About: I’ve always grown up with dogs but have been dog sitting for several years now. At home my family has two very high-energy dogs so I know what it takes to keep them occupied and exercised. We can have lots of play time if that’s what your dog enjoys or just hangout together around the house if that’s more their speed. You can guarantee on receiving updates and photos of your dog while away if all the fun things we are doing! We will do a long walk or run or playtime in the morning before it’s too hot out. Throughout the day we will have outside time and can do shorter walks or go on adventures together and in the evening another long walk or playtime! My schedule is super flexible. I follow your care instructions so the dog has the same rules and routines while you’re away. I want your dog to be comfortable and have fun while you’re away so you don’t have to worry.
“Destiny was amazing with our dogs! We have 3 dogs which can be a handful at times but she took great care of them. Put my mind at ease day 1 of our trip. Highly recommend and will be booking again in future!”

“Kyrstyn was an amazing pet sitter!! I needed someone on a very short notice and she was so accommodating to our family. Our dogs and cats loved her!! She took excellent care of them and was very communicative and sent pictures every day. We would absolutely use her again on the next time we needed a sitter.”
“This is the first time we have used a dog sitter. Previously we had always used relatives to watch our dogs. Since we moved that was not an option. Tamara did a fantastic job taking care of our shy dog. She was able to gain Mia’s trust very quickly. I would definitely use her in the future and would highly recommend her.”

“Amazing! Sophia was absolutely fabulous. She kept us updated with pictures and gave us great feedback on how Ricky did while we were gone. Truly the best care for our dog ever! So grateful. Thank you Sophia!!!!!!”

“Mindy was wonderful! At our meet and greet she was so organized. Wrote everything down about my dogs needs. When she left I felt so comfortable having her in my home watching my pups. Mindy watched them over the 4th weekend, I knew how one would act cause we've been through fireworks for 6 years but it was the first for my high anxiety German shepherd/Belgian Malinois that I adopted 5 months ago. Well I guess he didn't like them to much, but she was there trying to calm him down the whole time. Mindy kept me updated and let me know when he finally settled down. I couldn't be happier for the care my River and Rumor received. I highly highly recommend Mindy. .”

About: We tailor each visit to your dog’s specific needs, whether it’s sticking to a strict medication schedule, following a specific feeding routine, or just spending extra cuddle time with a shy pup My husband Ron works from home and so your pet is never left alone. I'm home evenings for walks, playtime, feeding, or just hanging out! We have no other pets, so yours will receive a world of attention. Your needs and instruction will becomes our mandate and with a fenced yard, you will have a carefree relaxing time away. Can send pics of your pet on demand
“Ash did an amazing job keeping me posted about my pups! I felt so much relief having them in her care while I was on vacation. You can tell she is truly an animal lover. 10/10 would use her services again!”
“Benjamin is that dream dog person that you always hope to receive when you book a sitter! He went far and above expectations and my pups fell in love with him. I will certainly be booking him again and again!!”

“Shelby was awesome she took care of my 3 little dogs. I have to say she passed the test with the little chihuahua that is scared of everything and he ended up cuddling with her. Shelby took care of the trash, mail and the laundry for the dogs before she left. She also sent me pictures and responded to all my texts. Hopefully she is available for next time.”

“Zed enjoyed his staycation immensely. He was spoiled rotten and got to do all the fun things. Now I wonder if he's secretly hoping I'll leave again, which is better than him getting depressed when I'm gone. Communication was good and the house is just as I left it.”

“Alexis went above and beyond when i needed her the most. Alexis was amazing with my animals during an incredibly stressful time. My house was on the market and the whole household was on edge, but Alexis handled it all with so much care. My older dog needs daily medication and extra support, and she was incredibly attentive and gentle with her. My younger dog can be wary of new people, but he loved her from the moment they met — which says everything. Even my cats adored her. One of my cats usually hides from everyone and wouldn't go near my old roommates, but he was cuddling with Alexis and letting her pick him up by the end. I was shocked. On top of that, she was so respectful of my home being on the market. She kept everything spotless for showings and made a stressful situation feel manageable. If you want someone who will treat your pets like family and handle your home with real care, book Alexis. I'm so grateful for her and am definitely using her again in the future!”

About: I was raised with multiple animals in my house (dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, ferrets, rats) and my siblings and I were required to take care of them. They’ve brought me great join and I know how special our animals are to us. My experience is with very specific breeds as well, from hairless cats and Bull terriers, to puppies and elderly cats. I currently coach CrossFit about 3 days a week, and recently have been dog/cat/house sitting for a few of the members of my gym. It’s been such a joy that I want to do it more! I will abide by the rules given to me per the owner. I will never assume cats are allowed outside, or dogs shouldn’t be on a leash. I might spoil the animals a little more than the owner, but only if given permission.
“Aramie was great with my 2 pets. They were well loved amen care of for our 15 days away. I would highly recommend Aramie, she keeps you informed and is trustworthy. I cannot thank her enough for giving me a piece of mind while out of the country.”
About: I’ve been caring for pets professionally for many years. In my 20s and 30s, I owned and operated All Paws Pet Sitting Services in South Florida while also working for VCA Animal Hospital. After pursuing a successful corporate career, I’m excited to return to my pet care roots and bring that same level of dependable, compassionate care to families here on the Space Coast. I love caring for both furry and scaly family members. Dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, and other exotic pets are all welcome. I also have the support of my partner, who has years of hands-on experience caring for exotic reptiles and animals and is just as passionate about dogs as I am. Together, we understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and we’re committed to providing safe, reliable, and loving care while you’re away. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, a senior companion, or a special-needs reptile, you can count on attentive care, regular updates, and the peace of mind that your pets are being treated like family. Bonus: I have professional experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and other exotic pets—something that’s hard to find on Rover. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work remotely with a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide dependable visits, walks, feedings, medications, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays with advance notice. Caring for animals has always been a passion, and I’m excited to make it a regular part of my life here on the Space Coast. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their schedule, personality, favorite activities, and any special needs before you leave. I provide plenty of love, playtime, exercise, fresh food and water, medications if needed, and lots of updates with photos so you can relax while you’re away. I respect your home as if it were my own and always make sure doors, gates, and enclosures are secure. With my background owning a professional pet sitting business and working at VCA Animal Hospital, you can feel confident your pets are in experienced, caring hands.
“We had a fantastic experience with our Iyris! She took such great care of our two dogs and kept us updated the whole time with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved when we got home. It’s obvious she truly cares about animals and go the extra mile to make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. We would absolutely trust Iyris again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“This is the first time we have used Jen for dog sitting and we were very pleased. She sent us photos of Dunkin throughout the week and he looked very relaxed. If she had any questions about Dunkin's care and/or the house, she reached out and texted me. Jen made this a very relaxing vacation.”

About: I have been a dog owner my whole life, and have been pet sitting since I was a teenager. I have experience with puppies, older dogs, special needs (lots of medication) dogs, and working with multiple dogs at one time. My favorite part about working with dogs is being able to run and play with them. I am available early mornings and late nights. I also love trail walking/running, so I'll make sure your dog gets the exercise they need! I follow a rigorous routine of walking/running with my own dogs, and will take the same care with yours! Based on your pets exercise level, we can walk/run for up to an hour as needed. Caring for other dogs involves building trust through playtime, walks, and of course, treats! Making sure your dog is comfortable on walks and overnights is the top most priority.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Indialantic on Rover is $60 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Indialantic walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Indialantic maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Indialantic choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
