About: Hi! I'm Katie. I am a Certified Vet Tech who can't wait to meet your fur babies! I have always been an animal lover and have taken care of many pets for friends and family over the years. This is why I went to school to become a Veterinary Technician. I graduated from Vet Tech school in 2015 and obtained my board certification in 2016. I have been working with dogs and cats in small animal practices for 8 years. During this time I have gained experience and knowledge about animals with many different medical and behavioral needs. I am comfortable medicating and taking care of your little ones who require special attention. I am happy to help with any of your pets who may be fearful of new people or situations. I understand that our pets are our family and your pets safety and comfort will always be my number one priority. I am currently a stay-at-home mom with two first graders. My availability is during the hours they are in school, from 8:00am - 2pm Monday-Thursday, and 8:00am -1pm on Fridays. I am willing to be flexible and would be happy to work with your schedule to fit you and your pet's needs. I have two dogs and two kitties of my own, so I understand the importance of having their needs met while you are away. I can visit and provide play time, feeding, medicating, bathing & nail trims, scooping litter boxes and walks. If your dogs need to spend the day here with me, I have a fenced in back yard and two very friendly Boston Terriers to keep them company. I can't wait to meet you and your furry friends!
