Tamara was great with both of my dogs and provided daily updates with photos. I have not needed or used an in house sitter before, but with my first meeting with Tamara, I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation. I will definitely request her help again. Highly recommend!!”

About: Hi! My name is Heidi, and I’m a caring, reliable pet lover who truly enjoys spending time with animals of all kinds. I understand how important it is to feel confident and comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits well into my schedule after 3:00 PM on most weekdays. Mondays are limited due to working late, but I have open and flexible availability on weekends for walks and drop-in visits. When it comes to your pet, I am flexible and happy to accommodate their individual needs. We can play fetch in the yard or go for walks, as long as there are detailed instructions for your pet’s care. I am willing to help in any way I can to ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for.

“this young lady watched our two dachshunds overnight in our home. one of our dachshunds is handicapped with some paraplegic issues which affect her ability to control her bladder. We keep her in a doggie diaper when inside. she also needs to be lifted up and down so no jumping, stairs, etc. Lyris did an excellent job. she arrived on time, displayed a true caring attitude towards both our pets and us. We returned home to a clean house and two happy dogs. Will definitely call on her again...and again.”

About: I have had a love for animals at a very young age. I was president of our local veterinarian club for 2 years in high school when I was considering a career choice. I have always had a pet to care for in my life. At one point I had a total of eight to care for in my home. Presently I have four, three are rescues and they are my heart. I would love to help others that are not able to stay at home and provide them with assurance that their precious pet is receiving quality care. I would love to check on your pet or take them for a walk while you are away or at work providing you with comfort and providing them with exercise, love and interaction.

About: While I’m new to Rover, I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have always been a big dog lover. In 2022, my family got our dog Roxi, who is like my best friend. With Roxi, I’ve been fully involved in everything, walking her, feeding her, training her, and making sure she stays active and happy. I’ve also grown up helping to look after family dogs when relatives go away, so I’m used to different personalities and routines. I’m originally from Ireland and recently moved to Florida after completing my MBA at Marshall University in West Virginia. I now coach youth soccer, so I’m very active, responsible, and used to being around people (and animals) all the time. Moving to the U.S. has been a big change for me, and being away from my family and my own dog has definitely made me miss them a lot, and it’s made me appreciate even more how much I love being around dogs every day. I’d say I’m quite laid-back, reliable, and easy to get along with. I like being outdoors, staying active, and I’m always up for a walk or keeping a dog company rather than just sitting around. I’m also very respectful of people’s homes and routines, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I know how much dogs mean to their owners because mine means everything to me, so I always treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. I’m happy to send updates and photos as well, so owners feel completely comfortable while they’re away. Right now, I coach soccer in the evenings during the week and sometimes on weekends, usually for a couple of hours. Outside of that, my schedule is very flexible. I’m generally available in the mornings, afternoons, and often evenings for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. My coaching hours are not long, so I’m able to work around pet care easily and adjust my schedule when needed. I take care of pets in their own homes so they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I make sure they’re well looked after with things like feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, and giving medication if needed. I also keep things clean and stick to their usual routine as much as possible. I always spend time with the pets too, whether that’s playing with them or just keeping them company so they don’t feel lonely while you’re away. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how they’re doing. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for the whole time.

About: I treat every pet like my own, giving them attention, patience, and love. I'm reliable, detail-oriented, and make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. I have takin care of all sorts of different pets including, birds, dogs, cats, lizards etc.. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to consistently provide reliable pet care throughout the week. I make time daily for visits, feeding, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable and safe. I always prioritize safety and comfort when caring for pets. I follow each owner's instructions closely, keep a clean and calm environment, and stress-free. I pay attention to behavior, ensure fresh food and water, and provide a safe, supervised space at all times. When I sit pets at the owners home I also make sure to do some cleaning before I leave to make sure the parents of the pet baby I am taking care of is nice and clean for them to relax when they get home.
