About: Greetings! My name is Colleen. I’m new to Rover, but my daughter has had a successful Rover business for 4 years in Alaska. I recently visited my daughter and while I was there I had the privilege to join her on some of her dog walks and found it to be a true pleasure, and therapeutic, to meet her clients, love on and walk their pets. What a great experience! I have had pets and farm animals most of my life, and raised my children with animals being treated as family members (probably why my daughter is loving her business with Rover). As you can tell I live in Florida (not Alaska lol). Many years ago I was a foster home for a dog rescue. I have been involved in youth programs that taught kids how to raise pigs and show them at local county fairs. I retired from a 20 year career in healthcare 4 years ago. Since then I’ve been helping with a family business and caring for disabled family members navigating our healthcare system. I’m excited for the opportunity with Rover to be able to provide a service to my clients and their pets during times of need so that your pet gets the love and care they deserve, and you’ll get the peace of mind knowing your pet is being loved and well cared for. Unfortunately I recently lost my dog of 13 years. My little bit was an amazing little Shih Tzu that brought my family so much joy during her life. I currently have no pets in my home as I’m still healing from little bits passing over the rainbow bridge, so I just love on all my family members and friends pets. Now, I’m ready to love on yours as well.

About: Hey I’m Sarah and I would love to take care of your fur babies while you are away! I used to have two dogs and a cat, but I currently have two cats! I am very good at time management and sticking to a schedule, and my unconditional love for animals set me apart from everyone else. I have a very open and flexible schedule, so please contact me if you need a dog walker or someone to play/ feed your dog(s)/cat(s) periodically! I currently stay at home so I have a flexible schedule! I can be free to watch and care for your animals at any point in the day or night! Because of my pets at home, I do not do home stays at my home, however, I have tons of experience in pet care, so I can easily crate dogs and cats, I am able to go on runs and walks with dogs, and I follow a schedule very well so feedings will be on time!

About: We have always had pets when I was going up so I’ve always been around animals and have cared for them. I now have 3 kitties and a dog of my own. I have also taken care of family members and friends animals for days, weeks, and even months at a time. I work full time but have plenty of free time after work and on my days off! I am available everyday during the evening time , some mornings , and most weekdays to come check up on or walk your fur babies I’ll take care of your babies as if they were my own. About: I have worked at a Pets R Us Albuquerque NM, I have a GSP and I love him. I reserch everything on animals to make them feel better and to understand them more. I am always home, housewife duties with 2 children that love animals. Will have plenty of time to care for them and make them feel welcome and cuddle with them. I can crate the dogs if needed. I have a very friendly GSP 1 year old that loves to play. In the clients home I can give all my attention to them and make sure they are taken care and fed and walked. Most important loved.

About: I’ve pet sat for around 4 years now. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I have a dog of my own and love spending time with her. There’s something special about spending time with animals! I’m currently in college and working part time. I’m looking to fit in jobs in between class, or before and after, to help make a little extra money for school. I have no problem taking your babies on walks, playing outside with them, and even crating them when I leave if they aren’t able to be left out alone! I’m definitely very cautious when it comes to taking care of animals to ensure they have fun and are also staying safe.

From energetic puppies and large breeds to seniors and pets with special medical needs. -My first dog was a diabetic Labrador, so I became comfortable with medication routines early on, including administering injections and caring for animals requiring extra attention. I currently have a friendly, well-trained female German Shepherd whom I personally trained through an instructor-led K-9 obedience program as a puppy. That experience gave me a strong foundation in obedience training, canine behavior, and confidently handling large, strong dogs. I’m equally comfortable with the smaller breeds and have cared for breeds such as Shih Tzus, Pomskies, Spaniels, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, and many others. -While I’m newer to Rover, I’m not new to pet sitting. About: I worked at the dog spot hotel for years handling several kinds of dogs behaviors, food, medicines, baths, exercise, etc. I also have owned 3 of my own dogs and taken several training courses with a certified dog trainer for behavior and commands. I’m currently working a part time serving position, so I will have a lot of time to play and take care of all of your dogs. I come home on breaks as I live right down the road and my hours aren’t long at all. I am also already hanging out with a foster dog when he needs me. I have a fenced in backyard as well as a screened in porch to take your dog outside to potty in the rain if they get nervous. I have a spacious home for roaming and tile floors perfect for cleaning up any accidents! I have a 8 year old yorkie mix at my home too that will keep your pets company and is great with all size dogs. I also have reliable AC in this florida heat to keep your puppies comfortable. I am able to lift 70 pounds on my own at least, in case of an emergency if I have to handle your dog from another dog.

About: I have had taken care of/lived with various dog breeds, and have walked and raised dogs since I can remember. I have volunteered at Alaqua walking and playing with dogs, and I have experience dog sitting and walking dogs via Rover and family connections. I have worked with puppies, middle aged dogs, older dogs, both big and small! I love dogs unconditionally and I will do everything in my power to ensure they stay spoiled and happy :). As of now, I am attending University of Central Florida, so I am willing to work around my classes and my work schedule once I find a stable job! I cannot care for pets at my own home, but I will ensure that when I come to your home, I will keep it looking good as new. I am a chronic dish washer if any dishes or slight cleaning needs to be made. I am also no stranger to accidents that dogs are prone to, as one of my past dogs had a sensitive stomach, especially when it came to my carpeted floors. I will do whatever your dog wants to do, but my favorite aspect of it all is to ensure that the dog is happy and to make a connection with them. I love being active and playing, but I can also just simply snuggle up with them.
