“Kayleigh was the kindest most attetentive friend to our two kitties. Miss Walter (aka the brat) apparently warmed up to Kayleigh enough that Kayleigh called her "a lover" and "sweet". Don't get me wrong. We love Miss W. But she's a bit of a teenager. So that was wonderful to here. Our other shy little lady, Piglet, came out to visit a few times, which is big news for Piggy. We were gone for 2 weeks and never once had any worries about our cats' care, their wellbeing or whether Kayleigh knew what to do in an emergency. We got daily updates on them and pictures that made us able to relax and enjoy our first real vacation in 25 years. All thanks to Kayleigh and her expert care. I highly recommend her, she is sweet and kind, and extremely competent. We will be using her in the future, for sure!!”

“Where do I start? First impressions: Her home is odorless, despite having pets herself, clean, and tidy. No trash bags lying around, undone laundry, dirty rooms, etc. Cindy was so welcoming into her home, showing me exactly where my 3 cats would be hanging out until they got used to their new surroundings. Galaxy did need medicine, and Cindy gave it to him as directed. I got daily calls and/or texts, pictures, and I was able to ask her anything about my furbabies. They had lots of places to hide and investigate, the litter box was in the bathroom in a nice LARGE sheltered cubby, so they could "go" when a human does, if desired. She would hang out with them, love on them, let them love on her, and I highly recommend her!”

When we got to the front door, they went right in and based on many pictures we revived throughout the day, they seemed to be enjoying their stay! We already have a second booking and I am sure we will use them over and over again!”
About: We adopted our first pups in 2004 and cared for them for 18 pup-snuggled years. During that time, and since then, we have rescued, fostered and adopted animals of all kinds to include chickens, ducks and a pig named Kevin Bacon! Currently, we're home to Guinevere, the mild-mannered, 6 year-old rescued mutt. We do have an 11-year-old hooman "puppy" who is just as loving and respectful of animals as we are. We will love and care for your fur-babies as if they were our very own. We are home almost all day, every day, so your pet will never be alone. I homeschool our son, and my husband works from home. Your pet will have ample opportunities to play outside in our 1/2 acre back yard. Our neighborhood is very quiet with houses situated on ~acre lots. We have neighbors with dogs, but they usually just run over to the fence to say hello and then go about their business. In our home, your fur-babies can roam freely, and they will have access to our 1/2, partially shaded, completely fenced-in back yard as often as they need. If your dog is one who prefers walks, our peaceful neighborhood has lots of places to explore; there is a nice park 1/2 mile away where they can sniff around where all of the turtles and ducks like to hang out. Pups who stay with us overnight are welcome to stay in their crate (if that's what they prefer), anywhere in the house, and, likely, on one of our beds.

About: Hi there! My name is Kira and I'm 24 years old. I am a hug animal lover and have been taking care of pups and cats since I was very young. Growing up my step father was a vet tech, because of this he brought us along to pet sit for dogs and cat while people were away. I also have a cat name Walter and a dog named Disney who I love and care for. I also work front desk at Dogtopia of Viera were I have learned more about dog care as well. I understand how stressful it can be with leaving a pet at home by themselves and I want to help make that process easier for both you and your pet. About: I have cared for dogs since I was 12. Weather it's my own, a friends, or neighbors, they all get love as if my own! I have never had any experience with Rover before, but I had no choice as I needed the help. I booked with Josh which was super-fast and easy. He approved the walk right away. Well, I would too if you saw a picture of my sweet dog. Josh was punctual and seems like a really nice gentleman. Nala was so happy to go on a walk, she just darted out the door with him. I mostly work from home and can provide paid extras like dog bathing and nail dremmel care. I only board dogs from one owner at a time, so all my attention goes to your furbabies. Safety is a big concern. No need to worry about fights with other dogs, transmissable viruses, or having small children around. If your dog can not be around ANY other pets in public, that's ok too. I'm also very attentive when it comes to dispensing daily medication. A little about me: As a small child, I grew up with a German shepherd named Yenta. As a pre teen, after asking many times, we welcomed a mixed shepherd/husky into our family. I mulled over names for such a long time - Bandit because I had a cat named Smokey- somehow we all agreed on the name "Ralphy"...funny! I have not owned a dog, aside from when I lived with my family growing up. I don't feel that I can make that commitment just yet. I believe most dogs should be outdoors often and run off their endless energy. Lap dogs or elder dogs have different priorities, of course. I have a natural affection towards animals. Partnering with Rover allows me to enjoy your dogs but not have the commitment of having one. Big, small, come one, come all! My world does not just revolve around dogs! I also enjoyed having cats around my childhood home. They certainly are uniquely different from dogs. I cared for eight cats for a few months in a big, old home in Philadelphia in 2014. It was interesting to observe them interacting together, as they are not "pack animals." About this sitter: I'm an animal lover and enjoy being out in nature…so that means your dog WILL get walked a lot. I'm a responsible person that has your dog's best interest always in mind. Why I love dog sitting: I enjoy having different breeds of dogs visit me and giving them a home away from home. They very often become my protector within the first day. You the pet parent may be going on vacation, but they will certainly have one too! They really are like people with their different personalities and habits. Since I am not a dog owner, it's a blessing to be trusted to enjoy their love and company. Thank you I'm self employed and spend lots of time at home or in the community. I worked over a year at a dog wellness/grooming business where I interacted with all breeds and behaviors. I have a very flexible schedule, so I can put your fur baby first. I love to be out and about, so that means your dog gets to come too! I follow the client's home instructions to a tee. The safety, care, and well being of your fur baby is top priority. About: I’ve taken care of pets for a few years now, I have done dog walking and over-night care. I have proven to be reliable and have always loved it! I also have experience giving oral medications and injections to dogs and cats. I am an RN and have grown up with special needs animals so I now give care to animals and people! I can give meds to your fur babies no problem! I’m currently working as a nurse so I only work three days a week which gives me plenty of time for walks, trips to the park and lots of playtime! I am very good at following instructions for overnight care. I have made puzzle food bowls and frozen mats for pets along with taking them to the park and of course their usual walks. I do not mind staying with the pets in the same room the entire night and or frequent potty breaks during the night.
