“Priya was very attentive and sent lots of updates, photos, and videos of our pets. She sent detailed updates with every drop in. She kept an eye on our home for us too. I would highly recommend her!”
“Kadence was a wonderful sitter for my cat! She was great at communicating, timely, and always sent pictures. My cat was delighted to see her and always looking well loved and petted in the photos.”

“We loved the care Melissa provided for our 5 pets (1 Large Dog, 4 Cats). She was considerate of their individual needs and gave us so much peace of mind. The option to have our pets in our home instead of in a kennel brought the entire family relief. The photos she took every trip made us feel connected to our babies and gave us confidence in their care. We plan to use Melissa for all our trips now! We know they will be happy to see her!”

Id be happy to keep you updated with regular texts and pictures if you would like as I know from experience that this can make being away from them a little easier. I am a stay at home wife so I have plenty of time to give your fury friend all the love and attention they deserve Your fury friend will get lots of love and play time. I have a fenced in yard where they can run around and have lots of playtime and a nice neighborhood for regular walks.

About: I have four dogs ranging from small to large. I got my first dog in 2018 and added on since. I’ve spent a lot of time training my dogs teaching them commands, going on walks and finding activities that are exercising their minds. I have two bunnies as well, if you know anything about bunnies, you know that they can sometimes be a lot of work. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love all of my animals and I will love yours just as much as mine. I currently stay at home as I am focusing on college. This allows me to care for myself, my pets, and now your pets. I am available all hours of the day, for walking or drop in visits with your furry friends! I do not personally have pets that come to my house since I do have dogs and bunnies of my own. In your home I believe dogs are more comfortable in their own environment. Any instruction you give me on how to take care of your pet is going to be strictly followed. Every pet that I care for will get love will get enriching activities will get exercise taken on walks food and water, which is all very bare minimum for pet sitter.
“We can't Thank you enough for visiting with our girls. It was such a relief to be able to go away and know that our girls are taken care of. And that Kasey, liked you from the first time she met you!!! That of course, means alot! Our doggies have to like their handlers! Thank you Monica! We will be using your services again in the near future.”
About: I grew up on 6 acres of land caring for virtually every type of pet you could imagine for the first 15 years of my life. I even started a YouTube channel when I was 13 years old and accumulated 41k followers and over 26 million views, just by sharing my love and compassion for animals! I currently have 3 dogs, 3 cats, a snake, and a bird and would love to help you and your fur babies in your time/s of need. I cannot do overnight housesitting at this time, but I can spend the days at your home if you need :) I currently stay home during the day with my sweet, gentle, animal-loving 1-year-old girl, and only work 3 days a week for a few hours. When I’m not home, my boyfriend is so we have all the time in the world to give your fur babies the time and attention they need and deserve! I am an above-and-beyond type of sitter, not just an ‘only what is in the job description’. I want to give the type of care that I would want my own fur babies to receive!

About: I have had animals my whole life! I love dogs and cats! I have my own 5 year old Golden Retriever who has received 3 AKC Good Citizen Certifications. I love taking pups on walks! I am working full time currently so not as open as I would like to be, but may be leaving my job soon to finish school online so my schedule might be opening up a lot! I make sure the dogs are given as much attention as they need and are not left to their own devices to get into trouble as we know our pets love to do! A safe and healthy environment for play and learning is top priority in working with animals.

On every visit she sent us detailed updates, photos, and even videos before we asked. Our kitties looked very content when we came home. They miss her but will see her again soon!!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
