About: We adopted our first pups in 2004 and cared for them for 18 pup-snuggled years. During that time, and since then, we have rescued, fostered and adopted animals of all kinds to include chickens, ducks and a pig named Kevin Bacon! Currently, we're home to Guinevere, the mild-mannered, 6 year-old rescued mutt. We do have an 11-year-old hooman "puppy" who is just as loving and respectful of animals as we are. We will love and care for your fur-babies as if they were our very own. We are home almost all day, every day, so your pet will never be alone. I homeschool our son, and my husband works from home. Your pet will have ample opportunities to play outside in our 1/2 acre back yard. Our neighborhood is very quiet with houses situated on ~acre lots. We have neighbors with dogs, but they usually just run over to the fence to say hello and then go about their business. In our home, your fur-babies can roam freely, and they will have access to our 1/2, partially shaded, completely fenced-in back yard as often as they need. If your dog is one who prefers walks, our peaceful neighborhood has lots of places to explore; there is a nice park 1/2 mile away where they can sniff around where all of the turtles and ducks like to hang out. Pups who stay with us overnight are welcome to stay in their crate (if that's what they prefer), anywhere in the house, and, likely, on one of our beds.

About: We have three kids who love to pet sit for friends while they’re away. They will genuinely love and adore your pets while you cannot be with them. We are mostly home on the weekends and can give full time care. We do not fertilize the backyard and believe in an organic lifestyle. We have a fenced in yard and safe roads for dog walking. I do prefer your child/dog/cat to come with his/her own food because it's one less thing for them to adjust. I do however have treats and dog food if needed. I will adhere to your instructions to administer food and/or medicine. I work from home currently. So I should be around your fur babies 24/7 except for grocery or eating out when pets are boarding with me or house-sitting for you. I go to Church on Sunday mornings if the stay goes on Sunday. If you need me to drop in at your place or walk your dog, they can be arranged multiple times a day. I don't have pets or children so no worries about your fur friend fitting in. I will attend to your furball without distractions since I only take a single furbaby each time. I live next to a man-made lake, so I don't have a fenced-in yard, I always walk dogs around our neighboring park. So, no accidents should ever happen in this household indoors or outdoors. If I care for your babies at your place, I always respect your property and leave the house in great shape.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, and hamsters, and for the past 22 years I’ve always had a dog of my own—they’re truly part of the family. Right now, we have a sweet 2-year-old Italian Greyhound, so I understand the energy, patience, and consistency that come with caring for a young dog. I also have experience caring for other types of pets, including our bearded dragon, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and needs. I do not have a fenced yard but I do take frequent walks with my dog through the neighborhood so walks will not be a problem.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages since I was a little girl, including my own Shih Tzu, Mei Mei! Gentle, patient, and attentive, I treat every pet like family, making sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for while you’re away :) Pet care is currently my full-time job, so I get to spend most of my day with the pups in my care! ♡ I’m home throughout the day for plenty of potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, meals, and attention. We have a fenced-in yard for supervised potty breaks and playtime, along with doggy gates inside when needed. I follow each pup’s usual routine and any instructions you leave for me, and my family is also around to help when I need to step out. Most importantly, I give every pup time to settle in and never force them into situations they aren’t comfortable with.

