“Priya was very attentive and sent lots of updates, photos, and videos of our pets. She sent detailed updates with every drop in. She kept an eye on our home for us too. I would highly recommend her!”
“Chrystal did an amazing job with our kitties! Very attentive and well informed on cat care, our kitties did great with her. We will be rebooking with her in the future :)”

About: I have had dogs and cats and other small animals my whole life and have years of experience with pet sitting! I am an animal lover! I am currently working part times in the afternoon so I will have plenty of time to take care of fur babies whether they need walking, feeding, or just play time! I do live in an an apartment, but I made to sure to take to my dog on walks multiple times a day when he was still here with us
“Absolutely amazing! I booked Katie last minute after my original dog sitter cancelled the day I was to leave town. She was always prompt and took genuine care. She did more than expected and clearly has a love for animals. Her communication was superb, and responded in a prompt manner when I messaged her both setting up the checkins and during.”

About: I have four dogs ranging from small to large. I got my first dog in 2018 and added on since. I’ve spent a lot of time training my dogs teaching them commands, going on walks and finding activities that are exercising their minds. I have two bunnies as well, if you know anything about bunnies, you know that they can sometimes be a lot of work. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love all of my animals and I will love yours just as much as mine. I currently stay at home as I am focusing on college. This allows me to care for myself, my pets, and now your pets. I am available all hours of the day, for walking or drop in visits with your furry friends! I do not personally have pets that come to my house since I do have dogs and bunnies of my own. In your home I believe dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. Any instruction you give me on how to take care of your pet is going to be strictly followed. Every pet that I care for will get love will get enriching activities will get exercise taken on walks food and water, which is all very bare minimum for pet sitter.
“My Yorkie is a rescue and he has stress/anxiety and separation issues. I had him only a few months when I began having Sarilyne coming to my house while I was working. Sarilyne was able to establish trust and security to my dog immediately. She is a very sweet, kind and patient and punctual person who I trust to come into my home to care for dog.”

“Bethany is a great choice to care for your dog. We have a young puppy that's still learning to be house broken. As well as nipping and grabbing everything in sight. She took on the challenge for a weekend. We got amazing feed back and updates throughout. We returned and could tell our puppy was well taken care of and happy.”

“Ariana was great! She was very reliable and followed all of my requests. My pets have a pretty tight routine and she was able to keep it perfectly. She was also very in tune with my dog. She could tell that he didn’t want to walk too far from home and let him do his walk where he could still see our house! This is something I knew about him, but totally forgot to mention to her. She just picked right up on it. Will definitely use her again.”

“Diana is an incredibly kind a warm spirit who took fabulous care of our two dogs. A consummate professional and very respectful. I do not hesitate to recommend her for your needs as well and will undoubtedly look to her again for ours. Thank you again Diana!”
“Caitlyn saved our 4th of July trip and made sure Nova didn't feel alone while we were gone. Walks daily, always updated if she ate or went potty. It made me feel so much better for my 1st time hiring a dog sitter.”

About: I’ve had pets all my life. Currently I have one dog and one cat! When my family is all together though, we have 5 dogs in total! I would love to take care of your furry friends as well 🐾 I am available 9:00-6:00pm during the week for drop ins or walks as well as the weekends. I am flexible so just send me a message to see if I’d be a good fit for your fur family! Ensure the pets’ needs are always met, playtime, feeding time, walk time, and of course snuggle time! Keeping the pets engaged and of course having fun
About: Hi everyone! I just signed up for rover and I’m super excited! I’ve had animals all my life. Big dogs, small dogs and cats. I know the responsibility that comes with them and how they need to be taken care of. In my eyes I see it as my pets being my children. I make it very apparent to clean and make sure that they are comfortable. Especially in your home. I am currently not working at the moment. So I am available anytime all the time ! I am looking for a part time job but nothing in the works yet ! I will be able to come and see your pets whenever you need. Whether it’s just for the night maybe a couple of days or just even popping in while you are working ! I do prefer to see your fur babies in your home. I think it reduces stress levels for them when they know they are in their own space and territory. But if it’s needed to be in mine that’s more than welcomed too! My space is very clean and they will have a fenced yard to fro-lick and play as much as they want to ! I do have dogs which might be a deal breaker, but I will make sure to keep your fur baby comfortable until they see you again!
“Megan was amazing with our pup. We had her stop by our home a few times a day to check on our 8 week old puppy. She was attentive, caring, and went about and behind to make sure our baby was well taken care of. She fed, played with and even bathed him when he had an accident in his crate. We could not be happier with the level of care she provided to Ares. I highly recommend Megan to anyone looking for a dog sitter. Thank you Megan!”

About: I've had pets my entire life and have always loved and respected all types of animals. I grew up with dogs and a few hamsters, but 14 years ago I adopted a kitten off of Craigslist and it was the best decision ever. I've volunteered at a few shelters and sanctuaries for cats over the years so I'm not afraid of getting dirty. My last roommate had 3 cats and my current roommate has a pitbull. My cat Moochi tolerates their presence lol. I also love most rodents. I've watched my friend's ferret a few times over the years and he's so fun. I currently work part-time as a house and commercial cleaner and one of my favorite parts of the job is meeting people's pets and spending time with them in between cleaning. That's actually what gave me the idea to try out Rover! I travel all over Brevard and have a lot of free time to fill. I am happy to come to the clients home to visit their pets. I have been alone in many clients homes before for cleaning and have never had issues or complaints.
About: I’m an experienced pet lover with 4+ years caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, and other animals. I’ve taken care of pets since I was little, and I always treat them like family. I’m reliable, gentle, and committed to keeping your pets happy, safe, and comfortable. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. I make time every day for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins, and I’m flexible with my schedule so I can adjust to each pet’s needs. Whether it’s early-morning walks, mid-day visits, or evening care, I fit pet care smoothly into my day because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully to keep the pet’s routine as normal as possible. I handle feeding, walks, litter or potty clean-up, playtime, and any special care the pet needs. I also keep the home tidy, respect their space, and make sure the pet feels safe and cared for while the owner is away.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
