“What a relief to be on vacation and know that our sweet girl was well cared for. Lori and host dog, Mocha, were so sweet to our Shiba. We received frequent updates and photos and were able to relax knowing she was in great hands. Looking forward to our next visit to Lori!”

“Carl & Linda were amazing! They sent me pics of my pup and had really great communication. My pup was super happy when I picked him up. If I could give them 6 out of 5 stars, I would 🙂”

“Jonathan and his wife were great with my pup! They were very responsive, and I got some picture updates throughout the stay. They were also able to give my dog his meds, which isn’t always easy. One of their dogs and my dog were not best friends, but Jonathan and his wife made sure all the dogs were safe and had play time. 😊”

“He’s the best, grateful he’s been available to watch my pups when I travel. My dogs love their visits, which means the world to me. Also appreciate his flexibility for my chaotic schedule.”

About: Ive been a licensed RVT (aka.animal nurse) since 2013 when taking my National Boards. I've always been an animal loving, tree hugging, empathetic person so helping pet parents comes naturally. Since I'm extremely flexible, I'd love to help my community take care of their furry friends. My knowledge and experience helps in any stage of life, all those coming with its own set of bumps and turns. I spent many years in speciality care so I cant help but have a little softer spot for seniors and medically complicated. Whether petsitting, medication giving, rehabilitation help, basic training, paw holding, extra TLC or just potty breaks it'd be my pleasure to help. I've been lucky enough to take the last few years off to have my small children at home with me. Now that everyone is in full time school I have this open schedule. I miss taking care of littles, I miss animal interaction :) and I'm not quite able to go back to full time work so this is a no brainer. I want to use my skillset to help parents in any capacity small or large Whether an animal is at my home or I'm in their home my job is to make them feel as safe and loved just as their parent would. Structure and routine is so important to all creatures, so my goal is to keep things as normal as possible for them. Upon visiting my friends, I want each pet to feel like I’m only there to serve them :) while keeping things as normal as possible for the routine and schedule.
“From the very first meet and great we felt so comfortable with Jillian. Such a warm, comfortable environment. She has such a soothing presence. Dakota took right to her. We got wonderful updates and pictures all weekend. Highly recommend and we will absolutely be back.”

“What a relief it was to find Lori and family. Our Bella had a wonderful stay and we were supplied with many text messages and photos. I can't recommend Lori highly enough!!! If you are looking for a sitter in her area, I know you will be beyond satisfied!!!”

“Carie is 10/10– absolutely amazing! We have never left our dog with anyone but family, so we were very nervous. Carie put us completely at ease. She did multiple meet ups prior to watching our boy, and treated him with such kindness and love. During his stay, she sent tons of pictures and gave several updates on how he was doing. I could tell from the pictures alone that he was happy and having a wonderful time. We feel completely blessed to have found Carie. We are so grateful to know we have someone we completely trust to watch our dog, if we ever travel again. I couldn’t recommend her enough! She’s the best. :)”

“We were happy to find Jolene as it was nice to know that our dog would have some cat and dog company whilst we were away. As an older boy traditional dog boarding wears him out. He just wants to nap in peace with a like minded companion. Upon meeting Jolene I felt confident that Sampson would be comfortable and well looked after. We enjoyed the photo updates provided during our absence. I believe Sammy dog enjoyed his time. Thank you. Jolene. It was lovely to meet you.”

“We needed some boarding for our 2 golden-doodles for a couple of nights while we were visiting the Coca Beach/Cape Canaveral/Merritt Island area. Mia had availability and checked all the boxes for us...worked from home, fenced back yard, and 2 of her own pups for playtime with our own. Mia was very flexiable and provided a safe, loving environment for Cooper and Murphy! Thank you very much Mia! As well to ROVER.COM. My wife and I have used this service several times when we travel for vacations or short trips and have had great positive experiences! Highly recommend Mia and Rover.com”

“Our dog Brody enjoys staying at Patsy's! Patsy is super reliable and takes great care of him! We can relax and not worry about him while we are away. She also sends us the cutest photo updates! We highly recommend Patsy!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cape Canaveral
I was in Cape Canaveral and did a last minute request to Dezarea to watch my dog for the day so I could go to the Kennedy Space Center! She responded right away and was so welcoming and accommodating with a clean lovely home and her own dog who played with mine. That was my first Rover experience and I am now even more confident of using Rover and grateful to Dezarae for her care and attention!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
