About: I’ve had two dogs in the past as an adult that I loved very much, so I definitely have some real experience as a pet mom. I miss taking my pups out for walks. I'm currently a proud pet mom to Winston, my loyal 8-year-old Chocolate Labrador; Bear, his mischievous 8-month-old Mini Dachshund brother; Sam, our curious 9-month-old cat; Theodore, our sweet 6-year-old bunny; and Tito, our 9-year-old feisty Green-Cheek Conure. “We were honestly a little nervous about using Rover for the first time, especially with four dogs, but we decided to take a chance and are so glad we found Lorraine. We were gone overnight, and she came by several times to let the girls out, feed them, and spend some time with them. One of the biggest things we appreciated was that our dogs didn’t have to deal with the stress of leaving the house and going to a boarding facility. They got to stay in their own home, in their own environment, play, relax, and keep their normal routine while we were away. Our dogs are usually very good at letting us know how they feel about people, and they took to Lorraine almost immediately. That alone made us feel so much better. During this time I learned love and care is important for a dogs health and longevity. I am also very aware of the importance of small things like cleaning the water bowl before filling, cleaning a dogs ears regularly and keeping there nails cut and clean. I will take them for potty breaks every 2 hours while boarding overnight and however many times requested while stopping by for some outside time. About: I do not own any pets myself. I did do some volunteering at the SPCA of Brevard for a couple of months taking care of cats and walking dogs so I did gain experience in helping care for animals. I do my best when instructions are set clearly and I love animals, taking care of them is my dream. I am willing to take care of pets on my scheduled calendar days. I am currently off of school so if you want a week day booking feel free to contact me and we can have a meet and greet. If there is a cancellation just let me know at max 3 days before. I will be free and eager unless I have a doctor's appointment. I do not have any pets unfortunately as much as I want to. I can do pet sitting drop in visits and dog walking. But the dog won’t be left alone for no more then 4 hours We have a big back fence but we can make it smaller so we can keep an eye on .. Gregg loves walking the dog also when he gets home. We have a quiet, bike trail one block away that we can walk the dog if the dog need to burn some energy .. but if the dog doesn’t like walks we always have a big yard. So they can have fresh air or use the rest room

I recently visited my daughter and while I was there I had the privilege to join her on some of her dog walks and found it to be a true pleasure, and therapeutic, to meet her clients, love on and walk their pets. I have had pets and farm animals most of my life, and raised my children with animals being treated as family members (probably why my daughter is loving her business with Rover). As you can tell I live in Florida (not Alaska lol). Many years ago I was a foster home for a dog rescue. I have been involved in youth programs that taught kids how to raise pigs and show them at local county fairs. I retired from a 20 year career in healthcare 4 years ago. Since then I’ve been helping with a family business and caring for disabled family members navigating our healthcare system. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. Animals are my passion. I grew up with golden retrievers and currently have an almost 3 year old old goldendoodle and a 16 year old cat who mean the world to me. I’m a stay at home mom with plenty of time on my hands and I love being around animals. They are such sweet seratonin boosts! My goldendoodle is currently 2 1/2 years old and she is currently on a schedule that works great for the two of us. She sleeps through the night until wake up time which is 7am. Then we go out to our fenced backyard to potty and it’s breakfast time. We do 15 minutes of training then a walk and typically a long snooze til lunch. Then repeat til dinner and bed. Our cat is basically a lounge lizard. He is free fed and an indoor cat. He’s been the easiest boy and loves his pup sister MOST of the time. 😉

About: Hi! I’m Meagan! I’m 27 years old and currently finishing my bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. I’m a huge animal lover and have grown up loving and caring for animals. I’m responsible, patient, attentive, and definitely the type of person who treats pets like part of the family. I have four pets of my own, two dogs and two cats, so taking care of animals is already a big part of my everyday life. My pets are all very friendly, well-behaved, and get along great with each other. I understand that every animal has a different personality, though, and some pets need a little more space or time to feel comfortable. If your dog doesn’t tolerate cats, that’s completely okay! My cats can stay in a separate area in the back part of my house that can be closed off from the dogs. The same goes for pets that may just need their own space. I want every animal staying with me to feel safe and comfortable. Since I’m a pet owner myself, I also understand how nerve racking it can be to leave your pets with someone else. I’m happy to follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and of course lots of attention and cuddles!
