About: We adopted our first pups in 2004 and cared for them for 18 pup-snuggled years. During that time, and since then, we have rescued, fostered and adopted animals of all kinds to include chickens, ducks and a pig named Kevin Bacon! Currently, we're home to Guinevere, the mild-mannered, 6 year-old rescued mutt. We do have an 11-year-old hooman "puppy" who is just as loving and respectful of animals as we are. We will love and care for your fur-babies as if they were our very own. We are home almost all day, every day, so your pet will never be alone. I homeschool our son, and my husband works from home. Your pet will have ample opportunities to play outside in our 1/2 acre back yard. Our neighborhood is very quiet with houses situated on ~acre lots. We have neighbors with dogs, but they usually just run over to the fence to say hello and then go about their business. In our home, your fur-babies can roam freely, and they will have access to our 1/2, partially shaded, completely fenced-in back yard as often as they need. If your dog is one who prefers walks, our peaceful neighborhood has lots of places to explore; there is a nice park 1/2 mile away where they can sniff around where all of the turtles and ducks like to hang out. Pups who stay with us overnight are welcome to stay in their crate (if that's what they prefer), anywhere in the house, and, likely, on one of our beds.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and I love animals. Previously I’ve had many dogs and cats and I’ve even worked at the volunteer animal shelter for 3 years. I’m currently retired and living alone and looking for something to do about once or twice a day for four to five days per week. Also can do boarding of one dog at a time. I walk dogs twice per day and feed dogs on a schedule. When I care for other people animals I look at notes they’ve left me and take care of their pets the way that they want their pet taken care of.

About: I had dogs growing up and they always brought so much joy. I have fostered animals mostly puppies and at one time I had 5 puppies that I was potty training. If your pet requires medication via needle or pill, I am comfortable with either. I work from home and I am flexible in taking care of your pet. Whether it is a walk, daily feeding or sleep over I am home most of the time. If your fur baby is staying the night, we will discuss specific needs, such as feeding time, treats, walks, etc. if I am walking your fur baby, is there a specific area or length of walk you prefer. I am also available to let your dog out during the day and make sure your fur baby has enough water.

I have a set schedule at my salon job. So my days off or anytime before or after my normal hours, I would be happy to attend to the care of any animals that need it. I work Wednesday 9-5. I especially like trail walking at a park or going to the dog beach. I mostly work from home and I also work a few hours a week for a dog wellness company. I only board dogs from one owner at a time, so all my attention goes to your furbabies. Safety is a big concern. No need to worry about fights with other dogs, transmissable viruses, or having small children around. If your dog can not be around ANY other pets in public, that's ok too. I'm also very attentive when it comes to dispensing daily medication. A little about me: As a small child, I grew up with a German shepherd named Yenta. As a pre teen, after asking many times, we welcomed a mixed shepherd/husky into our family. I mulled over names for such a long time - Bandit because I had a cat named Smokey- somehow we all agreed on the name "Ralphy"...funny! I have not owned a dog, aside from when I lived with my family growing up. I don't feel that I can make that commitment just yet. I believe most dogs should be outdoors often and run off their endless energy. Lap dogs or elder dogs have different priorities, of course. I have a natural affection towards animals. I also enjoyed having cats around my childhood home. They certainly are uniquely different from dogs. I cared for eight cats for a few months in a big, old home in Philadelphia in 2014. It was interesting to observe them interacting together, as they are not "pack animals." About this sitter: I'm an animal lover and enjoy being out in nature…so that means your dog WILL get walked a lot. I'm a responsible person that has your dog's best interest always in mind. Why I love dog sitting: I enjoy having different breeds of dogs visit me and giving them a home away from home. They very often become my protector within the first day. You the owner may be going on vacation, but they will certainly have one too! They really are like people with their different personalities and habits. Since I am not a dog owner, it's a blessing to be trusted to enjoy their love and company. About: Hello, I go by Cole. I’ve had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember. I've had three cats: Coco, Halley, and Taz. I've also had five dogs: Blossom, Keesha, Cody, Kyli, and Kronos. I've even had a snake, Slither. Growing up with pets taught me early on how important it is to give them love, structure, and consistent care. I’ve personally trained all of my dogs using positive reinforcement methods and make sure they get daily walks and plenty of exercise to keep them happy and healthy. I've even participated in a dog training class for my Labrador retriever, Cody. As a sitter, I bring that same dedication to every pet I care for. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or any other animal, I treat them with the attention and affection they deserve. I understand that pets rely on us for everything — we are their world — so I’m committed to giving them a safe, loving, and enriching experience while their families are away. My goal is always to make sure they feel at home and enjoy their very best life every single day. I work from home and am with my dog all the time. Every single day I give him a 2.5 mile walk. It is his favorite part of the day. I provide his nourishment and emotional well being support. I have researched and given him the best food for his size and age. I never miss a vet appointment. I live in a safe neighborhood with a fenced backyard. I have many streets I can walk through in my neighborhood. I know how go use all types of collars and harnesses. When I take Kronos out he is always on his collar and leash.
