About: I've owned cats since I was a child, but I first started working with them in a more professional setting when I started volunteering at the Hornell Humane Society. Since 2023 I've rescued 6 cats, and have successfully found loving homes for all of them. It all started with a young grey tabby cat named Katherine, who currently lives with my mothers partner. Last summer I rescued a litter of 5 kittens, 3 boys and 2 girls. I hand raised them from 4 weeks until I found them good homes. I currently own 2 cats, 2 girls named Juniper and Olive Oil! About: Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I always had a cat companion—or two—and I was often the child bringing home another cat in need. Luckily, my uncle was a veterinarian! That behavior continued into adulthood. Over the years, I’ve welcomed and cared for several lonely cats looking for love, care and companionship. I was incredibly lucky to mother Maia, my first cat as an adult, and then my soul sister LadyBug. Each lived a long, full, love-filled life. Caring for them through their senior years gave me hands-on experience with medications, special diets, changing needs, and the extra patience and tenderness older cats deserve. After my sweet LadyBug crossed the rainbow bridge in 2022 at age 17, I was heartbroken and deeply missing her—and cat energy in general. I began volunteering with HOPE for Brevard Cat Rescue in Eau Gallie. My hands-on involvement there has broadened my cat-care experience tremendously. The many different purr-sonalities I’ve met have taught me to pay close attention to expressions, body language and other cues, and to meet each cat exactly where they are—whether they want playtime, cuddles, quiet companionship or a respectful human who understands that today may be a “please admire me from across the room” kind of day. And, of course, that’s also how Harpurr and Fraya eventually became part of my family!

About: I am a retired CVT with over 25 years of experience in small animals, emergency medicine, and teaching future veterinary technician students. I retired 5 years ago and began traveling. Both myself and my husband have been pet sitting full time all over the country. We are home in Florida for an extended amount of time and wanted to expand our services locally. I am comfortable giving medications. It is important to us to maintain a consistent stress-free experience for both the pet owner as well as your family member. I am retired so my schedule is open. I do provide pet sitting via another site so I tend to book up quickly from there. I prefer when pet sitting in clients homes that they provide me with their expectations. For cats I do prefer inside cats only because I don’t want to be responsible if your indoor/outdoor cat doesn’t come home.

I began learning how to professionally handle and train dogs in 2002 at a facility called CT-K9, which also houses the Hartford city animal shelter. In an environment like that one, a tough city ‘dog pound’, you have to be strong and you have to be fast and you have to have a big heart. So of course I did great! I met some amazing people and I of course adopted a best friend from the shelter and enjoyed 10 wonderful years of hiking and camping with her in Connecticut, where I am from originally. Once daily as well as twice / thrice daily. Multiple Pets Welcome!!😁 I carry professional kennel grade loop leashes for maximum safety on a walk, follow positive dog training ethics, and stay in touch with you via m no text and photos as much as you would like😊
About: I’ve always had a great love for animals! Growing up with three dogs and three cats taught me how to care for pets with different personalities, sizes, and needs. I’ve also helped bring displaced dogs from Puerto Rico to the mainland United States to find loving homes. Along with cats and dogs, I’m familiar with caring for other animals, including guinea pigs. I am working full time currently so not as open as I would like to be, but may be leaving my job soon to finish school online so my schedule might be opening up a lot! I make sure the dogs are given as much attention as they need and are not left to their own devices to get into trouble as we know our pets love to do! About: I grew up in Burlington, Vermont surrounded by dogs and have had them nearly my entire life. Today I have two Mini Australian Shepherds, Rosie and Chili, who keep me on my toes with their high energy, intelligence, and need for constant engagement.
