“Ashley was timely, followed all instructions, and did a great job taking care of our babies. We didn’t have to worry at all. She sent photos and detailed updates too. We would recommend her!”

“Bethany is a great choice to care for your dog. We have a young puppy that's still learning to be house broken. As well as nipping and grabbing everything in sight. She took on the challenge for a weekend. We got amazing feed back and updates throughout. We returned and could tell our puppy was well taken care of and happy.”

“Lori is the best! Excellent communication skills, she kept us informed throughout her visit. We will be asking her again soon to watch our close family member Cody (Golden Retriever)??”

“Bree was amazing with Lexi. She was loving and attentive. Always on time for her check ins. And did a great job getting Lexi to eat her food leftover from the morning. I would use her again in a heartbeat.”

About: My mother is a verterinarian so I grew up around her veterinary clinic assisting her with tasks. This has helped me really understand our pets and their needs. They will be taken care of and in good hands! Please note: I’m currently accepting bookings within the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area only. Feel free to message me with your location before booking if you’re unsure whether you’re within my service area! Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for in my schedule. I plan my days around each pet’s needs, making sure they receive timely walks, meals, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. I believe pets thrive on consistency, so I do my best to keep them on their normal routine while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, keep fresh water available, make sure they’re fed on schedule, provide exercise and playtime appropriate for their energy level, and give them lots of love and attention. I’ll also keep your home clean, respect your space, and send regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Had a very good experience with Andrea. She met with me on a very short notice during a holiday and took care of my cats while I was away for an emergency. Timely and good updates throughout.”

“This is the second time Chrystal has watched our cats for multiple days at a time and I couldn't feel more at ease. She is attentive and communicative. She will be my first choice next time as well! Thanks Chrystal🐾”

About: I’ve been taking care of my dog and friends dogs for almost 10 years now. I can provide the exercise they need and follow feeding and/or medication instructions as needed. I am very respectful of routines. I’m new to the area and currently have full time availability to take care of your pets. I have a car so I can travel to drop in and walk your pets. If booked to board over at a clients home I will be respectful of the schedule and routine of the dog(s) and follow all instructions given.
“Nova was amazing for a last minute drop-in visit booking! My usual pet sitter couldn’t accommodate us due to a schedule conflict. Then I interviewed five other sitters and chose one. Unfortunately she didn’t even show up for a test run! So I had to start all over and talk about stress! I had a great feeling with Nova during the m/g and explained I needed somebody dependable. She assured me she was the one. And she proved it! And she took the cutest pictures too! Great update on how Snoop did and even included pictures of our cat. I will definitely use her again! Thanks Nova for helping us!”

About: I’ve been working with animals since I was 16 years old. I started at Pet Paradise and worked every position there. I moved on to a vet clinic where I was a supervisor. I wait tables now, but care for animals deeply. I have experience with most breeds and can handle aggressive animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, ferrets, Guinea pigs, bearded dragons and more! I work part time so I am pretty flexible. I will always communicate if there is a scheduling error as I like to keep everyone happy and in the loop. I have years of animal experience and the love and passion to work with animals. I’m very trusting with your fur baby, as I have pets of my own.
“Brook is great! She took great care of our dog with extra love and care as she is recouping an injury. Brook clearly genuinely loves animals. We are in town visiting and we're very comfortable with Brook coming in to help out. In fact, we booked her for another day of check-in.”

“Katie is AWESOME. Every single time I've used her she is not only phenomenal, my dog loves her, and I am able to truly relax and know everything is being handled above and beyond. She is very communicative, reliable, and helpful. Would absolutely recommend.”

About: May name is Quina, but I go by Q 😊 I have owned three dogs and a cat, and still take care of friends & family's pets while they are away or working! My schedule is very flexible. I have experience with parrots and birds as well! 🐶🐱🦜 I work remotely from home most days (this job is done on my time, so I am very flexible. I work two days a week at a local restaurant; Sunday day time is my only “scheduled” day. The rest of the week changes; but again my schedule is extremely flexible! ☺️ I always adhere to dietary restrictions, time schedules, respecting the animals and being sure they have fresh clean water and feel comfortable in their space.
About: I have three girls that would love to give your dog some love and attention on the weekend We would treat your fur baby with love and compassion I currently only work part time and my three kids are in school all day so I have plenty of time during the day to play with your fur baby. I have a fenced yard and one energetic, playful dog who would love a play date. We like to take walks around the neighborhood and sometimes go to the local dog park.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cape Canaveral. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
