“Ashley was timely, followed all instructions, and did a great job taking care of our babies. We didn’t have to worry at all. She sent photos and detailed updates too. We would recommend her!”

About: I was raised around a vet hospital, my mother is a veterinarian. This has helped me really understand our pets and their needs. They will be taken care of and in good hands! My mother is a verterinarian so I grew up in her vet hospital assisting her with tasks. I’ve taken care of sick animals, boarding cats and dogs, looking after them and making sure they are fed and walked. I make sure to give them the attention they need. Energetic play outside, making sure they are hydrated and feed. There will probably be lots of pets and cuddles from me too!
“This is the second time Chrystal has watched our cats for multiple days at a time and I couldn't feel more at ease. She is attentive and communicative. She will be my first choice next time as well! Thanks Chrystal🐾”

“Lori is the best! Excellent communication skills, she kept us informed throughout her visit. We will be asking her again soon to watch our close family member Cody (Golden Retriever)??”

About: I have had dogs and cats and other small animals my whole life and have years of experience with pet sitting! I am an animal lover! I am currently working part times in the afternoon so I will have plenty of time to take care of fur babies whether they need walking, feeding, or just play time! I do live in an an apartment, but I made to sure to take to my dog on walks multiple times a day when he was still here with us
“Andrea did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away for the holidays. She communicated well and gave good reports of each visit. I will definitely use her services again in the future!”

“Katie was fantastic, and her attentive service made me feel completely at ease and able to feel confident that my cat was safe and in good hands while I was out of town”
“Bethany was great to communicate with during our time away. She kept us updated on Luna with pictures. Luna seemed incredibly well taken care of and healthy on return. Would definitely recommend anyone to book Bethany.”

About: I have four dogs ranging from small to large. I got my first dog in 2018 and added on since. I’ve spent a lot of time training my dogs teaching them commands, going on walks and finding activities that are exercising their minds. I have two bunnies as well, if you know anything about bunnies, you know that they can sometimes be a lot of work. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love all of my animals and I will love yours just as much as mine. I currently stay at home as I am focusing on college. This allows me to care for myself, my pets, and now your pets. I am available all hours of the day, for walking or drop in visits with your furry friends! I do not personally have pets that come to my house since I do have dogs and bunnies of my own. In your home I believe dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. Any instruction you give me on how to take care of your pet is going to be strictly followed. Every pet that I care for will get love will get enriching activities will get exercise taken on walks food and water, which is all very bare minimum for pet sitter.
“Diana is an incredibly kind a warm spirit who took fabulous care of our two dogs. A consummate professional and very respectful. I do not hesitate to recommend her for your needs as well and will undoubtedly look to her again for ours. Thank you again Diana!”
“Ariana and Rapheal were fantastic. They took such good care of our puppies. I was happy to see how my dogs accepted them and enjoyed their company. I appreciate the time they took to play with them and givevthem the necessary snuggles they needed while we were gone.”

“Brittany was wonderful! I was really anxious leaving my cats when I left town for Thanksgiving. Brittany really set my mind at ease. She was easy to contact, and her work with the boys exceeded our expectations. Will definitely reach out to her again next time we take a trip.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cape Canaveral. On Rover:

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
