It was our first time using Rover to find a dog sitter. We had a more peculiar situation with a larger size timid dog. It helped knowing she was okay with just sitting only our dog for a few days since it seemed other sitters sometimes sat multiple dogs at once. A sitter with a fenced in yard was something we wanted to have, since in case walking our timid dog potentially was a challenge, the fenced in yard was an alternative for him doing his business. He warmed up well enough though. She was local to us so we didn’t have to drive too far. It was awesome she accepted a bigger dog since some sitters don’t. She had competitive rates at the time of listing in comparison to other Rover sitters that we were looking at. Overall if needed we could see ourselves requesting future bookings again.”

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I've been independently responsible for my own dogs for the past 11 years. I've cared for dogs ranging from small breeds to 75+ lb dogs of my own, with experience around dogs over 100 lbs as well. I've raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years and understand how much their needs, personalities and routines can change along the way. My experience includes daily walks and exercise, feeding, bathing and grooming, oral and topical medications, vet appointments, and caring for an aging dog through serious illness. Most importantly, I understand that someone's dog isn't just a pet. They're family. I'll treat yours with the same patience, attention and care I treat my own family. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits and house sitting throughout the week. I’m available most mornings, afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends, and I’m happy to work with you to maintain the routine your pet is already comfortable with. I provide care primarily in your pet’s own home, where they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep doors, gates and leashes secure, and communicate regularly with updates and photos. I’m also happy to take the time to learn your pet’s individual personality, routine and boundaries before providing care.
