I will do whatever it takes to make your pet feel safe as well as happy. I have a heart for animals and I have since I was a child. I follow your rules and do what you want. I currently have a cat of my own along with 6 fish. I just moved to Orlando, but want to get to know the area much more. I work currently part time as a librarian. My schedule is pretty flexible as of right now, and I would love to be able to assist you with your pets! As someone who has worked with animals professionally and since I was a child. I understand that every pet is different and I will gladly be able to be flexible with their needs in your home.

About: I've grown up with dogs and other animals almost my whole life! I've watched dogs for friends and family, and dogs of all sizes! I love each and every pet I meet, and have a beloved little dog of my own! I believe each and every pet has their own personality, and each deserve their own unique love, care, and quality time. From big, small, old and young, I will take care of your pet as if they were my very own! I am currently not employed in a work setting, but do work on my side business as a crocheter part time, so I will have plenty of time for your fur babies! My schedule is very flexible, so I can work with your schedule too! I have a partially fenced yard, with one small side not fenced, so taking dogs out on a leash is no problem for me! In home there are no breakable items within reach of any sized pet, and no harmful items within reach either. My super comfy couch and bed is pet friendly so your fur babies can rest their heads wherever they would like! If going for a walk, I live on a road that stretches almost a mile long with a sidewalk on both sides. If in the clients home, the house will be respected and any notes or rules will be followed (ex. House codes and gate codes, potty breaks outside, walks, any needs of the pet). If a pet needs medication, assistance or any other specific care, I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is healthy and happy!
“We have been using Mary for about 6 weeks now for mid-day walks; she is attentive, dependable, trustworthy, and just an all around great caretaker of our new pup Dasher! If there were a 6 star rating, that’s how we would rate Mary! ric and steph”

“It was a reassurance and a pleasure to have Samantha as a new caretaker for Charlee, my Rottweiler. In service, communications and caring she went beyond expectations! Looking forward to our next meeting!”

About: Hello, Nice to meet you! I am a Brevard county local and WFH registered nurse. I enjoy spending time with my family, my pets, going to the beach, searching for shark teeth and traveling. I enjoy finding local spots that are pet friendly so that I can bring my dog with me :) I have had chihuahuas since I was 5 years old. Currently, I have a healthy 5 year old Merle long haired chihuahua named Hugo. He is the alpha and prefers to be with female dogs that are calm and submissive. He likes to sleep for most of the day. If I am watching your dog at my house and your dog and Hugo don’t get along, Hugo is happy to go over to his grandparents house to get spoiled by them :) In 2022, my 18 year old chihuahua and best friend passed away. He had a long life and during his last few years, I put my RN experience to work and became his dog nurse giving him eye drops, ear drops, and oral medications. I've had roommates with cats and large dogs (Lab, pit bull, corgi) in the past, and I have experience helping to take care of them as well. I also have a lot of experience dog and cat sitting for friends. Please don't hesitate to message me if you have any questions and I will be happy to answer them! I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! Im currently working from home so my schedule is flexible during the day. I usually try to take a long walk during my lunch break! I know that every pet has different needs and I am happy to follow any instructions that you give that work best for your pet! *My home has stairs inside and the backyard is completely fenced in with concrete and mulch
“Sophia has been walking our pittie Felicia for several weeks now and we are so happy to have found her. She is great with our energetic, young dog. She is always on time and responsive to walk requests. We highly recommend her services!”

