“Vikki is very accommodating and flexible; I had to change my drop-off time and pick-up time a few times due to my schedule changes, but Vikki was always pleasant in communicating with me. She seems like a very sweet woman and understood my dog really well. I would definitely like to ask her to take care of my dog again in the future.”

About: I provide personalized, attentive care and treat every pet like a member of my own family. With years 12 of experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique needs and routine. I have experience caring for playful puppies who need extra supervision, frequent potty breaks, and consistency, as well as senior dogs who benefit from a slower pace, patience, and extra comfort. I’m also comfortable administering oral and injectable medications and following detailed care instructions to ensure your pet stays healthy and on schedule. What sets me apart is the level of communication and care I provide. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates, quick responses, and the peace of mind that your pet is being cared for in a safe, loving home. Pet care is a big part of our daily routine! My husband, Isaiah, works Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and I bartend in the evenings from 4:00 PM until around 1:00 AM. Because of our opposite schedules, your dog receives plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m home during the mornings and afternoons for walks, playtime, feeding, and potty breaks before leaving for work, and Isaiah is home in the late afternoons and evenings to continue their care before I return home at night. We work together to make sure every dog stays on their normal routine with regular potty breaks, meals, exercise, and lots of love and attention. Our goal is for every pup to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home while you’re away. My home is kept clean, pet-friendly, and free of hazards to provide a safe environment. If I have multiple boarding dogs, I carefully consider each dog’s temperament and only accept pets that I know can safely coexist. If needed, dogs can be separated during meals, rest time, or whenever it’s in their best interest. I also provide regular photo and video updates because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and having fun while you’re away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable, confident, and stress-free throughout the stay.

About: Hi! We’re a husband-and-wife team who have been caring for pets for most of our lives. Between the two of us, we’ve had hands-on experience with dogs in every stage of life—from energetic puppies learning the ropes to seniors who need a slower pace and a little extra care. We truly enjoy hosting pets and making them feel safe, comfortable, and at home while their families are away. We pay close attention to routines, personalities, and comfort levels so each pet gets the care that fits them, not a one-size-fits-all approach. Our home includes a fully fenced backyard with artificial turf, which means plenty of space for running, playing, and fresh air—without the mud and mess. Whether your pet loves active playtime or prefers lounging and quiet companionship, we’re happy to match their energy. We treat every pet like part of the family and understand how important trust and peace of mind are when you’re away. We’d love to care for your pet as if they were our own. Our schedules give us a lot of flexibility when it comes to pet care. One of us works days and the other works nights, which means there is often someone home or available to check in throughout the day. This allows us to accommodate a variety of needs, including frequent potty breaks, playtime, feedings, and medications. We’re happy to work with your pet’s routine and adjust as needed to help them feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. We promise to follow your safety preferences, using a leash when needed, securing doors and taking extra precaution at all times. Your pets safety will always be a top priority for us

We would highly recommend.”

About: Having grown up surrounded by animals, caring for pets has been a lifelong passion. Over the years, I've had the joy of raising three dogs and a cat, along with other pets, giving me extensive experience in providing care to my fury friends. I understand the importance of following specific instructions to ensure your pet receives the best possible attention. Rest assured, your furry friend will never be alone for more than four hours and will enjoy plenty of walks, tailored to their needs. My home is a safe and welcoming environment where your pet can roam freely, without any interference from other pets or people. With a deep love for animals, I’m committed to giving your pet the same affection and care that I would give my own. As a recent UCF graduate currently preparing for my postgraduate program, I’m home most of the day studying—allowing me to offer pet boarding services seven days a week. This flexible schedule also allows me to give your furry friend the undivided attention and love they deserve. Rest assured, your pet will receive the highest level of care and affection during their stay with me! I live in a secure, gated apartment complex with a beautiful pond and a grassy area perfect for pet walks and playtime. With no other pets in my home, your pet will enjoy a peaceful, undisturbed stay, free to roam the apartment as they please. I’ll ensure your pet is fed and cared for exactly as instructed, with plenty of walks and outdoor time in a safe and serene environment.

I work from home and will follow your schedule to the best of my ability, so your pet will be looked after during the day! I work from home so I am available all day everyday typically. About: I’ve been taking care of my own dogs for over 15 years now. I currently have a frenchie named Arnold who is 5 years old. I’m very gentle with dogs and spoil them a lot. I’ll be able to give full attention to your dogs and keep them on their standard food schedule and potty schedule. I’ll take them for walks and play fetch. Dogs are allowed to be on furniture if its something they are allowed to do at their house. I will follow all the rules given to me and will make sure to keep your fur baby happy. I’ll keep you updated with some cure selfies from your babies. Your baby will be in good hands. :) I have my own online business so I have a flexible schedule and can stay on track of your dogs routine so they feel comfortable. My frenchie walks around freely but I also have a crate if needed. They are allowed on furniture if that is what they prefer as well.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Rockledge commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
