“Tracy was an amazing live-in friend for our pit bull over the weekend. She took great care of him, sent pictures, and even cleaned up the apartment. All communications were prompt and clear. Plus she's a very nice person. If we could, we'd give her 10 stars.”

About: For 30 years, I’ve been a dedicated pet sitter and pet parent, caring for dogs, cats, birds, turtles, fish, and more. I’m experienced with pets of every size, age, and personality—from energetic puppies to seniors needing gentle support. Families have relied on me for decades because I bring calm, dependable, compassionate care to every visit and treat every pet like my own. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. With 30 years of experience as a pet sitter and pet parent, I’m used to structuring my day around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication needs, and keeping litter boxes fresh and deeply cleaned. We keep her in a doggie diaper when inside. she also needs to be lifted up and down so no jumping, stairs, etc. Lyris did an excellent job. she arrived on time, displayed a true caring attitude towards both our pets and us. About: I’m an animal lover who has owned various small and big dogs, eg Yorkies, Labs, etc., for most of my life. I’ve also owned a few indoor only cats over the years. I work from home (M-F) 95% of the time unless I’m traveling for work/holiday, which is about twice a year. I’m also available for most of the major holiday seasons. I have a home, with a large fenced in yard. My sweet Thumper, a 14 yrs., Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix, recently passed on April 24, 2026. So while I no longer have any pets, I find caring for other pets helps me keep busy and continue to share my love for dogs with quality care. I take the pup(s) out for daily morning and evening walks around the neighborhood. All dogs are welcome to cuddle on the sofas and beds. When housesitting in your home, I treat and care for your home as if it was my own. This includes light housekeeping, watering the indoor/outdoor plants and other small tasks as agreed upon. My primary goal is to spend as much quality time with your pet in the comfort of their home. For boarding, my home is clean and tidy with lots of comfortable dog beds and backyard space for zoomies! There’s also a large toy box full of fun toys for your pet to take home one souvenir at their first Dogcation adventure. Check out my guest photos! Daily pictures/videos for the owners and each pet receives their own report card on their stay. I can offer 1:1 time with your fur baby. I’m very organized and flexible for any last minute changes to drop-off/pickup times.
About: I’ve had a dog by my side since the day I was born. In fact, the only time in my entire life I haven't had a pup around was a single year during college, and that was one year too many. Dogs are a constant in my life, not just a hobby. I have a strong passion for working with disabled and special needs animals. Whether it's managing mobility issues, administering medication, or providing the extra patience required for physical or behavioral challenges, I’m fully committed to that level of care. I’m also very experienced with resource guarding and high energy breeds. I don’t just watch dogs; I work to understand their specific personality and needs so they feel safe and supported. Working from home gives me the flexibility to be truly present and attentive during the week. I am available Monday through Saturday for drop ins, dog walks, vet visits, conditioning sessions, dog transport, or love bombs. I am generally free to help out starting at 2:00 PM on weekdays and have much more open availability on Saturdays. I do not offer services on Sunday. I focus on high quality mobile care for your pups during the week. My priority is being entirely respectful of both your dog’s comfort and your home environment. I understand that every dog has a specific routine and safe space, and I make it a point to maintain that structure to keep stress levels low. You can count on me to be professional and meticulous with your property. I treat every home with the same level of care and respect I’d want for my own. Whether we are out for a walk or hanging out inside, I focus on clear communication and safety so you have total peace of mind.
“We were so fortunate that Ruth was available to watch our animals. We were so comfortable with her communication and care of our fur babies. Ruth went above and beyond to make sure that our babies were cared for and sent us numerous pictures while we were away. We are so glad to find a new sitter to trust our home and animals with since our regular sitter had a last-minute issue and was unable to sit for us. Thanks so very much, Ruth, for doing a great job. She even stayed later than we requested, which was appreciated.”

“Kyrstyn was an amazing pet sitter!! I needed someone on a very short notice and she was so accommodating to our family. Our dogs and cats loved her!! We are so grateful for Kayla and the incredible care she gives our dog, Penni! It brings us so much peace of mind knowing Penni is not only safe, but truly loved when we’re away. Kayla is reliable, attentive, and goes above and beyond to make sure Penni is comfortable and happy. She keeps us updated, treats Penni like her own, and it’s clear how much she genuinely cares. She also does a great job with housesitting by bringing in our mail, packages, and groceries. We couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter, highly recommend Kayla to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind!
Christine was fantastic! The fur babies were happy and well cared for, and she went the extra mile to get our mail, and the house was spotless when we returned. We really appreciated the thorough communication during her stay and concern for their well being!

5 stars again! Ciara is an excellent cat sitter and went above and beyond throughout her stay. She sent regular updates, spent quality time playing with the cats, made sure they were well fed and hydrated, and kept their litter box and areas clean. She also administered medication on a strict schedule and was incredibly attentive to their needs. I would highly recommend her!

Juana was absolutely amazing with Pierre, my French Bulldog! From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely cared about his comfort and happiness. She kept me updated with adorable pictures and messages throughout the stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I came home, Pierre was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. Juana went above and beyond to make sure he felt at home, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. Thank you, Juana!

We highly recommend Brianna! She watched our three dogs—Tucker, Lacy, and Charlie—for five nights, and we could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease. Brianna provided excellent communication, sending us regular updates and fantastic pictures of the dogs looking happy and well-cared for. It was clear our dogs were getting lots of love and attention. She also went above and beyond our expectations by leaving our house spotlessly clean upon our return, which was a wonderful bonus. We will absolutely be using Brianna again! If you're looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter, look no further.

Grant takes the best care of our elderly Dutch Shepherd and our high energy Belgian Mal puppy. We are grateful to him every time he watches them for us and know they are in great hands and company with him there. Thank you for the peace of mind you provide, Grant! 10/10 star service.

Josh did a great job caring for our big boy, Johnny. We had a last minute plan change and he was able to help us out. He took time to get to know Johnnys needs and provided really great communication while staying at our house. They became quick best friends! We will definitely be rebooking again in the future.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in June Park on Rover is $38.85 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 647 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across June Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred June Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in June Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in June Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in June Park. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
