“Amanda was simply amazing. I knew from the moment she replied I was making the right choice. She treated Makoa as if he were her own. Makoa is very shy and spoiled and he made his self right at home with the whole family. If you are looking for someone to take care of your baby do not pass Amanda up she is the one. She will be in communication with u along with pictures the whole time u are away. I will be using Amanda again and referring her to a few people I know that use pet sitters. Thank you Amanda for taking such good care of Makoa.”

“He’s the best, grateful he’s been available to watch my pups when I travel. My dogs love their visits, which means the world to me. Also appreciate his flexibility for my chaotic schedule.”

“Priya is an amazing sitter and took excellent care of my Pug! She is kind and professional, and made sure Matias was comfortable right from the start. The communication was great and she kept me updated throughout the stay. Highly recommend bringing any pet to Priya and I look forward to seeing her again! Thanks!!”

“Lori is professional, courteous and extremely responsive. I received pictures daily of activities and on goings with my dog. I have never boarded my 15 year old senior maltipoo before and Lori's care put me at ease while I was away. I love the service she offers of picking up and dropping off which allowed my to deal with the chaos I had to prior to helping a family member move to another state! I highly recommend her and already have her booked again real soon!”

“My first time using Rover was a wonderful experience. Even though my tiny Morkie has separation anxiety he appeared to have been quite comfortable at Andrea’s house and I felt comfortable too, getting updates with pictures regularly over the weekend we were traveling. I would definitely use Andrea again if the situation arises where we need to board our dog while we are away from home.”
“Ichly was the ABSOLUTE BEST! Right away you can tell she cares for your pet like it’s her own! She gave us daily updates and sent so many fun and cute videos/pics of the things they did together. I wholeheartedly trust her with my pets and would recommend her time and time again! Thank you Ichly!!!!”

“Carissa and her son stayed at our condo this past weekend and watched our puppy, Schuyler. Carissa did an amazing job! She was punctual, communicated with us (as needed), and left our house looking great. I know our puppy can be a handful, and Carissa and her son were great with Schuyler. I will definitely be booking Carissa in the future.”

“Nancy and Gabriel were fantastic with our miniature Schnauzer. Cane is very shy and within a day he was playing with the other dogs. Nancy even hand feed him the first day because he didn’t want to eat. Nancy was great about updated me about how Cane was doing, sending videos, pics and texts. I know Cane would be very comfortable staying with Nancy anytime. I will definitely use their services again.”

“Maria was amazing! My older dog needed some special attention and Maria went above and beyond for her. Both my girls played and loved staying with her. We look forward to working with her again.”

About: I love dogs personally and have had over ten years of dog sitting and walking as well as training through out my life. I possess skills and experiences with caring for and training puppies and younger dogs and have raised over 7 puppies myself so I am quite used to caring for pets that are learning and growing as well as potty training experience. I as well have experience caring for older and senior dogs which might need more attention and care and have had prior experience as well with my own senior dogs, so I am used to working with pets which have joint or mobility issues. I am also accustomed to caring for pets which have species need or requirements, such as taking care of very medicated animals and pets which anxiety and fear. I also have taken care of many different animals through out my life, having been raised working and volunteering at animal shelters, farms, and non profits. I am currently a student at a local college close by, so I am very available throughout the week and weekends for caring for your pets or any last minute needs or stays. I am easily able to adapt to your fur babies schedule and routine in your home making them feel as comfortable as possible. Giving care such as walks or play times for their daily exercise and comfort as well as drop by visits through out the day when ever is needed for feeding and bath room time or even just hanging out with your fur baby so they are not lonely.
“Let me start by saying that in addition to this being my first Rover experience, this was the first time my 11 year old Chloe had ever stayed away from home. While Chloe loves people, she is not dog-friendly, so boarding her has never been an option. Anytime we wanted to go away, we would try to coax family members or friends to come and stay at the house, which is never easy. Desperate for a solution, we came across Rover, and met the two most wonderful people. I am so grateful for Susan and her daughter. First of all, they had no prejudice against my sweet pit-mix, and were more than happy to schedule a meet and greet with us. From the moment I met them, I knew they would be the perfect fit for my anxious girl. Susan is so sweet, calm, and understanding. She listened to all my concerns and fears, and put me (and Chloe) right at ease. Her daughter is just as wonderful. She is so mature, well-behaved, and well-mannered. I had no doubt that Chloe would be in the best hands. We scheduled a one-night trial run, just to see how Chloe would handle being away from home. Everything between the drop-off and pick-up went flawlessly. I really appreciated the communication and pictures throughout the day, which helped alleviate my worries, and made me feel more relaxed knowing that she was being well-taken care of. Chloe was able to settle in with them nicely, and the stay was a success. Susan has been so comforting and reassuring throughout this entire process. I will definitely be booking with her again soon. I am so blessed to have found such wonderful, caring people.”

“Dominique was awesome--so attentive with Lulu! We picked her up, but when we put her in the car to go home, she jumped right out and went towards Dominique's house. I'd say that's a great indication of how much she enjoyed her stay.”

“Mariana was fantastic with Speedy!! She was very helpful, caring and provided great feedback while she had Speedy, was very responsive and took such great & loving care of her. I look forward to having her sit again soon ❤️”

“My dogs always have a great time with Patsy. She loves them and cares for them like they're her own. My senior dog takes multiple medications and requires extra care, and Patsy has the experience and huge heart to care for even the most fragile, older dog like mine. She is wonderful! Thanks, Patsy! :)”
“Was wonderful with our puppy and even helped us out last minute. Overall a great experience and sent us lots of pictures. Will definitely use again when in the Orlando area!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Rockledge
Susanna takes great care of our Golden Retriever, Stella. Susanna only takes on one client at a time which I appreciate since Stella wants to be part of a friendly pack, but the coming and going of strange dogs would be disruptive and anxiety-provoking. I appreciate Susanna’s willingness to hold the boundary of one visiting (or reconnoitering) dog at a time, which set my mind at ease.

Priya is an amazing sitter and took excellent care of my Pug! She is kind and professional, and made sure Matias was comfortable right from the start. The communication was great and she kept me updated throughout the stay. Highly recommend bringing any pet to Priya and I look forward to seeing her again! Thanks!!

We had a fantastic experience with Katie and her dog, Sam! She was incredibly thoughtful and kind every step of the way. Toby is diabetic, so he comes with a lot of instructions, and Katie handled it with ease. I felt so comfortable leaving him in her care, which was such a relief. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
