About: I grew up in a house with lots of animals, dogs, cats, chickens, even some more exotic ones like iguanas, tarantulas, rats. I have experience with horses, goats and livestock. As well as an associates in Veterinary Technology, along with that comes experience handling and giving medications. I'm currently going back to school for an Environmental Science Bachelors. My dog is also on 2x day walk/ 2x day eating schedule so I am happy to accommodate any special needs! I have a sweet almost 3yr old dog that would happily keep any animal company, a yard to play in and lots of toys. I have multiple crates to accommodate if your pet would prefer to have a safe space. I would love them like my own!
About: Dogs are a gift from heaven. It’s important to understand them and give them the same unconditional respect, compassion and love they give to us. I am a mother of two beautiful dogs one named Simba (with mom in France), and my princess named Angel. She was in the shelter her whole life. I was told it would be tough to accommodate her to a normal life, but I realized that all she needed was to feel loved, safe and mostly by my side forever! She understood from the moment I rescued her that she had a furrrever home :) Also, I’m a dual citizen, French and American, so if your dog comes home speaking French don’t be surprised 😁 Availability is based upon demand. I accommodate as much as possible to make sure your baby will be taken care of at the time needed. Learning more about the pet by asking their owners the routine, character, likes or dislikes, but mostly I observe the pet and follow directions given to me.
“Being a working mom, it is hard trying to do it all. I was in a bind and needed help. My friend recommended to try Josh on Rover. I have never had any experience with Rover before, but I had no choice as I needed the help. I booked with Josh which was super-fast and easy. He approved the walk right away. Well, I would too if you saw a picture of my sweet dog. Josh was punctual and seems like a really nice gentleman. Nala was so happy to go on a walk, she just darted out the door with him. Josh made sure to give nala all the love I would have given her if I had the time to walk her. This experience with Rover and Josh as a walker was wonderful. I would highly recommend using Josh.”

“Brian is an amazing dog sitter! Our dogs were comfortable with him the second they met him. He was consistently on time to feed and walk the boys and always sent a quick summary and pictures to hold us over until we could get back home to them. We will definitely be asking Brian to watch our dogs again in the future!”

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I've been independently responsible for my own dogs for the past 11 years. I've cared for dogs ranging from small breeds to 75+ lb dogs of my own, with experience around dogs over 100 lbs as well. I've raised dogs from puppyhood through their senior years and understand how much their needs, personalities and routines can change along the way. My experience includes daily walks and exercise, feeding, bathing and grooming, oral and topical medications, vet appointments, and caring for an aging dog through serious illness. Most importantly, I understand that someone's dog isn't just a pet. They're family. I'll treat yours with the same patience, attention and care I treat my own family. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits and house sitting throughout the week. I’m available most mornings, afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends, and I’m happy to work with you to maintain the routine your pet is already comfortable with. I provide care primarily in your pet’s own home, where they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep doors, gates and leashes secure, and communicate regularly with updates and photos. I’m also happy to take the time to learn your pet’s individual personality, routine and boundaries before providing care.
About: I’ve spent the last 18 years as a trusted Realtor in Brevard County, which means I’ve already met (and usually become friends with) a lot of the local cats and dogs. My clients trusted me with access to their homes, and I took that responsibility seriously every single time. I’ve also been a lifelong pet owner. From tiny Yorkies to Labs, retrievers, and plenty of cats with big personalities, caring for animals has always been one of my favorite parts of life. I spent my teens and early 20s volunteering with rescue cat and dog rescue groups in South Florida Confession: as a Realtor, I looked forward to seeing my clients’ pets more than the actual appointment. Don’t tell the humans. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, cuddles, or just someone reliable to keep them company, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. My goal is simple: give you peace of mind and make sure your furry family member has a great time while you’re away. I’m currently working part-time in real estate so I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pets. Whether it’s a drop in for your cat, or multiple daily walks with your labrador, your pets care is my top priority. After 18 years in real estate, I know that trust is everything—especially when someone is caring for your home and your beloved pets. I’m responsible, respectful, and a little obsessed with making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and spoiled while you’re away.

About: I've been a dog owner my entire life, often caring for multiple dogs simultaneously. This experience has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior and needs, and I've successfully trained all my dogs in basic obedience commands. Beyond personal pet ownership, I have pet-sitting experience, including caring for both dogs and cats. I'm comfortable with various services, from quick drop-in visits to overnight stays, and I'm prepared to handle any situation, including pet emergencies. As a trustworthy and dependable individual, you can count on me to provide responsible and loving care for your pets. My experience includes handling and walking dogs of all sizes and breeds, including pit bulls, so I'm confident in my ability to manage even the most energetic pups. My work-from-home status provides me with a flexible schedule, allowing me to easily accommodate pet-sitting requests. While I can often arrange in-home visits with a couple of days' notice (pending any pre-existing commitments), booking in advance is always appreciated to ensure availability. This flexibility allows me to tailor my schedule to best meet your pet's needs. When caring for your pet in your home, my priority is creating a comfortable and loving environment that mirrors their usual routine as closely as possible. I'll follow your specific instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any medications your pet requires. Beyond the basics, I believe in providing plenty of attention, whether that's through playtime, cuddles, or simply quiet companionship. I'm happy to engage in activities your pet enjoys, such as walks, fetch, or toys. I'll also keep a close eye on their overall well-being, noting any changes in behavior or appetite, and will immediately communicate any concerns to you. Ultimately, my goal is to provide your pet with the same love and care they receive from you, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved in your absence.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
