It was our first time using Rover to find a dog sitter. We had a more peculiar situation with a larger size timid dog. It helped knowing she was okay with just sitting only our dog for a few days since it seemed other sitters sometimes sat multiple dogs at once. A sitter with a fenced in yard was something we wanted to have, since in case walking our timid dog potentially was a challenge, the fenced in yard was an alternative for him doing his business. He warmed up well enough though. She was local to us so we didn’t have to drive too far. It was awesome she accepted a bigger dog since some sitters don’t. She had competitive rates at the time of listing in comparison to other Rover sitters that we were looking at. Overall if needed we could see ourselves requesting future bookings again.”

About: Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I always had a cat companion—or two—and I was often the child bringing home another cat in need. Luckily, my uncle was a veterinarian! That behavior continued into adulthood. Over the years, I’ve welcomed and cared for several lonely cats looking for love, care and companionship. I was incredibly lucky to mother Maia, my first cat as an adult, and then my soul sister LadyBug. Each lived a long, full, love-filled life. Caring for them through their senior years gave me hands-on experience with medications, special diets, changing needs, and the extra patience and tenderness older cats deserve. After my sweet LadyBug crossed the rainbow bridge in 2022 at age 17, I was heartbroken and deeply missing her—and cat energy in general. I began volunteering with HOPE for Brevard Cat Rescue in Eau Gallie. My hands-on involvement there has broadened my cat-care experience tremendously. The many different purr-sonalities I’ve met have taught me to pay close attention to expressions, body language and other cues, and to meet each cat exactly where they are—whether they want playtime, cuddles, quiet companionship or a respectful human who understands that today may be a “please admire me from across the room” kind of day. And, of course, that’s also how Harpurr and Fraya eventually became part of my family!

I am able to lift 70 pounds on my own at least, in case of an emergency if I have to handle your dog from another dog.

About me: At the age of five, I bought a dog encyclopedia and memorized every dog breed in the book. Schedule: It is a part of my daily life. The first thing I do when I wake is let the dogs out and feed them. And letting them out for their final potty break is the last thing I do before going to sleep. Safety, trust, & environment: Dogs are allowed on the furniture in my house. While I have a spare room that is dedicated to the dogs I care for (filled with dog toys and beds), they are also entitled to free reign in my home if they are able to safely handle that.

About: I've grown up with dogs and other animals almost my whole life! I've watched dogs for friends and family, and dogs of all sizes! I love each and every pet I meet, and have a beloved little dog of my own! I believe each and every pet has their own personality, and each deserve their own unique love, care, and quality time. From big, small, old and young, I will take care of your pet as if they were my very own! I am currently not employed in a work setting, but do work on my side business as a crocheter part time, so I will have plenty of time for your fur babies! My schedule is very flexible, so I can work with your schedule too! I have a partially fenced yard, with one small side not fenced, so taking dogs out on a leash is no problem for me! In home there are no breakable items within reach of any sized pet, and no harmful items within reach either. My super comfy couch and bed is pet friendly so your fur babies can rest their heads wherever they would like! If going for a walk, I live on a road that stretches almost a mile long with a sidewalk on both sides. If in the clients home, the house will be respected and any notes or rules will be followed (ex. House codes and gate codes, potty breaks outside, walks, any needs of the pet). If a pet needs medication, assistance or any other specific care, I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is healthy and happy!

About: I’d love to watch your pups at my house or at yours! *your dog MUST be crated trained to stay at my house* I have two dogs of my own who LOVE other dogs. We have a fully fenced in yard, so they get lots of exercise daily. I work from home, and can take the dogs out as much as possible during the day. They are hardly left alone! I work from home full time, so I am able to care for your pet during the day at anytime! I can take them on walks, drop in just to say hi, and do feedings. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs at home to keep your dog company! I can easily crate your dog as well. My dogs are crated when I leave the house. I know how to administer insulin, as my parent’s dog is diabetic and I have given her the shot many times.

About: Dogs are a gift from heaven. It’s important to understand them and give them the same unconditional respect, compassion and love they give to us. I am a mother of two beautiful dogs one named Simba (with mom in France), and my princess named Angel. She was in the shelter her whole life. I was told it would be tough to accommodate her to a normal life, but I realized that all she needed was to feel loved, safe and mostly by my side forever! She understood from the moment I rescued her that she had a furrrever home :) Also, I’m a dual citizen, French and American, so if your dog comes home speaking French don’t be surprised 😁 Availability is based upon demand. I accommodate as much as possible to make sure your baby will be taken care of at the time needed. Learning more about the pet by asking their owners the routine, character, likes or dislikes, but mostly I observe the pet and follow directions given to me.
About: I've had pets for many years now, ranging from cats and dogs to fish. I've had experience caring for both senior dogs and cats, as well as kittens and puppies, and pretty much everything in between. About: I've grown up in a house with animals constantly. At 1 point, having more than 10 animals in a house. We had cats, pigs, dogs and fish. As well as some reptiles and ferrets. About: I have taken care of many animals since I was young. I have 5 clients who I regularly house/pet sit for throughout the year and am looking to grow and meet new animals. I am a real estate agent who primarily works from home so my schedule is very flexible to be able to care for your pet/s to the fullest extent. About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 12 years old. Friends, family and neighbors have relied on me to check in, feed, and provide other basic care for their pets while away. I have experience in cutting cats claws, some experience in training dogs and giving them baths. I have also been working at an Equine Assisted Therapy Ranch where I not only participate in helping therapy sessions but I also help care for the horses to make sure they are groomed, their stalls are clean, and they have enough food and water. When I enter a clients home I also don’t pressure the animal to be with me. I allow them to take their time to get to know me. I would do all the house keeping such as daily walks, litter box clean up, and feeding before personally spending time with the animals by playing.

It was our first time using Rover to find a dog sitter. We had a more peculiar situation with a larger size timid dog. It helped knowing she was okay with just sitting only our dog for a few days since it seemed other sitters sometimes sat multiple dogs at once. A sitter with a fenced in yard was something we wanted to have, since in case walking our timid dog potentially was a challenge, the fenced in yard was an alternative for him doing his business. He warmed up well enough though. She was local to us so we didn’t have to drive too far. It was awesome she accepted a bigger dog since some sitters don’t. She had competitive rates at the time of listing in comparison to other Rover sitters that we were looking at. Overall if needed we could see ourselves requesting future bookings again.”
