About: I have worked at a Pets R Us Albuquerque NM, I have a GSP and I love him. I reserch everything on animals to make them feel better and to understand them more. I am always home, housewife duties with 2 children that love animals. Will have plenty of time to care for them and make them feel welcome and cuddle with them. I can crate the dogs if needed. I have a very friendly GSP 1 year old that loves to play. In the clients home I can give all my attention to them and make sure they are taken care and fed and walked. Most important loved.

About: I am a retired CVT with over 25 years of experience in small animals, emergency medicine, and teaching future veterinary technician students. I retired 5 years ago and began traveling. Both myself and my husband have been pet sitting full time all over the country. We are home in Florida for an extended amount of time and wanted to expand our services locally. I am comfortable giving medications. It is important to us to maintain a consistent stress-free experience for both the pet owner as well as your family member. I am retired so my schedule is open. I do provide pet sitting via another site so I tend to book up quickly from there. I prefer when pet sitting in clients homes that they provide me with their expectations. For cats I do prefer inside cats only because I don’t want to be responsible if your indoor/outdoor cat doesn’t come home.

Pet care has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. My husband, Aaron & I have had dogs throughout our lives, and right now we have a 3yr-old Goldendoodle who is very high energy and usually gets three to four walks a day, along with plenty of playtime, attention, and activity. I genuinely enjoy that routine and would love to include other dogs in it when it fits their needs. I’m already used to planning my day around walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and making sure a dog is getting enough exercise and attention. Because I’ve cared for dogs with different ages, personalities, and energy levels over the years, I’m also comfortable adjusting the routine for each pet. Some dogs may want a long walk and lots of play, while others may prefer a slower pace, more rest, or just some extra company. Animals aren’t something I TRY to fit into my schedule…they’re already a big part of how I spend my days, and I truly enjoy caring for them. I want every dog I care for to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. If they’re staying with us, they’ll get plenty of attention, playtime, and multiple walks throughout the day based on their normal routine and energy level. We live in a gated community that’s great for walks, and we also have a fenced-in yard for easy, secure potty breaks. Since our own Goldendoodle is very active, getting outside several times a day is already part of our normal routine. If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I’ll follow their usual schedule as closely as possible, including meals, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I’m very careful with doors, gates, leashes, and anything else that affects your dog’s safety. My goal is for them to have a fun, comfortable experience while giving you peace of mind that they’re being treated like one of our own.
