fur baby.”

“Maria was just wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone. She had my boy for a week and took the best care of him. I was at ease during my travels knowing that he was in good hands. Best boarding experience ever for my pup.”

“My dogs always have a great time with Patsy. She loves them and cares for them like they're her own. My senior dog takes multiple medications and requires extra care, and Patsy has the experience and huge heart to care for even the most fragile, older dog like mine. She is wonderful! Thanks, Patsy! :)”
“Paul is simply the best. Our dog comes back so happy every time he returns from a visit to Paul's house and it is relaxing to know we have zero things to worry about while we are away. Plenty of pictures and reports so there is never a question how things are going. I can not say enough good things about Paul!”

“Was wonderful with our puppy and even helped us out last minute. Overall a great experience and sent us lots of pictures. Will definitely use again when in the Orlando area!”

“Great 8 night stay with Crystal and Timothy! We were worried because this was our dog Dotti's first boarding experience. She did great and loved their daughter and neighbor girl! Thanks so much to a very nice family!!”

About: I fortunately have 6+ years experience working in the veterinary field and I’ve also been pet sitting for 10 years, for close friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues of mine. I can take care of special needs pets, giving oral or injectable medications and changing diapers or applying creams. I got you covered! I’m currently part-time at my job so I have ample time for play dates, walks, sleep overs, whatever your pet care needs may be! I have a large fenced in yard, treats for both dogs and cats, toys for both dogs and cats, and a medium size crate if needed I can provide for those of our furry friends who are crate trained.
“Luna was taking care of and very happy when we got her back. Isabel was extremely polite and very communicative. We can tell she really enjoyed caring for Luna and was very professional and kind.”

About: I love dogs personally and have had over ten years of dog sitting and walking as well as training through out my life. I possess skills and experiences with caring for and training puppies and younger dogs and have raised over 7 puppies myself so I am quite used to caring for pets that are learning and growing as well as potty training experience. I as well have experience caring for older and senior dogs which might need more attention and care and have had prior experience as well with my own senior dogs, so I am used to working with pets which have joint or mobility issues. I am also accustomed to caring for pets which have species need or requirements, such as taking care of very medicated animals and pets which anxiety and fear. I also have taken care of many different animals through out my life, having been raised working and volunteering at animal shelters, farms, and non profits. I am currently a student at a local college close by, so I am very available throughout the week and weekends for caring for your pets or any last minute needs or stays. I am easily able to adapt to your fur babies schedule and routine in your home making them feel as comfortable as possible. Giving care such as walks or play times for their daily exercise and comfort as well as drop by visits through out the day when ever is needed for feeding and bath room time or even just hanging out with your fur baby so they are not lonely.
“Dominique took such amazing care of our sweet boy, Odin! He was so spoiled with many walks and playtime. Excellent communication and Dominique sent many photos of all the fun adventures. I’m sure Odin can’t wait for us to take another trip so he can go visit Dominque again ❤️”

“Isabella definitely enjoyed herself with Jami and her grandson. Excellent care for my girl who has seizures and actually had to deal with one in her care. Thank you so much!”

“Joanna and her husband were amazing! Our dog can be really anxious but we could tell from the pictures and updates that he was at ease and happy at their place. Joanna was super responsive and communicative. We would definitely feel confident leaving Stormzy with them again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cocoa
Susanna takes great care of our Golden Retriever, Stella. Susanna only takes on one client at a time which I appreciate since Stella wants to be part of a friendly pack, but the coming and going of strange dogs would be disruptive and anxiety-provoking. I appreciate Susanna’s willingness to hold the boundary of one visiting (or reconnoitering) dog at a time, which set my mind at ease.

Best first experience with Rover! Amanda was incredible with our girl Aurora and I could tell from the updates that she was having a fantastic time staying with Amanda and her sweet family. She was so well cared for and it put my heart at ease to know we could get away for a cruise and know Aurora was in good hands. I happily recommend Amanda for anyone looking for a fantastic dog sitter! We'd love to have her sit for us again on our next trip!

Priya is an amazing sitter and took excellent care of my Pug! She is kind and professional, and made sure Matias was comfortable right from the start. The communication was great and she kept me updated throughout the stay. Highly recommend bringing any pet to Priya and I look forward to seeing her again! Thanks!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
