I’ve also helped bring displaced dogs from Puerto Rico to the mainland United States to find loving homes. Along with cats and dogs, I’m familiar with caring for other animals, including guinea pigs. I’m comfortable with dogs of all shapes and sizes and enjoy providing walks, playtime, baths, and plenty of love and attention. I also have six years of experience as a nationally registered pharmacy technician, which taught me the importance of following medication instructions carefully and watching for potential side effects. Please share any medication or injection needs beforehand so we can discuss whether I can provide the appropriate care. I’m available Monday through Friday after 4:30 p.m., with early morning walks also possible, and all day and overnight on weekends. My husband and I coordinate our work schedules so your pet can receive more frequent attention and companionship. For boarding, pets are typically alone for no more than 4–6 hours at a time. We’ll confirm our schedules before booking to ensure we can meet your pet’s needs. I’m easy to reach and happy to follow your pet’s routine and specific care instructions. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I work full time, but I make time before and after work for attentive care, playtime, and companionship. I’m flexible with pet sitting in your home and happy to discuss a schedule that fits your pet’s routine. I’ll confirm availability and time away before each booking to make sure we’re a good fit for your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priorities. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow your care instructions and make sure doors are securely locked after arriving and leaving. During walks, I’ll keep your pet leashed and maintain a safe distance from unfamiliar animals. I’ll also pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and surroundings to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.

She took them on walks, brushed their teeth, brushed them, gave them lots of love and attention, and even let them sleep with her! Gerri was very accommodating last minute. She also responds very quickly to messages. Our dog seemed comfortable and happy in the photos and when we picked him up. The only thing I could nit pick is that she had his leash hooked to his collar instead of his harness when we picked him up. I would definitely use Gerri again!
