About: We adopted our first pups in 2004 and cared for them for 18 pup-snuggled years. During that time, and since then, we have rescued, fostered and adopted animals of all kinds to include chickens, ducks and a pig named Kevin Bacon! Currently, we're home to Guinevere, the mild-mannered, 6 year-old rescued mutt. We do have an 11-year-old hooman "puppy" who is just as loving and respectful of animals as we are. We will love and care for your fur-babies as if they were our very own. We are home almost all day, every day, so your pet will never be alone. I homeschool our son, and my husband works from home. Your pet will have ample opportunities to play outside in our 1/2 acre back yard. Our neighborhood is very quiet with houses situated on ~acre lots. We have neighbors with dogs, but they usually just run over to the fence to say hello and then go about their business. In our home, your fur-babies can roam freely, and they will have access to our 1/2, partially shaded, completely fenced-in back yard as often as they need. If your dog is one who prefers walks, our peaceful neighborhood has lots of places to explore; there is a nice park 1/2 mile away where they can sniff around where all of the turtles and ducks like to hang out. Pups who stay with us overnight are welcome to stay in their crate (if that's what they prefer), anywhere in the house, and, likely, on one of our beds.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and I love animals. Previously I’ve had many dogs and cats and I’ve even worked at the volunteer animal shelter for 3 years. I’m currently retired and living alone and looking for something to do about once or twice a day for four to five days per week. Also can do boarding of one dog at a time. I walk dogs twice per day and feed dogs on a schedule. When I care for other people animals I look at notes they’ve left me and take care of their pets the way that they want their pet taken care of.

About: I grew up in a house with lots of animals, dogs, cats, chickens, even some more exotic ones like iguanas, tarantulas, rats. I have experience with horses, goats and livestock. As well as an associates in Veterinary Technology, along with that comes experience handling and giving medications. I'm currently going back to school for an Environmental Science Bachelors. My dog is also on 2x day walk/ 2x day eating schedule so I am happy to accommodate any special needs! I have a sweet almost 3yr old dog that would happily keep any animal company, a yard to play in and lots of toys. I have multiple crates to accommodate if your pet would prefer to have a safe space. I would love them like my own!

“We had a great introduction and walk. Our dog is afraid of new people, but with proper introduction (and the right treats) he warms up well. For this first walk we where present the whole time to make sure our dog’s comfort and confidence would open up. We wanted to find a Rover person who in future we could possibly board with. So we needed him to be happy and relaxed with the new Rover person. At first our dog was nervous and wary, which historically he usually is with new people. But after a bit time and space, yummy treats, and remaning a comfortable walking distance apart from Joshua, his curiousity grew enough where he was willing to approach. Josh got down to his level and which allowed our dog to approach Josh on his own will. When that moment happened we rewarded his curiousity with lots of praise and yummy treats. From then on we walked side by side with Joshua, and our dog warmed up enough where he was frequently looking back anticipating more pets and treats from Joshua during the walk. Joshua also asked us great questions about our dog and his history, to figure out how to best work with him. In the end our dog was so happy when Joshua said “good bye Stitch,” he actually did one last hop-skip towards Josh even though we were getting ready to go to our car the opposite direction away. We have much gratitude for the opportunity to work with Joshua to socialize him more. We are planning on booking in the future for some types of walks too and would be willing to board if needed.”

About: I have cared for dogs since I was 12. Weather it's my own, a friends, or neighbors, they all get love as if my own! I've trained my own dog and cared for her as she's become an old lady, so I know what it takes at all ages. I am currently available all throughout the day 7 days a week. I can play with them outside, go on walks, play inside, or whatever they need. Since I will be going to the clients home, I will follow whatever rules they have in place. Bring toys and treats. We will go on walks, play, and maybe stop at a dog friendly cafe. I especially like trail walking at a park or going to the dog beach. I mostly work from home and can provide paid extras like dog bathing and nail dremmel care. I only board dogs from one owner at a time, so all my attention goes to your furbabies. Safety is a big concern. No need to worry about fights with other dogs, transmissable viruses, or having small children around. If your dog can not be around ANY other pets in public, that's ok too. I'm also very attentive when it comes to dispensing daily medication. A little about me: As a small child, I grew up with a German shepherd named Yenta. As a pre teen, after asking many times, we welcomed a mixed shepherd/husky into our family. I mulled over names for such a long time - Bandit because I had a cat named Smokey- somehow we all agreed on the name "Ralphy"...funny! I have not owned a dog, aside from when I lived with my family growing up. I don't feel that I can make that commitment just yet. I believe most dogs should be outdoors often and run off their endless energy. Lap dogs or elder dogs have different priorities, of course. I have a natural affection towards animals. About this sitter: I'm an animal lover and enjoy being out in nature…so that means your dog WILL get walked a lot. I'm a responsible person that has your dog's best interest always in mind. Why I love dog sitting: I enjoy having different breeds of dogs visit me and giving them a home away from home. They very often become my protector within the first day. You the pet parent may be going on vacation, but they will certainly have one too! They really are like people with their different personalities and habits. About: I’ve had a dog by my side since the day I was born. In fact, the only time in my entire life I haven't had a pup around was a single year during college, and that was one year too many. Dogs are a constant in my life, not just a hobby. I have a strong passion for working with disabled and special needs animals. Whether it's managing mobility issues, administering medication, or providing the extra patience required for physical or behavioral challenges, I’m fully committed to that level of care. I’m also very experienced with resource guarding and high energy breeds. I don’t just watch dogs; I work to understand their specific personality and needs so they feel safe and supported. Working from home gives me the flexibility to be truly present and attentive during the week. I am available Monday through Saturday for drop ins, dog walks, vet visits, conditioning sessions, dog transport, or love bombs. I am generally free to help out starting at 2:00 PM on weekdays and have much more open availability on Saturdays. I do not offer services on Sunday. I focus on high quality mobile care for your pups during the week. My priority is being entirely respectful of both your dog’s comfort and your home environment. I understand that every dog has a specific routine and safe space, and I make it a point to maintain that structure to keep stress levels low. You can count on me to be professional and meticulous with your property. I treat every home with the same level of care and respect I’d want for my own. Whether we are out for a walk or hanging out inside, I focus on clear communication and safety so you have total peace of mind.
About: I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities. Been taking care of family dogs and had my own since I was a kid. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, giving lots of attention, and keeping pets safe and comfortable.
