“Brook was an amazing dog walker, making my dog comfortable even when she can be a little defensive. They kept me updated in detail and was a great friend to my dog. I will definitely be using them again!”

“Patty was wonderful. Followed through with all instructions, took time to take care of extra things, and showed so much love to our fur-babies. We’d love to use her again.”
About: I was raised with multiple animals in my house (dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, ferrets, rats) and my siblings and I were required to take care of them. They’ve brought me great join and I know how special our animals are to us. My experience is with very specific breeds as well, from hairless cats and Bull terriers, to puppies and elderly cats. I currently coach CrossFit about 3 days a week, and recently have been dog/cat/house sitting for a few of the members of my gym. It’s been such a joy that I want to do it more! I will abide by the rules given to me per the owner. I will never assume cats are allowed outside, or dogs shouldn’t be on a leash. I might spoil the animals a little more than the owner, but only if given permission.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs & cats since I was a teenager. I have always had a passion & love for them. I love all of their characteristics. I have owned dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, & hamsters. I’m typically off of work on Tuesday & Wednesday unless I’m working my evening job. I’m available before noon on Friday & Saturday before work. I will care for your fur babies in your home or my home & around your neighborhood or fenced backyard as if they were my own. If you have any special instructions please make sure to write them down for me. I would love to have your number to send you updates. Please feel free to text or call me for anything. If I can’t answer right away I may be out for a walk with your fur baby so please leave me a voicemail & I will return your call as soon as I can. I will definitely enjoy spending time with your fur babies! Thank you in advance & I look forward to meeting you & your fur family!
“Ashley took great care of our Golden Retriever, Roxie twice while we spent a long day away. Great updates from her and lots of love showered on Roxie. We had a super quick meet and greet beforehand which made everything go smoothly. Book her!!”

About: It all starts with love and respect for each dog’s personality and routine. While I mainly focus on walks and occasional drop-ins, I make sure every dog feels safe, seen, and well cared for during our time together. I’m reliable, calm, and attentive to details like leash safety, hydration, and energy levels—whether your dog prefers a brisk walk or a slower sniff-and-stroll. I’m comfortable following specific instructions, reinforcing basic leash manners, and providing gentle care for puppies or seniors who just need patience and consistency. You’ll always get clear communication and updates so you know your dog is in kind, capable hands. I currently work part time locally but on the days I work I can easily come home on lunch break for any pet care needs. I have a designated room for kitties to feel comfortable with lots of toys, beds/blankets, a litter box, and a fresh water fountain. It is separated from my cat so that they don't need to be afraid and can remain calm even though they're in a new environment.
About: • I’m a mom of four children (three grown and moved out) who loves pets. I grew up with a black Lab, then a Collie mix, then a mutt. My favorite Siamese cat, Tiger, lived to 23. • I am a ghost writer with flexible, remote hours. Having animals to tend gets me up from the computer at regular intervals. Now that our youngest drives, I am more available for drop-in visits. • I grew up marveling at how animals interact with their environments in sensible ways. Like humans, they need to feel secure in order to perform tricks or follow commands consistently.
About: Hi my name is Mariah. I have always loved animals! I am full time in college to become a Veterinarian. I have my own pug and him being spoiled is an understatement. I also have a cat as well. He is just as spoiled. I am very flexible with times and areas. I work in Merritt Island, which is where I normally am but I live in Cocoa and can service anywhere in between. (Titusville, Port St. John, Cocoa, rockledge, Viera, depending on my location) Book me if you want someone to love your babies🤍 Pet care fits into my schedule because I have a lot of flexibility in between work and my college classes. Working around my schedule for your animals will make me happy. My pup runs the house and the cat is the head captain in charge. I take my pup all over and love to have his company. Mine are not in crates but if you need me to crate your babies just let me know.
About: Hi: I have a small but clean and dog friendly home right next to the beach. I am very active and will walk and excercise your dog as much as you would like. I work from home so plenty of time to spend with your furry friend! I have an old chihuahua who can be grumpy at first but will soon be your best friend! I pretty much allow them free reign (stay off my bed please!) I live in a beautiful park like setting very close to the beach.
“Five stars for sure! I have used Ariana many times to drop-in, walk, and board my dog. She’s simply amazing to have around to walk my baby! She is extremely reliable and I trust her with Kimmy. I can’t say enough good things about her.”

About: I've had a few dogs in my life, i actually care for 4 different dogs big and small, regularly. Im good at keeping the energy up with them and tiring them out so they sleep all night. pups are always a fun hang. All I need to know is their routine and I'll handle the rest. Elderly and sick dogs are always welcome in my arms im happy to care for and accommodate to the senior pups as well. Im currently pretty avaliable for anything aside from a few housekeeping gigs i take, (yes im a housekeeper too!😉) I'll make time for whatever care you may need With my cats i always make sure they have a clean litter box, i try to scoop them as often as I see them. They get treats and belly rubs and catnip toys any time I pass the isle at Walmart haha! I take care of my roommates 3 bermise poodles when she's out of town or even just while she's at work I make sure those pups get their lovins for the day watered fed and pottied out. I had 4 rabbits for 3 years until I moved into my van, so im pretty knowledgeable about the little lagamorphs if that is an animal you may need help with as well or someone you may know, send then my way.

About: Hey! My name is Emma. I've been apart of the pet care industry for 3 years. I've always adored cats ever since I was a child, but my true passion for dogs started when I got my first dog at 17 (I'm 21 now) My Golden Retriever named Molly inspired me to start my career as a dog trainer. Since then I've spent hundreds of hours working on my skills and perfecting the craft. I've volunteered at the Hornell Humane Society where I've walked dogs. I've also completed a 3 month mentorship with a professional trainer, Ash Osborn with the Pawsitive Pups Academy. Since then I've started taking both training and dog sitting/walking clients! I believe my skills make me a great option for all your pet care needs. I will never turn down dogs with behavioral issues. Being a pet professional is my full time job so I am available around the clock for your every need! I'm available Monday through Sunday unless I state otherwise. I care for the pets in my clients home with the patience and integrity. I will always to my best to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
