“I really appreciated the love and care Lauren provide. I left for 3 days out of town and enjoyed her pictures and had a good peace of mind. Will definitely keep using her services,”

“Bethany was absolutely amazing with my dog, Cleo! She was very communicative the entire time and sent tons of photos, which eased so much of my anxiety while I was visiting friends and spending the whole weekend at Disney. She did everything I asked her to do and went above and beyond. Since I wasn’t from the area and couldn’t do a proper meet and greet, she even offered to FaceTime beforehand which I appreciated so much. Her thoughtfulness and reliability made the entire experience stress-free! I’m SO thankful for her and would highly, highly recommend booking Bethany!”

“Lori is the best! Excellent communication skills, she kept us informed throughout her visit. We will be asking her again soon to watch our close family member Cody (Golden Retriever)??”

“I was very nervous about leaving my blind 16 yo kitty with Chronic Kidney Disease. I canceled my last vacation 4 months ago because he was declining. Just prior to this very short trip, he had barely been eating. Isabella followed my special feeding instructions perfectly. I came home to a kitty who was very happy to see me and vice versa. Thank you Isabella!”

“Wonderful service from an incredibly sweet sitter. The photos were great and Katie took the time to play with them inside and outside. She medicated my older dog every day and kept me posted on the emotionally needy cat. I know the babies enjoyed themselves!”

About: I worked at the dog spot hotel for years handling several kinds of dogs behaviors, food, medicines, baths, exercise, etc. I also have owned 3 of my own dogs and taken several training courses with a certified dog trainer for behavior and commands. I’m currently working a part time serving position, so I will have a lot of time to play and take care of all of your dogs. I come home on breaks as I live right down the road and my hours aren’t long at all. I am also already hanging out with a foster dog when he needs me. I have a fenced in backyard as well as a screened in porch to take your dog outside to potty in the rain if they get nervous. I have a spacious home for roaming and tile floors perfect for cleaning up any accidents! I have a 8 year old yorkie mix at my home too that will keep your pets company and is great with all size dogs. I also have reliable AC in this florida heat to keep your puppies comfortable. I am able to lift 70 pounds on my own at least, in case of an emergency if I have to handle your dog from another dog.
About: I've had pets for many years now, ranging from cats and dogs to fish. I've had experience caring for both senior dogs and cats, as well as kittens and puppies, and pretty much everything in between. I've been able to break through with very shy animals, and am always up for a challenge! I'm a college student, and have classes mostly in the mornings, sometimes running just until noon. I volunteer throughout the week, but I am willing to work around those dates for your pet. I am willing to work with whatever guidelines you may have to keep you pet safe, regarding anything from crating, leashing, outside time, or any other regulations you may have in place.
“Zarah is amazing with my 65 lb American Bully! She is always on time, available with my last minute schedule, and most importantly amazing with my pup! I am a crazy dog mom so I have extremely high standards. I always trust her looking after him and know he’s in great hands! Highly recommend!”

“Jennifer is terrific with our cats Bob and Ted. She is responsible and reliable, and they didn't seem to miss us at all. Bob and Ted look forward to future visits from Jennifer.”

“Chrystal was amazing! We needed a sitter last minute and she was so flexible with helping us out. Each visit she provided multiple pictures and details about how each kitty was doing. One of my cats is a little shy and salty and Chrystal did a great job tailoring the care to her! We definitely will be using her again!”

“My Yorkie is a rescue and he has stress/anxiety and separation issues. I had him only a few months when I began having Sarilyne coming to my house while I was working. Sarilyne was able to establish trust and security to my dog immediately. She is a very sweet, kind and patient and punctual person who I trust to come into my home to care for dog.”

About: I was raised with multiple animals in my house (dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, ferrets, rats) and my siblings and I were required to take care of them. They’ve brought me great join and I know how special our animals are to us. My experience is with very specific breeds as well, from hairless cats and Bull terriers, to puppies and elderly cats. I currently coach CrossFit about 3 days a week, and recently have been dog/cat/house sitting for a few of the members of my gym. It’s been such a joy that I want to do it more! I will abide by the rules given to me per the owner. I will never assume cats are allowed outside, or dogs shouldn’t be on a leash. I might spoil the animals a little more than the owner, but only if given permission.
“Brianna is an amazing caretaker! Doc loved her so much and she always did a great job with all walks and drop-in visits. Her love and care for our boy was greatly appreciated. We can’t wait to book her for future care!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
