“Taylor has been absolutely fantastic with our dog, we’d love to keep having her walk him if she was not moving. He’s even better about letting her put on his shoes than he is about letting us! I would absolutely recommend Taylor to anybody looking for someone to take care of their pup.”

About: I've had many years of experience taking care of dogs. Aside from being the primary caretaker of my family's pets (two beagles, one pug, one bulldog), I've also fostered five pups in total, included two who were two weeks old! In addition to that, I've volunteered at shelters as well, helping to clean, walk, and keep the pups cozy and happy in their spaces. I really love caring for animals and would love the opportunity to care for more! I'm currently doing my final semesters of college online, and since I am taking only two classes, I have ample time to care for your pet! My classes are completely asynchronous so I am available all day, every day of the week and my hours are completely flexible. I can care for pets by keeping their daily routine as similar to how it is when you are home with them. I can walk and feed them at the times they usually do these activities, and I can play with them as much as they'd like!
About: I've had pets for many years now, ranging from cats and dogs to fish. I've had experience caring for both senior dogs and cats, as well as kittens and puppies, and pretty much everything in between. I've been able to break through with very shy animals, and am always up for a challenge! I'm a college student, and have classes mostly in the mornings, sometimes running just until noon. I volunteer throughout the week, but I am willing to work around those dates for your pet. I am willing to work with whatever guidelines you may have to keep you pet safe, regarding anything from crating, leashing, outside time, or any other regulations you may have in place.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals for the past 10 years. I have pets of my own so I know how it feels to leave your babies at home. I love walking and playing with all animals! I’m a college student getting my bachelors degree but my classes are online. I am very flexible and willing to do almost and day or time! I am very active and fun but I also know when to relax. If your pet is high energy I’m down to go on a run and if you pet is a couch potato I’ll turn on a movie a cuddle up with them!
About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I have a Great Pyrenees of my own, so I'm comfortable caring for large, powerful breeds that need confidence, patience, and consistency. I also have experience with Pit Bulls and understand that every dog is unique and deserves individualized care based on their personality and needs. Whether your dog is energetic, laid-back, shy, or strong on the leash, I focus on providing safe, dependable, and loving care. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away. Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule because I own and operate my own online businesses, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I can often accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Because I set my own hours, I'm able to provide reliable care and give pets the time and attention they deserve rather than trying to fit them around a traditional 9-to-5 job. My flexibility also makes it easier to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I'm happy to meet whatever your pet's needs are. Whether that means feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, administering medication (if needed), or simply providing companionship, I'll follow your instructions carefully to help keep your pet comfortable and stress-free. I believe consistency is important, so I'll do my best to maintain your pet's normal routine while you're away. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care that I would my own, and I'm always happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: I have taken care of puppies since they were born. I helped my second dog through her birth! If you need assistance with bottle feeding, or taking care of newborns I am well experienced. I have also pet sit for friends and neighbors as well. I am responsible for all the dog walking in the house! I currently have a Dogo Argentine so size is not a worry for me! I am currently home for the summer from college! Open schedule whenever you need! I am also available on short notice, and overnight if you need me! I am very happy to cuddle with your pet, or leave them alone if they prefer. I am always down to play fetch, or go on a quick walk. Even if he or she has a weird routine, I willing to be a little silly if that’s what makes them comfortable. I don’t want to disrupt their natural routine!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