About: I have had 4 very different dogs over 30+ yrs and really enjoyed having them in my life. I loved and trained each one through various stages and challenges of dog life. My current dog is approaching a year old. Recently retired, I finally have free time to devote to animals. I love to take walks and would love nothing more than to help working owners with walking and/or playing with their dog(s). I always felt bad for my dog's long days alone when I worked fulltime. I feel there would be less dogs in shelters if people had more time to give their pets the exercise they need to be happy and healthy. This opportunity would be a win-win for both me and a lucky dog!
About: Hello Pet Parents! My name is Kayleen, and animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have worked in veterinary hospitals, professionally cared for pets in clients' homes, volunteered with dog rescues, and participated in animal welfare projects both in the United States and internationally. My experience includes caring for family pets, rescue dogs, street dogs, farm animals, puppies, senior pets, and animals with unique behavioral and emotional needs. I began my animal care journey working in veterinary hospitals, where I learned the importance of safety, observation, communication, and compassionate care. Later, I worked professionally as a dog walker and pet sitter with Paws to Consider in Boston, providing dog walks, overnight pet sitting, cat care, medication support, and detailed updates with photos and notes for pet parents. My rescue experience includes working with Everglades Angels Dog Rescue in Florida, Care for Dogs in Thailand, and The Dog Squad in India. Through these experiences I learned how to build trust with fearful, shy, and traumatized animals using patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. I have assisted with socialization, leash training, transportation, enrichment activities, adoption events, and daily care for rescue dogs from a wide variety of backgrounds. I have also lived and traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. Caring for animals in many different homes and cultures taught me that every pet and every family is unique. I take time to learn your pet's routines, personality, preferences, and comfort needs so I can provide care that feels familiar, safe, and loving while you are away. I understand that trusting someone with your beloved companion and your home is a big decision. I strive to provide reliable communication, thoughtful care, plenty of updates, and complete respect for your home and your pet's established routine. My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for, and that you have peace of mind knowing they are in capable and compassionate hands. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through an online program while also working remotely as an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Practitioner and Mental Health Coach. Because both my studies and work are conducted remotely, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable and attentive pet care throughout the week. Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle and is something I genuinely enjoy. My schedule allows me to accommodate morning, midday, evening, and weekend visits, as well as overnight stays when needed. I spend much of my time working from home, which enables me to provide pets with companionship, supervision, exercise, and consistent care. Throughout my career in animal care, veterinary settings, rescue work, and pet sitting, I have learned that animals thrive on routine, patience, and positive attention. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, medication administration, enrichment activities, or simply a calm and caring presence, I take pride in providing reliable, individualized care that helps them feel safe and comfortable while you're away. As someone who works professionally in a helping role, I value responsibility, communication, trust, and attention to detail. Pet parents can expect timely updates, photos, and the peace of mind that their beloved companion is receiving compassionate, attentive care I understand that our pets are family members, and that trusting someone to care for them, and to enter your home, is a big decision. I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both pets and their people. I believe quality pet care goes beyond feeding and walks; it involves understanding each animal's unique personality, routine, preferences, and emotional needs. I take the time to learn what helps your pet feel comfortable, secure, and happy so I can maintain as much consistency as possible while you are away. I also treat every client's home with the utmost respect and care. Having lived, traveled, and cared for animals in many different homes and environments throughout the United States and abroad, I understand that every household has its own routines, expectations, and way of doing things. I strive to honor those preferences and leave your home exactly as you would expect. Before providing care, I like to discuss your pet's routines, behaviors, medical needs, safety concerns, and any special instructions so we can create a plan tailored to your pet and your family's needs. Clear communication helps ensure the highest level of safety, wellbeing, and peace of mind for everyone involved. Above all, I want your pet to feel safe, loved, and cared for, and for you to feel confident knowing they are in compassionate, reliable hands. 🐾❤️
About: I have been a dog owner my whole life, and have been pet sitting since I was a teenager. I have experience with puppies, older dogs, special needs (lots of medication) dogs, and working with multiple dogs at one time. My favorite part about working with dogs is being able to run and play with them. I am available early mornings and late nights. I also love trail walking/running, so I'll make sure your dog gets the exercise they need! I follow a rigorous routine of walking/running with my own dogs, and will take the same care with yours! Based on your pets exercise level, we can walk/run for up to an hour as needed. Caring for other dogs involves building trust through playtime, walks, and of course, treats! Making sure your dog is comfortable on walks and overnights is the top most priority.

“Danielle did a wonderful job taking care of our puppy while we were gone for a long day. She did two dog walks. She is very professional and kind and I know Elli had a great time while Danielle was with her. We would definitely use Danielle again and recommend her!”
“Melinda is so awesome! I had complete peace of mind knowing that my sweet Ellie Mae was in loving and more than capable hands while I was out of town. When I need to travel out of town again - Melinda will be first on my list to take care of my babygirl - I trust her 100%!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
