Cynthia was a wonderful walking buddy with our Moonpie. Moonpie was taken with her from the moment they had the meet and greet. She was flexible enough to walk the dog later in the day because Moonpie is sensitive to the heat. She even made sure he had plenty of water after each walk. We could see her care and concern for our dog. We would definitely call her again.

About: I have cared for dogs since I was 12. Weather it's my own, a friends, or neighbors, they all get love as if my own! I've trained my own dog and cared for her as she's become an old lady, so I know what it takes at all ages. I am currently available all throughout the day 7 days a week. I can play with them outside, go on walks, play inside, or whatever they need. Since I will be going to the clients home, I will follow whatever rules they have in place. The main goal is to keep the animals safe. I understand the fur babies will be hesitant at first meeting someone new, so I will take it slow to be sure they feel comfortable.

About: My wife and I have been pet sitting for several years. My clients have all become part of the family. I genuinely love being around animals, going for walks and spending time with animals. We were dog sitting previously in Canada while living there, we would be happy to provide you with additional references. We have the friendliest 7 year old Irish setter who absolutely loves being around people and dogs (He spends a lot of his time at Fred Popp dog park running in circles for an hour). He loves both large and small dogs and he does not seem to care if they are female or male. When pet sitting at your home, my dog will stay home with his other family members . We work from home so were always around. We love walking and being outdoors so your pet will get lots of exercise (I can track the pets walks on my phone and send updates and photos so you know your buddy is having a great time). We will always discuss the pets needs before caring for them as every pet is different and deserves the staycation that's best for them. We will discuss the pets' needs with the owner and come up with a plan that they are comfortable. (I'll do my best to stick to the same routine they have at home )

About: Hi! I’m Trianna, and I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life—I've had three since I was little, each with their own personality, quirks, and needs, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of breeds and energy levels. I currently live with two cats, so I also understand the importance of respecting boundaries and caring for different types of pets. Whether it’s going for a walk, playing fetch, or just giving your pup some company and attention while you're away, I’ll treat your dog like one of my own. I’m reliable, patient, and love building trust with the pets I care for. Currently employed at a pet daycare/ boarding business so I have all my clearances and training to work with any type of animal :) Can’t wait to meet your furry best friend! I am currently training as a pilot so my early mornings has me working till around 11. I am free on most weekends and am willing to wake up as early as needed to give your pet the attention it needs :)) Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure to follow any specific instructions you provide and take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and needs. I use secure leashes, avoid unsafe areas, and never leave pets unattended. Whether we’re out on a walk or relaxing at home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment where your dog or cat feels safe, loved, and cared for—just like they would with you.

I have a sweet almost 3yr old dog that would happily keep any animal company, a yard to play in and lots of toys. I have multiple crates to accommodate if your pet would prefer to have a safe space. I would love them like my own!

I have 3 fur babies: 1 senior dog, 1 young adult dog, and 1 cat. I have experience with dogs with anxiety, reactive dogs, small dogs, large dogs, cats, and fish. I am happy to drop-in for a visit or take your dog on a walk! I am a homemaker who is interested in providing dog walks or drop-in visits for any pet around midday Monday through Friday. Do you need someone to let out your dog while you are at work? I am the girl for you! I am available for drop-in visits or dog walks in the client's home or neighborhood. About: While I’m new to Rover, I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have always been a big dog lover. In 2022, my family got our dog Roxi, who is like my best friend. With Roxi, I’ve been fully involved in everything, walking her, feeding her, training her, and making sure she stays active and happy. I’ve also grown up helping to look after family dogs when relatives go away, so I’m used to different personalities and routines. I’m originally from Ireland and recently moved to Florida after completing my MBA at Marshall University in West Virginia. I now coach youth soccer, so I’m very active, responsible, and used to being around people (and animals) all the time. Moving to the U.S. has been a big change for me, and being away from my family and my own dog has definitely made me miss them a lot, and it’s made me appreciate even more how much I love being around dogs every day. I’d say I’m quite laid-back, reliable, and easy to get along with. I like being outdoors, staying active, and I’m always up for a walk or keeping a dog company rather than just sitting around. I’m also very respectful of people’s homes and routines, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I know how much dogs mean to their owners because mine means everything to me, so I always treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. I’m happy to send updates and photos as well, so owners feel completely comfortable while they’re away. Right now, I coach soccer in the evenings during the week and sometimes on weekends, usually for a couple of hours. Outside of that, my schedule is very flexible. I’m generally available in the mornings, afternoons, and often evenings for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. My coaching hours are not long, so I’m able to work around pet care easily and adjust my schedule when needed. I take care of pets in their own homes so they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I make sure they’re well looked after with things like feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, and giving medication if needed. I also keep things clean and stick to their usual routine as much as possible. I always spend time with the pets too, whether that’s playing with them or just keeping them company so they don’t feel lonely while you’re away. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how they’re doing. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for the whole time.

