About: Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I always had a cat companion—or two—and I was often the child bringing home another cat in need. Luckily, my uncle was a veterinarian! That behavior continued into adulthood. Over the years, I’ve welcomed and cared for several lonely cats looking for love, care and companionship. I was incredibly lucky to mother Maia, my first cat as an adult, and then my soul sister LadyBug. Each lived a long, full, love-filled life. Caring for them through their senior years gave me hands-on experience with medications, special diets, changing needs, and the extra patience and tenderness older cats deserve. After my sweet LadyBug crossed the rainbow bridge in 2022 at age 17, I was heartbroken and deeply missing her—and cat energy in general. I began volunteering with HOPE for Brevard Cat Rescue in Eau Gallie. My hands-on involvement there has broadened my cat-care experience tremendously. The many different purr-sonalities I’ve met have taught me to pay close attention to expressions, body language and other cues, and to meet each cat exactly where they are—whether they want playtime, cuddles, quiet companionship or a respectful human who understands that today may be a “please admire me from across the room” kind of day. And, of course, that’s also how Harpurr and Fraya eventually became part of my family! Meowdy! I work remotely as a market researcher in Cocoa Beach, which gives me flexibility to incorporate local kitty visits into my daily routine. I’m also the proud cat mom of two four-year-old rescue girls, Harpurr and Fraya, so cat care is already very much part of my everyday life! I’d love to expand my local cat community connections by getting to know—and caring for—your purr-babies. Because I work from home, I can offer dependable scheduling and am comfortable working with your cat’s established feeding, medication and care routines. I’m also a passionate gardener and am happy to bring in mail/packages and provide basic plant care during visits when requested. Have an especially large or needy plant family? We can talk about that too! :) My goal is to care for your cat the way they want to be cared for—not the way I think a cat “should” want to be cared for. I’ll follow your feeding, water, litter and medication instructions carefully and spend time with your kitty based on their personality and comfort level. That might mean playtime and cuddles, brushing, chatting with them while they supervise me, or simply offering quiet companionship from their preferred distance. I pay attention to the little things too—appetite, litter box habits, behavior and anything that seems different from what you’ve told me is normal. And because I know how much I would want to know how Harpurr and Fraya were doing, you can expect photos and updates from me during your time away.

About: I've had pets for many years now, ranging from cats and dogs to fish. I've had experience caring for both senior dogs and cats, as well as kittens and puppies, and pretty much everything in between. I've been able to break through with very shy animals, and am always up for a challenge! I'm a college student, and have classes mostly in the mornings, sometimes running just until noon. I volunteer throughout the week, but I am willing to work around those dates for your pet. I am willing to work with whatever guidelines you may have to keep you pet safe, regarding anything from crating, leashing, outside time, or any other regulations you may have in place.

About: I've grown up in a house with animals constantly. At 1 point, having more than 10 animals in a house. We had cats, pigs, dogs and fish. As well as some reptiles and ferrets. It's genuingly one of the most enjoyable things in the world playing and figuring out what animals love. Especially as they get to know, you and warm up to you. I currently am in full-time school so a good portion of my time is spent studying or working. My schedule right now is flexible because I'm in between jobs. I'm free to go over to anyone's house and I am willing to carry first aid kit and have a vehicle in case of emergencies, like they need to go to an ER. I have a flexible schedule for anyone willing as well as know basic wound care and distribution of medication as well. If I had to take care of quite a bit of sick animals and I know the routine of keeping track of symptoms and documentation.

About: I’m 17 years old! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently care for my own, so I understand their needs inside and out. I’m patient, reliable, and make every pet feel safe and loved. Currently, I have classes from: Monday and Wednesday: 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30 AM - 9:20 AM and 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM Friday: 11:30 AM - 2:15 PM I’m free on the weekends unless stated otherwise. I make sure that your pet is as comfortable as possible. I follow all instructions carefully so you and your pet can feel at ease.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid. I have been thinking about getting a home partner for while, but at the same time I kinda enjoy being the cool uncle. Frequently, I take care of friends dogs when they go to enjoy their vacation. Usually I walk them three to four times a day, play with them a lot and feed them the usual amount, so they feel like in their own vacation as I like to say. Can guarantee they leave really happy. I really feel I like I can take care of somebody else’s dogs the same way while at the same time I enjoy having a companion! My goal is to give you peace of mind and lots of love to your dog. 😄 I work 40 a week but I lived 15min away from work that allows me to come and go. Usually telework on Fridays. Can stay home on the weekends if necessary. Don’t have a yard but can take them for walks many times a day. I have two bedroom apt and one of them is empty that can be used. Plus I’ll allow them anywhere in the apartment.

About: I have loved animals since my first day on Earth, and pets have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up around animals has taught me how important patience, attention, and compassion are when caring for someone’s beloved pet. I am currently fully focused on school and taking online classes which gives me great flexibility with my free time. I can always adjust to your preferred schedule. Attentiveness is key with pets in the home. Whether an owner prefers to have their pet roam free or be crated, I am comfortable with both. The goal is to make the pet feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 12 years old. Friends, family and neighbors have relied on me to check in, feed, and provide other basic care for their pets while away. I have experience in cutting cats claws, some experience in training dogs and giving them baths. I have also been working at an Equine Assisted Therapy Ranch where I not only participate in helping therapy sessions but I also help care for the horses to make sure they are groomed, their stalls are clean, and they have enough food and water. I’m currently a graduate student at Florida International University pursuing my Masters in Professional Counseling. The program is online which means I’m available throughout the week expect for Tuesdays. I make sure to introduce myself to any animal whether it’s a dog or cat first. When I enter a clients home I also don’t pressure the animal to be with me. I allow them to take their time to get to know me. I would do all the house keeping such as daily walks, litter box clean up, and feeding before personally spending time with the animals by playing.
