“Michelle has been taken care of our Great Dane while I have been sick. He is in love with her! She takes such good care of him. He looks forward to seeing her! You can tell she loves animals and really enjoys what she's doing. She is the only one I trust to take care of my baby boy!”

“This was our first experience with Rover, and we thought Andrea would be a good fit based on her profile. As it turned out, Andrea was a great fit to walk and accompany our elderly mom's 10-year-old Shih Tzu Poodle mix (Alex) daily. We just finished almost 6 months with Andrea and Rover! Andrea was excellent about communicating with us - we always got a notice when she picked up and then dropped off Alex, with a picture included daily. If there was a schedule change, she made it easy. An added bonus for us was that she was compassionate and gracious with our mom as she lived out her final days. Rover was a great find for us, and Andrea will be a great find for you.”

About: I am a animal lover to my core! I grew up raising dogs and cats, and am well known to friends and family as the go-to pet sitter. I have 5 star reviews on Trusted House Sitters, caring for dogs and cats across the country. I have experience handling large and aggressive dogs, as well as those small & mighty. I truly love nothing more than having the company of an animal, and will be sure your pet gets the care & love they deserve. I understand your pet is more than that, they are a member of your family & I’ll treat them as one of my own. I recently relocated to Cocoa Beach from NY, & am studying to obtain my Yoga Instructors license. My schedule is open/ flexible to your pet’s needs. Reach out & I’ll happily let you know my availability. I will be sure to give your pet extra love, so they won’t be sad while you’re away. I’ll stick to their usual feeding and exercise schedule, maybe a few extra treats to win them over:) I’m known to prefer animals over people, so they’ll easily have all my attention.
About: I was raised with multiple animals in my house (dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, ferrets, rats) and my siblings and I were required to take care of them. They’ve brought me great join and I know how special our animals are to us. My experience is with very specific breeds as well, from hairless cats and Bull terriers, to puppies and elderly cats. I currently coach CrossFit about 3 days a week, and recently have been dog/cat/house sitting for a few of the members of my gym. It’s been such a joy that I want to do it more! I will abide by the rules given to me per the owner. I will never assume cats are allowed outside, or dogs shouldn’t be on a leash. I might spoil the animals a little more than the owner, but only if given permission.
“Brook was an amazing dog walker, making my dog comfortable even when she can be a little defensive. They kept me updated in detail and was a great friend to my dog. I will definitely be using them again!”

“Megs was very quick to respond and gave my high energy dog a nice long walk for a break while I was in the office! She gave notes about how the walk went and sent pictures 😊 Recommend booking with Megs!”

About: As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member. Whether your dog needs walks, playtime, companionship, feeding, medication reminders, or simply extra attention and affection, I will care for them as if they were my own. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners peace of mind. I am an elementary school teacher currently enjoying summer break, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive care, walks, playtime, and companionship for your pets. During the school year, I am available after 3:30 p.m., as well as on weekends and school holidays. I am dependable, responsive, and committed to making sure your pet receives the care and attention they deserve. As a lifelong dog owner, I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust. I provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment where pets are treated like family. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and routines to help pets feel comfortable and secure. My goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and well cared for while giving you peace of mind when you're away.
About: I've had many years of experience taking care of dogs. Aside from being the primary caretaker of my family's pets (two beagles, one pug, one bulldog), I've also fostered five pups in total, included two who were two weeks old! In addition to that, I've volunteered at shelters as well, helping to clean, walk, and keep the pups cozy and happy in their spaces. I really love caring for animals and would love the opportunity to care for more! I'm currently doing my final semesters of college online, and since I am taking only two classes, I have ample time to care for your pet! My classes are completely asynchronous so I am available all day, every day of the week and my hours are completely flexible. I can care for pets by keeping their daily routine as similar to how it is when you are home with them. I can walk and feed them at the times they usually do these activities, and I can play with them as much as they'd like!
“Lily was amazing! She came for a meet and greet before the schedule walk and my puppy fell in love with her! she is very responsive and willing to work with my work schedule! She took him for a nice walk while i was at work and sent lots of updates during her time with my pup!”

“Five stars for sure! I have used Ariana many times to drop-in, walk, and board my dog. She’s simply amazing to have around to walk my baby! She is extremely reliable and I trust her with Kimmy. I can’t say enough good things about her.”

About: It all starts with love and respect for each dog’s personality and routine. While I mainly focus on walks and occasional drop-ins, I make sure every dog feels safe, seen, and well cared for during our time together. I’m reliable, calm, and attentive to details like leash safety, hydration, and energy levels—whether your dog prefers a brisk walk or a slower sniff-and-stroll. I’m comfortable following specific instructions, reinforcing basic leash manners, and providing gentle care for puppies or seniors who just need patience and consistency. You’ll always get clear communication and updates so you know your dog is in kind, capable hands. I currently work part time locally but on the days I work I can easily come home on lunch break for any pet care needs. I have a designated room for kitties to feel comfortable with lots of toys, beds/blankets, a litter box, and a fresh water fountain. It is separated from my cat so that they don't need to be afraid and can remain calm even though they're in a new environment.
About: I have been taking care of my own and family and neighbors animals all my life. Dogs, cats, chickens, and even a bearded dragon, I retired from Verizon at 56 and now I would like to spend my days with animals! I go back and forth from Pennsylvania (where my kids and grandchildren are) and our house in Cocoa beach. I am here about 75% of the time through fall and winter and a little less than summer but when I’m here I have my days free I can give your fur baby all the love they need while you are not able to in a clean and safe environment. I have a fenced in yard if they need to come to my house.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cocoa Beach
Now that we're back and settled, we just wanted to send a huge thank you for the absolutely wonderful care Michelle gave our fur babies, Lou and Maggie, while we were out of town! Seriously, it made our trip so much more enjoyable knowing they were in such good hands. Lou, being the nervous little guy he is, can be a real handful sometimes, but you clearly have a fantastic way with him. It's truly incredible how you manage to bring out his calmest side; that peace of mind you gave us was priceless. And our sweet Maggie girl, who just loves attention, clearly adored having you around and being showered with your kindness. We feel incredibly lucky to have found someone who connects so beautifully with their unique personalities and treats them with so much love and patience. Michelle is the best!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
