“I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. I highly recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and professional to care for their pets. Thank you, Jennifer, for taking such wonderful care of Tux!”

“Bethany is a great choice to care for your dog. We have a young puppy that's still learning to be house broken. As well as nipping and grabbing everything in sight. She took on the challenge for a weekend. We got amazing feed back and updates throughout. We returned and could tell our puppy was well taken care of and happy.”

“Priya was very attentive and sent lots of updates, photos, and videos of our pets. She sent detailed updates with every drop in. She kept an eye on our home for us too. I would highly recommend her!”
“Melissa has been caring for our pups for the past few years, and she continues to be absolutely wonderful. She is consistent, reliable, and genuinely caring. While we were away, she made sure our dogs were comfortable, happy, and well looked after every single day. We always come home to relaxed, content pups, which says everything about the quality of care she provides. We’re truly grateful for her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter.”

“Kadence was a wonderful sitter for my cat! She was great at communicating, timely, and always sent pictures. My cat was delighted to see her and always looking well loved and petted in the photos.”

“Nicole has been the best care taker for our cat. She has went above and beyond for Pousecil over the last week and have been very flexible. We highly recommend Nicole for your next Rover service.”

About: Hi there! I have grown up in a household of dogs all of my life, from adolescence to adulthood. I’m a dependable, loyal person that wholeheartedly loves dogs and the added joys they bring to our lives. My fiancé and I are parents to two rescue pups — a sweet german shepherd named Haylie, and an even sweeter beagle/coonhound mix named Lady. Please reach out with any additional questions you may have 😊 I’m seeking to make Rover my full-time job and will have virtually open availability intertwined with my personal schedule/daily routine. I’m a morning and daytime person (not a night owl) and my availability typically won’t extend past 7-8pm unless there is a special circumstance :) I will follow provided instructions tightly and will ensure your pet(s) are happy, healthy and loved while I am with them. Long walks and snuggles are my specialty!
“Samantha is always the best and most reliable!! She is always on time and takes the cutest photos of my boys to send me while she’s there. We’ve used her every time we go away and the pups are always happy and healthy on our return home. Highly recommend!!”

About: Hey! My name is Emma. I've been apart of the pet care industry for 3 years. I've always adored cats ever since I was a child, but my true passion for dogs started when I got my first dog at 17 (I'm 21 now) My Golden Retriever named Molly inspired me to start my career as a dog trainer. Since then I've spent hundreds of hours working on my skills and perfecting the craft. I've volunteered at the Hornell Humane Society where I've walked dogs. I've also completed a 3 month mentorship with a professional trainer, Ash Osborn with the Pawsitive Pups Academy. Since then I've started taking both training and dog sitting/walking clients! I believe my skills make me a great option for all your pet care needs. I will never turn down dogs with behavioral issues. Being a pet professional is my full time job so I am available around the clock for your every need! I'm available Monday through Sunday unless I state otherwise. I care for the pets in my clients home with the patience and integrity. I will always to my best to maintain a clean and safe environment.
About: I grew up on 6 acres of land caring for virtually every type of pet you could imagine for the first 15 years of my life. I even started a YouTube channel when I was 13 years old and accumulated 41k followers and over 26 million views, just by sharing my love and compassion for animals! I currently have 3 dogs, 3 cats, a snake, and a bird and would love to help you and your fur babies in your time/s of need. I cannot do overnight housesitting at this time, but I can spend the days at your home if you need :) I currently stay home during the day with my sweet, gentle, animal-loving 1-year-old girl, and only work 3 days a week for a few hours. When I’m not home, my boyfriend is so we have all the time in the world to give your fur babies the time and attention they need and deserve! I am an above-and-beyond type of sitter, not just an ‘only what is in the job description’. I want to give the type of care that I would want my own fur babies to receive!
About: I've cared for animals my whole life. I understand every pet has different needs and personalities. I'm patient, dependable, and genuinely love animals, always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you're away. I plan to balance pet care with my part-time job by keeping an organized schedule and only accepting bookings I can fully commit to. I'm reliable with time management and will make sure every pet receives proper attention, care, and consistency. When caring for pets in others' homes, I will follow each pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and safe. I'll provide feeding, walks, playtime, affection, and regular updates while also respecting and caring for the owner's home.
“It is not easy to find a responsible, reliable person especially when it come to your fur babies. Jhoma did take great care of our three kitties. On every visit she sent us detailed updates, photos, and even videos before we asked. Our kitties looked very content when we came home. They miss her but will see her again soon!!”

“Christine is wonderful! Was so good with my two dogs and went out of her way to come meet us for a meet and greet on such short notice! Will book her everytime she is available!”

“Jonathan has great communication before and during his time with our pups he is great to work with and is extremely flexible if you need to adjust your booking to add additional visits”

About: I have had 2-4 pets in my home for my entire life and they have always been cared for lovingly and well. I am consistently trusted to check in on or dog/house sit for family and friends. I am a college student home for the summer so I have full availability during days and nights. I am willing to overnight sit and drop in throughout the day. I have a fenced in yard and two small elderly dogs. They are crate trained and can stay separate from the dogs I am dog sitting if needed. They are friendly and low energy. All size dogs welcome for my services!
“Savannah was awesome with our kitties! She sent lots of pictures, and we could tell the cats really warmed to her. They were well-cared for, and we'd definitely use Savannah again for pet-sitting. :)”

Angelina was a life saver! After another Rover cancelled on me at the last minute Angelina stepped in (over a holiday no less) she took excellent care of my sweet dog and allowed me to enjoy my trip with comfort and assurance that my dog was ok - we would love to use her again in the future

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.
Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Cocoa stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cocoa. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
