“Lauren was a fantastic dogsitter for Maggie (50-60 Lb German shepherd mix). She has 2 dogs about Maggie’s size that were very friendly and played well with her. She was very accommodating to pickup and drop off times, and made sure to respond to messages quickly. She provided photos and videos throughout the 7 day stay to calm our nerves about our dog, and made sure that our dog felt very at home the whole time. I'm currently a proud pet mom to Winston, my loyal 8-year-old Chocolate Labrador; Bear, his mischievous 8-month-old Mini Dachshund brother; Sam, our curious 9-month-old cat; Theodore, our sweet 6-year-old bunny; and Tito, our 9-year-old feisty Green-Cheek Conure. She was available at the last minute during a family emergency with very short notice. She went above and beyond what one could expect. She enjoyed caring for many animals in our community as well as indoors. I enjoyed the daily reports and amazing pictures she has shared. She helped socialize some of the feral animals which is amazing. She even acknowledged one of them needed medical attention and helped us get a urinary tract infection treated. I recently visited my daughter and while I was there I had the privilege to join her on some of her dog walks and found it to be a true pleasure, and therapeutic, to meet her clients, love on and walk their pets. “We were honestly a little nervous about using Rover for the first time, especially with four dogs, but we decided to take a chance and are so glad we found Lorraine. We were gone overnight, and she came by several times to let the girls out, feed them, and spend some time with them. One of the biggest things we appreciated was that our dogs didn’t have to deal with the stress of leaving the house and going to a boarding facility. They got to stay in their own home, in their own environment, play, relax, and keep their normal routine while we were away. Our dogs are usually very good at letting us know how they feel about people, and they took to Lorraine almost immediately. That alone made us feel so much better. You could tell she was comfortable with them and genuinely cared about making sure they were happy and taken care of. She kept us updated every time she stopped by and sent pictures, which we really appreciated. We also have motion-activated cameras at home, and from the clips we received, it was clear the girls were relaxed, happy, and comfortable with her during each visit. That gave us even more peace of mind while we were away. Lorraine did exactly what we asked and then some. She was reliable, easy to communicate with, and treated our dogs like they mattered to her. We went into this a little unsure about using Rover, but Lorraine completely changed our minds. From now on, she’s our pet sitter. We trust her with our girls, and that says a lot. About: I’ve taken care of pets of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to play with and care for your pets. I am available for boarding every night. I do not mind traveling outside of my service area, over 30 miles, for in home sitting but I would need to add $20 extra to the price to recoup some of my gas money. I will care for your pets and meet their special needs. I will take them for potty breaks every 2 hours while boarding overnight and however many times requested while stopping by for some outside time. I will also send fun pics to you so you know they are loved while you are away. **Please ensure you bring along any food for your pet, as I do not provide this due to individual diets. Also anything else that would bring extra comfort to them etc, blankets, crates (although I have a large crate if needed), bedding, toys, treats as well as any medications or probiotics/vitamins they are taking.

I have been involved in youth programs that taught kids how to raise pigs and show them at local county fairs. I retired from a 20 year career in healthcare 4 years ago.
