“Ashley was timely, followed all instructions, and did a great job taking care of our babies. We didn’t have to worry at all. She sent photos and detailed updates too. We would recommend her!”

“Bethany was great to communicate with during our time away. She kept us updated on Luna with pictures. Luna seemed incredibly well taken care of and healthy on return. Would definitely recommend anyone to book Bethany.”
“Chrystal was amazing! We needed a sitter last minute and she was so flexible with helping us out. Each visit she provided multiple pictures and details about how each kitty was doing. One of my cats is a little shy and salty and Chrystal did a great job tailoring the care to her! We definitely will be using her again!”

“Lori is the best! Excellent communication skills, she kept us informed throughout her visit. We will be asking her again soon to watch our close family member Cody (Golden Retriever)??”

About: I have four dogs ranging from small to large. I got my first dog in 2018 and added on since. I’ve spent a lot of time training my dogs teaching them commands, going on walks and finding activities that are exercising their minds. I have two bunnies as well, if you know anything about bunnies, you know that they can sometimes be a lot of work. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love all of my animals and I will love yours just as much as mine. I currently stay at home as I am focusing on college. This allows me to care for myself, my pets, and now your pets. I am available all hours of the day, for walking or drop in visits with your furry friends! I do not personally have pets that come to my house since I do have dogs and bunnies of my own. In your home I believe dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. Any instruction you give me on how to take care of your pet is going to be strictly followed. Every pet that I care for will get love will get enriching activities will get exercise taken on walks food and water, which is all very bare minimum for pet sitter.
“My Yorkie is a rescue and he has stress/anxiety and separation issues. I had him only a few months when I began having Sarilyne coming to my house while I was working. Sarilyne was able to establish trust and security to my dog immediately. She is a very sweet, kind and patient and punctual person who I trust to come into my home to care for dog.”

“Andrea was amazing. She's a great communicator. She loved our cat as we do and cared for his idiosyncrasies. We are so happy we found her and will use her again.”

“Lily is The Cat Whisperer. Both of our cars consider her a best friend. Even the very shy cat comes out when Lily stops in. Lily is super reliable, does a great job. Choose her!”

“Hello, I am very pleased with the care Mellissa gave our cats She followed directions carefully and improvised when she needed to, which was great She is new to them so they kept their distance but with familiarity that will change I have a mix of my cats and a couple ferals but they are all friendly She sent pictures every day and told me what was happening and kept things cleaned up I am very pleased with her visits and highly recommend her for future visits to our home She has a cat too so she knows how they are which is very helpful She will be coming back if she is available when we need help again thank you”
“Katie was a star - not just feeding, watering and poop-scooping for our kitten while we were away, but giving her plenty of attention, playtime and cuddles. We will definitely book her for next time we are away ?. Thanks Katie! And thank you from Clementine too!”

“Megan was amazing with our pup. We had her stop by our home a few times a day to check on our 8 week old puppy. She was attentive, caring, and went about and behind to make sure our baby was well taken care of. She fed, played with and even bathed him when he had an accident in his crate. We could not be happier with the level of care she provided to Ares. I highly recommend Megan to anyone looking for a dog sitter. Thank you Megan!”
“My wife and I used Rover for the first time and booked Aspyn. I can say with full confidence that Aspyn went above and beyond to take care of our dogs. She kept us updated on her arrival and shared daily photos to let us know how they were doing. Great communication and respect of our home. Highly recommend Aspyn to take care your animals!”

“Ariana and Rapheal were fantastic. They took such good care of our puppies. I was happy to see how my dogs accepted them and enjoyed their company. I appreciate the time they took to play with them and givevthem the necessary snuggles they needed while we were gone.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
