“Tracy is beyond amazing !! She watched our two nervous rescue girls while we were out of state and did such a great job taking care of them and our home. She was extremely kind and patient with our slow to warm up dogs and won them over quickly. She was so communicative throughout the stay and sent us so many great pictures of our girls having the best time with her. She gave them so much love and quality time throughout the stay I don’t think they even missed us. We cannot recommend Tracy enough and are excited that our girls have such a great sitter that they will look forward to spending time with :)”

“Excellent care! The pets were happy and healthy and the house was in great shape when we got back from our 4-day trip. I would absolutely book again and recommend to a friend.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for both small and large dogs, including breeds such as Yorkshire Terriers, Labrador Retrievers, Goldendoodles, and more. I’ve also owned several indoor-only cats over the years, giving me a solid understanding of feline care and behavior. I know that every pet has a unique personality, and I strive to provide the same love, patience, and attention they receive at home so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I work from home Monday through Friday about 95% of the time, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. Unless I’m traveling for work or on holiday, I’m available for pet care, including during most major holidays. I have a home with a large, securely fenced yard where dogs can safely play and explore. My beloved Thumper, a 14-year-old Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix, crossed the rainbow bridge on April 24, 2026. While I no longer have pets of my own, caring for other people’s dogs and cats has become a meaningful way for me to continue sharing the love and companionship that animals bring. Whether your pet enjoys playtime or simply relaxing nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Dogs in my care enjoy daily morning and evening neighborhood walks, and they’re welcome to cuddle on the furniture and even the bed if that’s what they’re accustomed to at home. When house sitting, I treat your non-smoking/non-vaping home with the same respect and care as I would my own. In addition to providing attentive, loving care for your pets, I’m happy to perform light housekeeping, water indoor and outdoor plants, bring in mail or packages, and take care of other small household tasks we’ve agreed upon. My goal is to keep your pets happy, maintain their normal routine, and give you peace of mind while you’re away. When your pet stays with me, they’ll enjoy a clean, comfortable home with plenty of cozy dog beds, a large, securely fenced backyard for zoomies and playtime, and a toy box filled with fun toys. As a special welcome, every first-time boarding guest gets to take home a toy as a souvenir from their Dogcation! I believe pet parents deserve peace of mind while they’re away, so I provide daily photo and video updates, along with a personalized report card summarizing your pet’s stay, activities, eating habits, and overall experience. Because I work from home most of the week, I can offer plenty of one-on-one attention and companionship tailored to your pet’s individual needs. Whether they love to play, cuddle, or simply relax nearby, they’ll receive lots of love and personalized care. I’m highly organized, reliable, and flexible whenever possible with drop-off and pick-up times, including accommodating last-minute schedule changes. My goal is to make your pet’s stay as fun, safe, and stress free as possible for both you and your furry family member(s).
About: Dogs are a gift from heaven. It’s important to understand them and give them the same unconditional respect, compassion and love they give to us. I am a mother of two beautiful dogs one named Simba (with mom in France), and my princess named Angel. She was in the shelter her whole life. I was told it would be tough to accommodate her to a normal life, but I realized that all she needed was to feel loved, safe and mostly by my side forever! She understood from the moment I rescued her that she had a furrrever home :) Also, I’m a dual citizen, French and American, so if your dog comes home speaking French don’t be surprised 😁 Availability is based upon demand. I accommodate as much as possible to make sure your baby will be taken care of at the time needed. Learning more about the pet by asking their owners the routine, character, likes or dislikes, but mostly I observe the pet and follow directions given to me.
“Melissa was amazing!! My senior dog takes a lot of medications and has to wear a wrap right now, and Melissa made sure he got all of his meds and sent lots of pictures and updates.”

“Sophia was so great with our Beau. She followed our instructions to a T, sent us updates on him a few times a day, and even let him convince her to take him on more walks than he usually gets 😂 it was so great to be on vacation and not have to worry that Beau was being taken care of with the same amount of love that we would. Beau loves her and so do we! I couldn’t recommend her enough!!!”

“Emily is a top-notch petsitter, taking special care of my two kitties while I was away on a long vacation. It made the trip so much easier knowing they were in her care. We are so grateful for Kayla and the incredible care she gives our dog, Penni! It brings us so much peace of mind knowing Penni is not only safe, but truly loved when we’re away. Kayla is reliable, attentive, and goes above and beyond to make sure Penni is comfortable and happy. She keeps us updated, treats Penni like her own, and it’s clear how much she genuinely cares. She also does a great job with housesitting by bringing in our mail, packages, and groceries. We couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter, highly recommend Kayla to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind!
Christine was fantastic! The fur babies were happy and well cared for, and she went the extra mile to get our mail, and the house was spotless when we returned. We really appreciated the thorough communication during her stay and concern for their well being!

5 stars again! Ciara is an excellent cat sitter and went above and beyond throughout her stay. She sent regular updates, spent quality time playing with the cats, made sure they were well fed and hydrated, and kept their litter box and areas clean. She also administered medication on a strict schedule and was incredibly attentive to their needs. I would highly recommend her!

Juana was absolutely amazing with Pierre, my French Bulldog! From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely cared about his comfort and happiness. She kept me updated with adorable pictures and messages throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I came home, Pierre was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. Juana went above and beyond to make sure he felt at home, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. Thank you, Juana!

We highly recommend Brianna! She watched our three dogs—Tucker, Lacy, and Charlie—for five nights, and we could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease. Brianna provided excellent communication, sending us regular updates and fantastic pictures of the dogs looking happy and well-cared for. It was clear our dogs were getting lots of love and attention. She also went above and beyond our expectations by leaving our house spotlessly clean upon our return, which was a wonderful bonus. We will absolutely be using Brianna again! If you're looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter, look no further.

Grant takes the best care of our elderly Dutch Shepherd and our high energy Belgian Mal puppy. We are grateful to him every time he watches them for us and know they are in great hands and company with him there. Thank you for the peace of mind you provide, Grant! 10/10 star service.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred June Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in June Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in June Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in June Park. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
