About: Hi! My name is Jillian, I am 33 years old and am a very responsible and experienced dog and cat lover. I work from home so this gives me plenty of time and ability to care for your wonderful family member while you are away. My husband and I have 2 medium sized who are very loving and a cat. We have a fenced in yard with room to run. Id be happy to keep you updated with regular texts and pictures if you would like as I know from experience that this can make being away from them a little easier. Can't wait to meet your fury friend! I am a stay at home wife so I have plenty of time to give your fury friend all the love and attention they deserve Your fury friend will get lots of love and play time. I have a fenced in yard where they can run around and have lots of playtime and a nice neighborhood for regular walks.

About: I provide personalized, attentive care and treat every pet like a member of my own family. With years 12 of experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique needs and routine. I have experience caring for playful puppies who need extra supervision, frequent potty breaks, and consistency, as well as senior dogs who benefit from a slower pace, patience, and extra comfort. I’m also comfortable administering oral and injectable medications and following detailed care instructions to ensure your pet stays healthy and on schedule. What sets me apart is the level of communication and care I provide. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates, quick responses, and the peace of mind that your pet is being cared for in a safe, loving home. Pet care is a big part of our daily routine! My husband, Isaiah, works Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and I bartend in the evenings from 4:00 PM until around 1:00 AM. Because of our opposite schedules, your dog receives plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m home during the mornings and afternoons for walks, playtime, feeding, and potty breaks before leaving for work, and Isaiah is home in the late afternoons and evenings to continue their care before I return home at night. We work together to make sure every dog stays on their normal routine with regular potty breaks, meals, exercise, and lots of love and attention. Our goal is for every pup to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home while you’re away. My home is kept clean, pet-friendly, and free of hazards to provide a safe environment. If I have multiple boarding dogs, I carefully consider each dog’s temperament and only accept pets that I know can safely coexist. If needed, dogs can be separated during meals, rest time, or whenever it’s in their best interest. I also provide regular photo and video updates because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and having fun while you’re away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable, confident, and stress-free throughout the stay.
“Jonathan has great communication before and during his time with our pups he is great to work with and is extremely flexible if you need to adjust your booking to add additional visits”

“Jennifer was very kind and knowledgeable of my pet cats needs. She made me feel very comfortable and I would use her services again in a heartbeat. Thank you Jennifer, you're a lifesaver.”

“Monica is the best cat whisperer! My Sylvie was coming out and asking for pets in just a couple of days! I love all the updates with photos and can tell Sylvie is so happy to have Monica to play and cuddle with. Monica was also understanding when I had to add a few more days to my travel. I really appreciate having her care for Sylvie.”

“Was very happy with the job Katie did watching my Charli while I traipsed of on vacation. The daily pictures showed Charli happy and healthy, and the checkins were on time for breakfast and dinner. Got home and Charli was bright and energetic. Thank you, Katie.”

About: I have four dogs ranging from small to large. I got my first dog in 2018 and added on since. I’ve spent a lot of time training my dogs teaching them commands, going on walks and finding activities that are exercising their minds. I have two bunnies as well, if you know anything about bunnies, you know that they can sometimes be a lot of work. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love all of my animals and I will love yours just as much as mine. I currently stay at home as I am focusing on college. This allows me to care for myself, my pets, and now your pets. I am available all hours of the day, for walking or drop in visits with your furry friends! I do not personally have pets that come to my house since I do have dogs and bunnies of my own. In your home I believe dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. Any instruction you give me on how to take care of your pet is going to be strictly followed. Every pet that I care for will get love will get enriching activities will get exercise taken on walks food and water, which is all very bare minimum for pet sitter.
“Ichly is an absolute JOY. She’s attentive, kind, and an exceptional communicator—fluent in both cat and anxious mama. Booking a sitter in our new town ahead of a 2week trip abroad was nerve-racking, but I knew at our meet n’ greet Ichly was a perfect fit. She only continued to impress! She approaches every aspect of her business with radiance, patience, and precision, catering to both of my cats’ temperaments: shy spice and goofy lover boi. Bonus points for her updates worthy of a Nat Geo article… I’ll be booking her again and I’d recommend her in a heartbeat!”