About: *Rover Affiliate since Sept 2014* Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. I feel I have a calm presence about me and my home reflects that, however, fun is to be had here! Bring toys and treats. We will go on walks, play, and maybe stop at a dog friendly cafe. I especially like trail walking at a park or going to the dog beach. I mostly work from home and can provide paid extras like dog bathing and nail dremmel care. I only board dogs from one owner at a time, so all my attention goes to your furbabies. Safety is a big concern. No need to worry about fights with other dogs, transmissable viruses, or having small children around. If your dog can not be around ANY other pets in public, that's ok too. I'm also very attentive when it comes to dispensing daily medication. A little about me: As a small child, I grew up with a German shepherd named Yenta. As a pre teen, after asking many times, we welcomed a mixed shepherd/husky into our family. I mulled over names for such a long time - Bandit because I had a cat named Smokey- somehow we all agreed on the name "Ralphy"...funny! I have not owned a dog, aside from when I lived with my family growing up. I don't feel that I can make that commitment just yet. I believe most dogs should be outdoors often and run off their endless energy. Lap dogs or elder dogs have different priorities, of course. I have a natural affection towards animals. Partnering with Rover allows me to enjoy your dogs but not have the commitment of having one. Big, small, come one, come all! My world does not just revolve around dogs! I also enjoyed having cats around my childhood home. They certainly are uniquely different from dogs. I cared for eight cats for a few months in a big, old home in Philadelphia in 2014. It was interesting to observe them interacting together, as they are not "pack animals." About this sitter: I'm an animal lover and enjoy being out in nature…so that means your dog WILL get walked a lot. I'm a responsible person that has your dog's best interest always in mind. Why I love dog sitting: I enjoy having different breeds of dogs visit me and giving them a home away from home. They very often become my protector within the first day. You the pet parent may be going on vacation, but they will certainly have one too! They really are like people with their different personalities and habits. Since I am not a dog owner, it's a blessing to be trusted to enjoy their love and company. Thank you I'm self employed and spend lots of time at home or in the community. I worked over a year at a dog wellness/grooming business where I interacted with all breeds and behaviors. I have a very flexible schedule, so I can put your fur baby first. I love to be out and about, so that means your dog gets to come too! I follow the client's home instructions to a tee. The safety, care, and well being of your fur baby is top priority. Maybeck Veterinary is one mile from my home and Animal Specialty & Emergency Center of Brevard operates 24 hrs and is three miles from my home. Xx xx xx

About: I've been a dog owner my entire life, often caring for multiple dogs simultaneously. This experience has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior and needs, and I've successfully trained all my dogs in basic obedience commands. Beyond personal pet ownership, I have pet-sitting experience, including caring for both dogs and cats. I'm comfortable with various services, from quick drop-in visits to overnight stays, and I'm prepared to handle any situation, including pet emergencies. As a trustworthy and dependable individual, you can count on me to provide responsible and loving care for your pets. My experience includes handling and walking dogs of all sizes and breeds, including pit bulls, so I'm confident in my ability to manage even the most energetic pups. My work-from-home status provides me with a flexible schedule, allowing me to easily accommodate pet-sitting requests. While I can often arrange in-home visits with a couple of days' notice (pending any pre-existing commitments), booking in advance is always appreciated to ensure availability. This flexibility allows me to tailor my schedule to best meet your pet's needs. When caring for your pet in your home, my priority is creating a comfortable and loving environment that mirrors their usual routine as closely as possible. I'll follow your specific instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any medications your pet requires. Beyond the basics, I believe in providing plenty of attention, whether that's through playtime, cuddles, or simply quiet companionship. I'm happy to engage in activities your pet enjoys, such as walks, fetch, or toys. I'll also keep a close eye on their overall well-being, noting any changes in behavior or appetite, and will immediately communicate any concerns to you. Ultimately, my goal is to provide your pet with the same love and care they receive from you, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved in your absence.

We had a great introduction and walk. Our dog is afraid of new people, but with proper introduction (and the right treats) he warms up well. For this first walk we where present the whole time to make sure our dog’s comfort and confidence would open up. We wanted to find a Rover person who in future we could possibly board with. So we needed him to be happy and relaxed with the new Rover person. At first our dog was nervous and wary, which historically he usually is with new people. But after a bit time and space, yummy treats, and remaning a comfortable walking distance apart from Joshua, his curiousity grew enough where he was willing to approach. Josh got down to his level and which allowed our dog to approach Josh on his own will. When that moment happened we rewarded his curiousity with lots of praise and yummy treats. From then on we walked side by side with Joshua, and our dog warmed up enough where he was frequently looking back anticipating more pets and treats from Joshua during the walk. Joshua also asked us great questions about our dog and his history, to figure out how to best work with him. In the end our dog was so happy when Joshua said “good bye Stitch,” he actually did one last hop-skip towards Josh even though we were getting ready to go to our car the opposite direction away. We have much gratitude for the opportunity to work with Joshua to socialize him more. We are planning on booking in the future for some types of walks too and would be willing to board if needed.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
