“this young lady watched our two dachshunds overnight in our home. one of our dachshunds is handicapped with some paraplegic issues which affect her ability to control her bladder. We keep her in a doggie diaper when inside. she also needs to be lifted up and down so no jumping, stairs, etc. Lyris did an excellent job. she arrived on time, displayed a true caring attitude towards both our pets and us. We returned home to a clean house and two happy dogs. Will definitely call on her again...and again.”

About: While I’m new to Rover, I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have always been a big dog lover. In 2022, my family got our dog Roxi, who is like my best friend. With Roxi, I’ve been fully involved in everything, walking her, feeding her, training her, and making sure she stays active and happy. I’ve also grown up helping to look after family dogs when relatives go away, so I’m used to different personalities and routines. I’m originally from Ireland and recently moved to Florida after completing my MBA at Marshall University in West Virginia. I now coach youth soccer, so I’m very active, responsible, and used to being around people (and animals) all the time. Moving to the U.S. has been a big change for me, and being away from my family and my own dog has definitely made me miss them a lot, and it’s made me appreciate even more how much I love being around dogs every day. I’d say I’m quite laid-back, reliable, and easy to get along with. I like being outdoors, staying active, and I’m always up for a walk or keeping a dog company rather than just sitting around. I’m also very respectful of people’s homes and routines, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I know how much dogs mean to their owners because mine means everything to me, so I always treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. I’m happy to send updates and photos as well, so owners feel completely comfortable while they’re away. Right now, I coach soccer in the evenings during the week and sometimes on weekends, usually for a couple of hours. Outside of that, my schedule is very flexible. About: Animals have been a HUGE part of my life for over 10 years, both personally and professionally! My very first job was working at a doggy daycare before becoming a kennel technician at a veterinary clinic, where I gained a ton of experience caring for animals with all kinds of personalities and needs. Since then, I've done foster work within the Brevard community, taking in animals who needed a safe place to land. I have fostered 8 puppies (at once!), a few Great Danes, and most recently, our Black Lab, Bodie, who was initially a hospice foster due to his kidney disease, but after the rescue could not provide any more funding for his medical issues, we took matters into our own hands and he officially became a foster fail! Besides our most recent addition, Bodie, we have my first ever dog Kole who's now 8 years old, our 4-year-old Golden Retriever, Mac and two rescue cats, Abo and Rocky. But my love for animals goes far past just dogs and cats, I even had a Chinchilla and a Chinese Water Dragon! If there's one thing I understand, it's how hard it can be to trust someone with your animals. My pets mean the world to me, and I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for them. When your pets are in my care, I treat them like they’re my own, with patience, attention, and a BUNCH of love! My schedule is currently very flexible while I complete coursework online, so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets! I can easily work around different routines, schedules, and individual pet needs. I know how hard it can be to trust someone with your pets, so I take that seriously. I like to get to know each pet and their routine, including what they like, what they don’t like, and anything I should know before caring for them. 5 stars again! Ciara is an excellent cat sitter and went above and beyond throughout her stay. She sent regular updates, spent quality time playing with the cats, made sure they were well fed and hydrated, and kept their litter box and areas clean. We highly recommend Brianna! She watched our three dogs—Tucker, Lacy, and Charlie—for five nights, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Tina gave consistent care with feeding, potty breaks and medication. Our only reason for giving 4 stars is that our dog was given 3am potty breaks (as evidenced by our doorbell camera) because of Tina's work schedule. That resulted in a disruption of our dog's normal routine. Since returning home, we have had to work on getting her back on "normal" schedule with an approx breakfast/dinner potty breaks.