“Stephanie is the best! I was very nervous leaving our kitten for the first time since we’ve had her but Stephanie completely put my mind at ease. We had a pre visit so Zoe could get familiar with her and she sent daily pics and updates while we were gone. Her background in the veterinary field was an added bonus. We will definitely use her again when the need arises.”

About: I've had pets my entire life and have always loved and respected all types of animals. I grew up with dogs and a few hamsters, but 14 years ago I adopted a kitten off of Craigslist and it was the best decision ever. I've volunteered at a few shelters and sanctuaries for cats over the years so I'm not afraid of getting dirty. My last roommate had 3 cats and my current roommate has a pitbull. My cat Moochi tolerates their presence lol. I also love most rodents. I've watched my friend's ferret a few times over the years and he's so fun. I currently work part-time as a house and commercial cleaner and one of my favorite parts of the job is meeting people's pets and spending time with them in between cleaning. That's actually what gave me the idea to try out Rover! I travel all over Brevard and have a lot of free time to fill. I am happy to come to the clients home to visit their pets. I have been alone in many clients homes before for cleaning and have never had issues or complaints.
About: I've been taking care of pets for over 15 years, I am currently a groomer and an dog trainer. I want to work with dogs for the rest of my life. I work most mornings into the evening, ideally I could start dog walking or dog sitting after work or on my day off on Sunday. I give any animal in my care my undivided attention as if they were my own pet, I genuinely enjoy working with dogs something about it makes me feel a kind of joy nothing else can give me.
“Bethany was great to communicate with during our time away. She kept us updated on Luna with pictures. Luna seemed incredibly well taken care of and healthy on return. Would definitely recommend anyone to book Bethany.”
About: Hi everyone! I just signed up for rover and I’m super excited! I’ve had animals all my life. Big dogs, small dogs and cats. I know the responsibility that comes with them and how they need to be taken care of. In my eyes I see it as my pets being my children. I make it very apparent to clean and make sure that they are comfortable. Especially in your home. I am currently not working at the moment. So I am available anytime all the time ! I am looking for a part time job but nothing in the works yet ! I will be able to come and see your pets whenever you need. Whether it’s just for the night maybe a couple of days or just even popping in while you are working ! I do prefer to see your fur babies in your home. I think it reduces stress levels for them when they know they are in their own space and territory. But if it’s needed to be in mine that’s more than welcomed too! My space is very clean and they will have a fenced yard to fro-lick and play as much as they want to ! I do have dogs which might be a deal breaker, but I will make sure to keep your fur baby comfortable until they see you again!

Olivia is enthusiastic and committed to doing the best for your pets. My two big dogs loved her, and she handled the responsibilities of not only my dogs but an Amazon parrot, and two reef tanks. She followed my specific instructions very well. I can recommend her for any house sitting visits you may need for your dog (or other creatures!).

Amazing as everrrrr!! I’m fully convinced our cats are now excited when they see the suitcases rolled out, because it means Ichly is coming to play! Thorough, thoughtful, and always goes above n’ beyond with enrichment and detailed updates. 4 paws up. 10/10 recommend 🐾🐾

Angelina was a life saver! After another Rover cancelled on me at the last minute Angelina stepped in (over a holiday no less) she took excellent care of my sweet dog and allowed me to enjoy my trip with comfort and assurance that my dog was ok - we would love to use her again in the future

Miranda was a delight as a pet sitter. Every time she visited, she sent us photos and videos (with sound), which we really liked. Watching the videos, the cats obviously enjoyed her, wanting her attention and petting. The cats were relaxed and content when we came home, no feline complaining--our cats have no difficulty informing us when they are not happy! Miranda has a lovely personality and was very competent. Her air of competence, reliability and obvious love of pets gave us a sense of relaxation regarding our cats. This was the first time both of us had left town and they were in the house on their own. We will definitely hire her again and would highly recommend her to other pet owners.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
