About: We have a 2.5 year old doodle that is super friendly and always eager to have other dogs to play with. We are doing Rover so our dog has another dog to play with from time to time. We have pet proofed our house - all food items high above, no hazardous things laying around, etc. We have a descent sized yard. I work from home full time. My husband works from home 3 days a week. One of us works days and the other works nights, which means there is often someone home or available to check in throughout the day. About: I am a retired CVT with over 25 years of experience in small animals, emergency medicine, and teaching future veterinary technician students. I retired 5 years ago and began traveling. Both myself and my husband have been pet sitting full time all over the country. We are home in Florida for an extended amount of time and wanted to expand our services locally. I am comfortable giving medications. It is important to us to maintain a consistent stress-free experience for both the pet owner as well as your family member. I am retired so my schedule is open. I do provide pet sitting via another site so I tend to book up quickly from there. I prefer when pet sitting in clients homes that they provide me with their expectations. For cats I do prefer inside cats only because I don’t want to be responsible if your indoor/outdoor cat doesn’t come home.

“I was very grateful to Christy for her warm welcome and my dogs took to her, too. We did a meet n greet, so they could sniff everything around her home for daycare, and eventually overnights. I left them for 2 hours for their first daycare, and Christy sent me pictures, asked questions and was very attentive to their needs, even with things I forgot to mention (like putting out a water dish). They were calm and content when I picked them up and I can tell Christy’s calm and friendly nature and home were just perfect for their needs. Thank you!”
