“Danielle was great! Responded to our request quickly and was able to come through on such short notice. Zeke is still a puppy so walking him can be a struggle sometimes so We thank her for her patience! Our pup looked like he enjoyed seeing a new face and the afternoon walk :)”

“Absolutely 5 Stars ... Lewis loved her. She communicated with us in a timely manner. We boarded Lewis with her and she did an outstanding job. We will use her again without doubt!!!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Dorothy. She came to my rescue when my dog walker canceled at the last minute. Buster and Polly love her. I booked service for Buster. When Dorothy came to take Buster for a walk; Polly wanted to go. Dorothy graciously offered to walk Polly too.. I appreciate her concern for the dogs and my mom who was watching the dogs,”

About: I have experience with all size dogs and ages. I am nurturing and caring and I will treat your animal with love, respect and consideration. This will currently be my main job. I was recently separated from a work at home position so I am 100 percent available for care. I prefer to come to your home to care for your animals, however I am open to well behaved small to medium sizes in my home. I love large breeds too and if yours is relaxed, I’m open to meeting . Your pet must be on flea & tic medicine. I cannot take on a pet that is not protected.
About: I treat every pet like my own—with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. I focus on creating a stress-free experience for both you and your pets, offering reliable communication, flexible scheduling, and genuine care that goes beyond just feeding and walking. Your pets will feel safe, loved, and right at home—even when you’re away. Just like any other event in daily routine, with ease I have open availability for drop in visits, overnight and extended care on Saturdays and Sundays Lots of love and cuddles with Escobar (my mini-french bulldog) always ensuring to stay vigilant with my fur baby. Being mind ful of security risk and eyes on them at all times

About: As a child I always had an affinity for animals. My caribbean grandmother never let me keep animals in the house unless they were in cages, despite all the strays and runaway pets we encountered and spent time taking care of till they collected. From those interactions I learned very early that animals are just like us without the vocal communication and needed our help in taking care of themselves. The companionship that our pets give us in nothing short of a miracle and they deserve our best efforts and care! I'm currently a part time student/apprentice at an independent fashion school, so I will most definitely have lots of time to be of aid to anyone that needs it. Im available weekdays and weekends except sunday afternoons for class! I keep pets safe by ensuring their safe and in their designated places in the home, whether thats caged or in a respective room. I make sure to triple check cages and do my best to keep doggies calm and relaxed while crating. I stay alert and situationally aware when walking them, keeping them leashed and being extra cautious around other animals and the road.
About: I've grown up with dogs and other animals almost my whole life! I've watched dogs for friends and family, and dogs of all sizes! I love each and every pet I meet, and have a beloved little dog of my own! I believe each and every pet has their own personality, and each deserve their own unique love, care, and quality time. From big, small, old and young, I will take care of your pet as if they were my very own! I am currently not employed in a work setting, but do work on my side business as a crocheter part time, so I will have plenty of time for your fur babies! My schedule is very flexible, so I can work with your schedule too! I have a partially fenced yard, with one small side not fenced, so taking dogs out on a leash is no problem for me! In home there are no breakable items within reach of any sized pet, and no harmful items within reach either. My super comfy couch and bed is pet friendly so your fur babies can rest their heads wherever they would like! If going for a walk, I live on a road that stretches almost a mile long with a sidewalk on both sides. If in the clients home, the house will be respected and any notes or rules will be followed (ex. House codes and gate codes, potty breaks outside, walks, any needs of the pet). If a pet needs medication, assistance or any other specific care, I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is healthy and happy!

My schedule is very flexible. I can take great care of your pets at your home or mine. I also can do walks or drop in play time. If your pet comes to my home they will be let out back on a lead line and walked. I can come to your home as well as many times as you would like to feed and give plenty of water while your away. I will always write, text or video an update each time I visit. And will do the same if they stay at my home. Giving medications is not an issue for me. Just leave instructions and I will exceed your expectations.
About: Hello! I have had dogs my entire life. As a youngster, I had a poodle named Gidget. She was such a wonderful part of my growing up years. Playing ball with her is a treasured memory. Over the years I have always had dogs. I've enjoyed obedience training my fur babies and have even competed at times in AKC trials. At my house we have large and small dogs, so I'm used to all sizes! Evenings we cuddle on the couch and weekends we go for car rides, walks, or to Lowes! I also have several grand pups ranging from seven pounds to 100! I would love the opportunity to check in with your pet(s) or take them for walks. I'm looking forward to hearing from you! I will take your pet for walks, feed your pet, and provide play/ run time as requested. Taking care of your pet in your home will be my pleasure. As a retiree, my schedule is pretty open. Please check my calendar for availability and don't hesitate to ask questions. If you need more availability, please let me know. I will care for your pets in your home by following your routines and directions. Consistency is important to prevent confusion when the owner is away.

