About: Hi! I'm Dorothy. I've always loved animals, but I've definitely become a cat person over the years. I love getting to know each cat's personality and letting them warm up to me at their own pace. Some want to play, some want to chat, and some are happiest just having a quiet person nearby—and I'm happy with all of the above. I also enjoy dog walks and drop-in visits. Spending time with animals is one of my favorite ways to unwind after work, and I love getting outside with an excited pup. Pet sitting has become a family business for us. My two teenage daughters work with me, and I love that we've been able to build something together. My oldest is 17 and has her own repeat clients, and my youngest is 15 and helps with visits and walks. Depending on schedules, you may meet one of them too. We all genuinely enjoy caring for animals, and I wouldn't trust just anyone with my clients' pets. This year we said goodbye to my sweet Shih Tzu, Gizmo, and I still think about him often. Susan was a star with Mia during this stay, especially since she got sick and had to be rushed to the emergency vet. Considering we were traveling, it was really stressful for us knowing Mia was not doing well, but Susan really kept us updated and I could tell she really cares for Mia. We’re so grateful!
