“Jonathan and Ally were such a good fit for my Aussie/Heeler, Kovu. I felt good seeing they had watched other high energy dogs, and while Kovu is super sweet, she is very timid at first. She settled right in, and I knew she felt safe and at home when they shared that she slept in bed with them. They have a fenced in turf area, and a separate potty area and plenty of fresh water out for the pups. From the first message, they responded so quick to my booking. Less than an hour, they agreed to watch her. When my flight was delayed and I had to push her drop off a bit later than anticipated, they were accommodating and quick to message me back, same with pickup as well when I decided to come earlier than my anticipated time. If I was local, I would 100% use them again and so appreciated my baby girl feeling so welcomed and safe in their home.”
About: Hi! I'm Dorothy. I've always loved animals, but I've definitely become a cat person over the years. I love getting to know each cat's personality and letting them warm up to me at their own pace. Some want to play, some want to chat, and some are happiest just having a quiet person nearby—and I'm happy with all of the above. I also enjoy dog walks and drop-in visits. Spending time with animals is one of my favorite ways to unwind after work, and I love getting outside with an excited pup. Pet sitting has become a family business for us. My two teenage daughters work with me, and I love that we've been able to build something together. My oldest is 17 and has her own repeat clients, and my youngest is 15 and helps with visits and walks. Depending on schedules, you may meet one of them too. We all genuinely enjoy caring for animals, and I wouldn't trust just anyone with my clients' pets. This year we said goodbye to my sweet Shih Tzu, Gizmo, and I still think about him often. These days our house is ruled by six cats (ranging from kittens to seniors) and my youngest daughter's adorable Shih Tzu puppy, who keeps us all entertained. Casey looked out for me on short notice over Easter weekend. I was new to the app and traveling on the road. From the minute, we arrived until we picked him up the next day I can’t imagine anyone looking out for my dog in a better way. The outdoor area for the dogs to get loose was beautiful.
