“We were honestly a little nervous about using Rover for the first time, especially with four dogs, but we decided to take a chance and are so glad we found Lorraine. We were gone overnight, and she came by several times to let the girls out, feed them, and spend some time with them. One of the biggest things we appreciated was that our dogs didn’t have to deal with the stress of leaving the house and going to a boarding facility. They got to stay in their own home, in their own environment, play, relax, and keep their normal routine while we were away. Our dogs are usually very good at letting us know how they feel about people, and they took to Lorraine almost immediately. That alone made us feel so much better. You could tell she was comfortable with them and genuinely cared about making sure they were happy and taken care of. She kept us updated every time she stopped by and sent pictures, which we really appreciated. We also have motion-activated cameras at home, and from the clips we received, it was clear the girls were relaxed, happy, and comfortable with her during each visit. That gave us even more peace of mind while we were away. Lorraine did exactly what we asked and then some. She was reliable, easy to communicate with, and treated our dogs like they mattered to her. We went into this a little unsure about using Rover, but Lorraine completely changed our minds. From now on, she’s our pet sitter. We trust her with our girls, and that says a lot. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and caring to look after their pets.”

About: I do not own any pets myself. I did do some volunteering at the SPCA of Brevard for a couple of months taking care of cats and walking dogs so I did gain experience in helping care for animals. I do my best when instructions are set clearly and I love animals, taking care of them is my dream. I am willing to take care of pets on my scheduled calendar days. I am currently off of school so if you want a week day booking feel free to contact me and we can have a meet and greet. If there is a cancellation just let me know at max 3 days before. I will be free and eager unless I have a doctor's appointment. I do not have any pets unfortunately as much as I want to. I can do pet sitting drop in visits and dog walking. I am also very careful and I do my best with tasks given to me. If there are any specifics I need to know when it comes to a pet I will accommodate them as such.

About: With over 15 years of raising many types of animal my connection with dogs is something else. From being able to communicate with them through cues and body language to routine practice with training. It has been a pleasure to have raised 5 different dogs through their entire life. During this time I learned love and care is important for a dogs health and longevity. I am also very aware of the importance of small things like cleaning the water bowl before filling, cleaning a dogs ears regularly and keeping there nails cut and clean. I have noticed some dogs do need full attention to feel loved and I am here to provide that for them! Please let me know if you have any questions for me , I would love to help. Looking to care for dogs full time! I wake up early , so morning are great for me. There is plenty of time through my week for multiple checkups and visits if requested. My home is completely fenced in with full security system to keep tabs on my dogs with ai motion detection that tells you how many animals and what type are in the yard. Dogs are free to roam around the house and yard without being locked up it’s very secure and gives them a sense of freedom and relaxation with plenty of sun bathing areas and shade.

About: Greetings! My name is Colleen. I’m new to Rover, but my daughter has had a successful Rover business for 4 years in Alaska. I recently visited my daughter and while I was there I had the privilege to join her on some of her dog walks and found it to be a true pleasure, and therapeutic, to meet her clients, love on and walk their pets. What a great experience! I have had pets and farm animals most of my life, and raised my children with animals being treated as family members (probably why my daughter is loving her business with Rover). As you can tell I live in Florida (not Alaska lol). Many years ago I was a foster home for a dog rescue. I have been involved in youth programs that taught kids how to raise pigs and show them at local county fairs. I retired from a 20 year career in healthcare 4 years ago. Since then I’ve been helping with a family business and caring for disabled family members navigating our healthcare system. I’m excited for the opportunity with Rover to be able to provide a service to my clients and their pets during times of need so that your pet gets the love and care they deserve, and you’ll get the peace of mind knowing your pet is being loved and well cared for. I am punctual, communicative, and attentive to detail; I'll do my best to ensure your pets stay happy and healthy while you're away. I'm currently a stay at home mom homeschooling my 3 boys. I can provide all day companionship and activity for your fur babies and plenty of walks and play time. Communication: I’ll send regular photo and video updates so you never have to wonder how they’re doing with care log. Safety First: I am extremely mindful of leash safety, dietary restrictions, and home security. If I'm coming to your pet's space, we would start with a well check of the environment to make sure nothing has changed since you said goodbye to them. Taking them out for a walk and then settling them back down when we get home with quick grooming if needed, water, and some play time or petting depending on what they need. Finishing with a full report so you know just how it went. I have a pet friendly home ready to invite your fur babies over to play with my two dogs (7 years old, sisters, mixed breed). Fenced in backyard area and a great neighborhood for walks. Plenty of outdoor shaded area to relax and plenty of indoor play space to keep cool on hot Florida days.

About: Been dog sitting for friends and have had my own dogs throughout my life. Always been a sucker for their puppy ways.. everyone of them have their own cuteness and personality I work from home.. So I am quite flexible.. This is a nonsmoking house and plenty of room for play time or just chill out .. Any question please feel free to ask. Thanks We currently are empty nesters.. So it will definitely be nice to have furry friends to keep us entertained.. our beloved Zazz did pass away last year from old age .. So we are still healing from that so we are in no rush to get a new baby.. So we thought we could just give all our attention to your .. I work from home all day long might leave to go grocery shopping. .. the weekend we do run errands. But the dog won’t be left alone for no more then 4 hours We have a big back fence but we can make it smaller so we can keep an eye on .. Gregg loves walking the dog also when he gets home. We have a quiet, bike trail one block away that we can walk the dog if the dog need to burn some energy .. but if the dog doesn’t like walks we always have a big yard. So they can have fresh air or use the rest room

About: Hi! I’m Meagan! I’m 27 years old and currently finishing my bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. I’m a huge animal lover and have grown up loving and caring for animals. I’m responsible, patient, attentive, and definitely the type of person who treats pets like part of the family. I have four pets of my own, two dogs and two cats, so taking care of animals is already a big part of my everyday life. My pets are all very friendly, well-behaved, and get along great with each other. I understand that every animal has a different personality, though, and some pets need a little more space or time to feel comfortable. If your dog doesn’t tolerate cats, that’s completely okay! My cats can stay in a separate area in the back part of my house that can be closed off from the dogs. The same goes for pets that may just need their own space. I want every animal staying with me to feel safe and comfortable. Since I’m a pet owner myself, I also understand how nerve racking it can be to leave your pets with someone else. I’m happy to follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and of course lots of attention and cuddles! I’m also happy to send pictures and updates so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away. Outside of caring for my animals, I’m creative and love interior design, being active, and spending time at home with my pets. If your pet isn’t comfortable around cats, my cats can stay in a separate, closed-off area of the house. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal routine, feeding instructions, boundaries, and any special care needs so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.
