“Jennifer took such good care of our little fur baby. We greatly appreciate her promptness, her photos and check ins, and the gentle care she gave our dog. Highly recommend!!”

“Bethany is a great choice to care for your dog. We have a young puppy that's still learning to be house broken. As well as nipping and grabbing everything in sight. She took on the challenge for a weekend. We got amazing feed back and updates throughout. We returned and could tell our puppy was well taken care of and happy.”

“Melissa ALWAYS does a marvelous job taking care of our kitties She treats them with the love and attention I give them, sometimes even more We hope she continues to be our regular pet sitter for as long as we need her She is the sweetest person and very caring You would never find a more attentive and efficient sitter She goes above and beyond I highly recommend her if you want the job done right”
“Monica is so sweet and followed all instructions to care for my cat. She sent detailed updates every visit on how kitty was doing, and it's really easy to tell she loves animals. I'd definitely recommend her, and we'd love to have her watch Cupcake again!”

“My Yorkie is a rescue and he has stress/anxiety and separation issues. I had him only a few months when I began having Sarilyne coming to my house while I was working. Sarilyne was able to establish trust and security to my dog immediately. She is a very sweet, kind and patient and punctual person who I trust to come into my home to care for dog.”

“Cyndy took wonderful care of my cat Sadie over a long weekend away! Sadie was fed and entertained, and the litter box and apartment were clean when I came home. I will definitely be calling Cyndy again the next time I am travelling! <3”

“Katie was very dependable, loving and patient with our two pups that have never been left before. The pictures she sent told a story of dogs who felt very taken care of and happy despite our absence. I would highly recommend her for your pup that may be a bit on that timid side. She handled the dogs amazingly.”

“She was very kind and gentle with my dog Bruno. He trusted her and was always excited to see her. Thank you Patty for giving me peace of mind with my fur baby brother.”

“Kadence was a wonderful sitter for my cat! She was great at communicating, timely, and always sent pictures. My cat was delighted to see her and always looking well loved and petted in the photos.”

About: I have four dogs ranging from small to large. I got my first dog in 2018 and added on since. I’ve spent a lot of time training my dogs teaching them commands, going on walks and finding activities that are exercising their minds. I have two bunnies as well, if you know anything about bunnies, you know that they can sometimes be a lot of work. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love all of my animals and I will love yours just as much as mine. I currently stay at home as I am focusing on college. This allows me to care for myself, my pets, and now your pets. I am available all hours of the day, for walking or drop in visits with your furry friends! I do not personally have pets that come to my house since I do have dogs and bunnies of my own. In your home I believe dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. Any instruction you give me on how to take care of your pet is going to be strictly followed. Every pet that I care for will get love will get enriching activities will get exercise taken on walks food and water, which is all very bare minimum for pet sitter.
“Priya was very attentive and sent lots of updates, photos, and videos of our pets. She sent detailed updates with every drop in. She kept an eye on our home for us too. I would highly recommend her!”
“Patsy was responsive, communicative, and great to work with. This was our first time using Rover’s service while on vacation. We were extremely nervous about putting our beloved pets life in a complete strangers care, but Patsy eased our minds by sending us pictures and updates during her visits. Thank you Patsy for taking such good care of our sweet boy, Fozzie. We will definitely use your services again the next time we visit Cocoa Beach.”

“Katelynn has checked in on my cats for many of my trips and she always does a great job. She is very reliable and is able to give my senior cat his oral medications twice a day, which is a big help! Thanks again Katelynn for giving me peace of mind while on my trip.”
“Lori is the best! Excellent communication skills, she kept us informed throughout her visit. We will be asking her again soon to watch our close family member Cody (Golden Retriever)??”

JaRavia took wonderful care of my cat while I was on a work trip. My cat is very social and clingy, so I was worried about leaving him. JaRavia took the time to pay attention to him, play with him, and even did an additional last minute visit when I noticed him getting restless from my pet cam.

Amazing as everrrrr!! I’m fully convinced our cats are now excited when they see the suitcases rolled out, because it means Ichly is coming to play! Thorough, thoughtful, and always goes above n’ beyond with enrichment and detailed updates. 4 paws up. 10/10 recommend 🐾🐾

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cocoa. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