About: While I’m new to Rover, I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have always been a big dog lover. In 2022, my family got our dog Roxi, who is like my best friend. With Roxi, I’ve been fully involved in everything, walking her, feeding her, training her, and making sure she stays active and happy. I’ve also grown up helping to look after family dogs when relatives go away, so I’m used to different personalities and routines. I’m originally from Ireland and recently moved to Florida after completing my MBA at Marshall University in West Virginia. I now coach youth soccer, so I’m very active, responsible, and used to being around people (and animals) all the time. Moving to the U.S. has been a big change for me, and being away from my family and my own dog has definitely made me miss them a lot, and it’s made me appreciate even more how much I love being around dogs every day. I’d say I’m quite laid-back, reliable, and easy to get along with. I like being outdoors, staying active, and I’m always up for a walk or keeping a dog company rather than just sitting around. I’m also very respectful of people’s homes and routines, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I know how much dogs mean to their owners because mine means everything to me, so I always treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. I’m happy to send updates and photos as well, so owners feel completely comfortable while they’re away. Right now, I coach soccer in the evenings during the week and sometimes on weekends, usually for a couple of hours. Outside of that, my schedule is very flexible. I’m generally available in the mornings, afternoons, and often evenings for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. My coaching hours are not long, so I’m able to work around pet care easily and adjust my schedule when needed. I take care of pets in their own homes so they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I make sure they’re well looked after with things like feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, and giving medication if needed. I also keep things clean and stick to their usual routine as much as possible. I always spend time with the pets too, whether that’s playing with them or just keeping them company so they don’t feel lonely while you’re away. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how they’re doing. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for the whole time.
About: I've had pets for many years now, ranging from cats and dogs to fish. I've had experience caring for both senior dogs and cats, as well as kittens and puppies, and pretty much everything in between. I've been able to break through with very shy animals, and am always up for a challenge! I'm a college student, and have classes mostly in the mornings, sometimes running just until noon. I volunteer throughout the week, but I am willing to work around those dates for your pet. I am willing to work with whatever guidelines you may have to keep you pet safe, regarding anything from crating, leashing, outside time, or any other regulations you may have in place.
“Wonderful & clear communication. Lee Ann was able to accommodate a short notice walk for my two pups and communicated promptly through the whole process. She provided some wonderful recommendations for the area and settled my concerns about the breed of dog we have. Would absolutely recommend her over and over! Thanks for such great care for my animals.”

About: I’ve cared for animals all of my life. I have 2 years of experience working in a boarding facility, have volunteered at a local shelter, and have dog & cat sat for friends and family for years. I have a large friendly dog and a friendly cat who get along well with other dogs. As well, I have the free time to make sure that your dog gets the best care so that you can rest assured that they are in good hands. I’ve just moved to the area and am home to care for your dog through out the day. I take my dog out for walks every 2-3 hours starting around 8am every morning. I have plenty of space to walk the dog around, with open grassy areas. I am available through the entire day to attend to the dog. My dog is very friendly and loves to play, he is up to date on vaccines and his flea, tick and heart worm medications.

About: Hi there! Our passion for animals has reached over 7 years now, having strong skills in newborn puppies up to adult and senior dogs, with different dog diets, medications, grooming, love and care. Basic training is a skill we’ve been practice and grow on everyday as well to ensure structure and respect ☺️ We work from home so we are very attentive and ready to give cuddles at all times! We live in a pet friendly community so our dog walks are very fun! We do walks 3-4 times a day and 2-3 feedings usually unless special attention is needed and always adjust and adapt our routine. We have our doggie section of the house where they rest and enjoy some chill time, at anytime they are free to come join us while we work as we are very lenient and flexible with our time. We also have play times where they can have snacks and toys to enjoy throughout the day so there’s never a dull moment in our days!
About: I work at the Florida Wildlife Hospital as an animal care technician! There I work with vet techs to rehab and release wildlife! I also have been caring for Dogs, Cats, and Rodents since I was really young! Growing up, we always had dogs and cats that I helped care for and love. From dogs as small as Teacup Yorkies to as giant as Great Danes, we have owned them and I know their needs! I have helped raise a few from being puppies, a few we fostered, and others were older when we got them. I have experience with many animals in the house at once as well, we frequented about 6 at a time! Over my travels the last few years, I have been able to help many families care for their pets while they were away, and it is my passion to give them each the care they need to the best of my abilities. I will sacrifice time, energy, and anything your pet needs to stay healthy and THRIVING! p.s. I also have experience caring for and working with horses if that applies! I have only recently moved to Florida from Australia and I work at the Florida Wildlife Hospital as an animal car technician! I work there on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. If I am staying at your home and caring for your pets, I will not only be passionate about providing every need they will have, but also will take great care of your home! I am standardly a clean person, and when I am in a space that is not mine, I will treat it even better, and with the utmost respect! You can expect it to be clean and pleasing for when you return.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Palm Shores
Andrew did an excellent job caring for Morgan. He demonstrated strong time management, attention to detail, and clear communication throughout the process. I greatly appreciated receiving photos during Morgan’s walk and seeing how happy and well cared for she was. We will certainly be reaching out again for future walks and would highly recommend Andrew to friends and family.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