About: Let me first start off with saying how much I love animals I grew up in 4h an FFA. Growing up I watched all of our family friends pets and house/farm sat for them when they were out of town and I have a lot of references. I offer dog walking, boarding , and in home visits. About: I have cared for dogs since I was 12. Weather it's my own, a friends, or neighbors, they all get love as if my own! I've trained my own dog and cared for her as she's become an old lady, so I know what it takes at all ages. I am currently available all throughout the day 7 days a week. I can play with them outside, go on walks, play inside, or whatever they need. Since I will be going to the clients home, I will follow whatever rules they have in place. The main goal is to keep the animals safe. I understand the fur babies will be hesitant at first meeting someone new, so I will take it slow to be sure they feel comfortable.
“We had a great introduction and walk. Our dog is afraid of new people, but with proper introduction (and the right treats) he warms up well. For this first walk we where present the whole time to make sure our dog’s comfort and confidence would open up. We wanted to find a Rover person who in future we could possibly board with. So we needed him to be happy and relaxed with the new Rover person. At first our dog was nervous and wary, which historically he usually is with new people. But after a bit time and space, yummy treats, and remaning a comfortable walking distance apart from Joshua, his curiousity grew enough where he was willing to approach. Josh got down to his level and which allowed our dog to approach Josh on his own will. When that moment happened we rewarded his curiousity with lots of praise and yummy treats. From then on we walked side by side with Joshua, and our dog warmed up enough where he was frequently looking back anticipating more pets and treats from Joshua during the walk. Joshua also asked us great questions about our dog and his history, to figure out how to best work with him. In the end our dog was so happy when Joshua said “good bye Stitch,” he actually did one last hop-skip towards Josh even though we were getting ready to go to our car the opposite direction away. We have much gratitude for the opportunity to work with Joshua to socialize him more. We are planning on booking in the future for some types of walks too and would be willing to board if needed.”
About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a little girl. I have experience with both dogs and cats from working at the animal shelter for several years. I will take my experience and apply it with my clients in all aspects. I’m also a recent graduate of Florida Tech, currently shadow at Premier Veterinary Care, and am applying for veterinary school. About: I have been petsitting since I was 11 years old, starting with dogs and cats in my neighborhood and branching out to friends and family all through town during college. I have 3 fur babies: 1 senior dog, 1 young adult dog, and 1 cat. I have experience with dogs with anxiety, reactive dogs, small dogs, large dogs, cats, and fish. I am happy to drop-in for a visit or take your dog on a walk! I am a homemaker who is interested in providing dog walks or drop-in visits for any pet around midday Monday through Friday. About: *Rover Affiliate since Sept 2014* Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. I feel I have a calm presence about me and my home reflects that, however, fun is to be had here! Bring toys and treats. We will go on walks, play, and maybe stop at a dog friendly cafe. I especially like trail walking at a park or going to the dog beach. I mostly work from home and can provide paid extras like dog bathing and nail dremmel care. I only board dogs from one owner at a time, so all my attention goes to your furbabies. Safety is a big concern. No need to worry about fights with other dogs, transmissable viruses, or having small children around. If your dog can not be around ANY other pets in public, that's ok too. I'm also very attentive when it comes to dispensing daily medication. A little about me: As a small child, I grew up with a German shepherd named Yenta. As a pre teen, after asking many times, we welcomed a mixed shepherd/husky into our family. I mulled over names for such a long time - Bandit because I had a cat named Smokey- somehow we all agreed on the name "Ralphy"...funny! I have not owned a dog, aside from when I lived with my family growing up. I don't feel that I can make that commitment just yet. I believe most dogs should be outdoors often and run off their endless energy. Lap dogs or elder dogs have different priorities, of course. I have a natural affection towards animals. Partnering with Rover allows me to enjoy your dogs but not have the commitment of having one. Big, small, come one, come all! My world does not just revolve around dogs! I also enjoyed having cats around my childhood home. They certainly are uniquely different from dogs. I cared for eight cats for a few months in a big, old home in Philadelphia in 2014. It was interesting to observe them interacting together, as they are not "pack animals." About this sitter: I'm an animal lover and enjoy being out in nature…so that means your dog WILL get walked a lot. I'm a responsible person that has your dog's best interest always in mind. Why I love dog sitting: I enjoy having different breeds of dogs visit me and giving them a home away from home. They very often become my protector within the first day. You the pet parent may be going on vacation, but they will certainly have one too! They really are like people with their different personalities and habits. Since I am not a dog owner, it's a blessing to be trusted to enjoy their love and company. Thank you I'm self employed and spend lots of time at home or in the community. I worked over a year at a dog wellness/grooming business where I interacted with all breeds and behaviors. I have a very flexible schedule, so I can put your fur baby first. About: Let me first start off with saying how much I love animals I grew up in 4h an FFA. Growing up I watched all of our family friends pets and house/farm sat for them when they were out of town and I have a lot of references. I offer dog walking, boarding , and in home visits. At home away from home doggie services when your family member is in our home they are treated like our family, welcome to lounge on couch go for walks play in our yard an if they like to swim they are in luck we have a pool and if not they can lay and take a sun bath. Then come in a lounge on couch and watch bluey. This isn’t just a job for me, not just a service it’s my dream. I work from home. Come check out the home away from home doggie services. About: I am an animal lover! What sets me apart from other sitters is that I am not here for the money but for your babies to have a great experience while you are away. Have had dogs and cats for most of my adulthood. After my last furbaby passed, I decided instead of getting another one, I would share my love with other people's fur babies. I would love to take care of your 4-legged family members and treat your babies as my own. My love and care are endless. I can stay and play with your beloved furbabies all day 7 days a week. Since I work from home, your cat/dog is guaranteed to have companionship around the clock, and I believe dogs and cats are happiest when humans accompany them and show them affection, and play with them. I do prefer your child/dog/cat to come with his/her own food because it's one less thing for them to adjust. I do however have treats and dog food if needed. I will adhere to your instructions to administer food and/or medicine. I work from home currently. So I should be around your fur babies 24/7 except for grocery or eating out when pets are boarding with me or house-sitting for you. I go to Church on Sunday mornings if the stay goes on Sunday. If you need me to drop in at your place or walk your dog, they can be arranged multiple times a day. I don't have pets or children so no worries about your fur friend fitting in. I will attend to your furball without distractions since I only take a single furbaby each time. I live next to a man-made lake, so I don't have a fenced-in yard, I always walk dogs around our neighboring park. So, no accidents should ever happen in this household indoors or outdoors. If I care for your babies at your place, I always respect your property and leave the house in great shape.

About: I grew up training dogs and horses. Now I'm a desk jockey and I work from home. Your pet will likely hang out in the couch in the office during the day and sleep in bed with me at night. I have one full size, female dog who mostly just roams the yard and naps. I work from home and spend much of my afternoon time in the fenced in yard. I'm not usually gone for more than a couple hours. I usually get up around 7 to let my dog out and we play fetch for a bit for exercise. I work in my sunroom until about 4. There's a couch and a sub bed in there so the animals can keep me company. I have a large fenced in yard with shade. I have a sprinkler if your pup likes to play. I live in a quiet neighborhood in Melbourne with very little traffic. My furniture is all pretty friendly so your pet will get all the snuggles they want. I do have a large, adult, female dog who is great with all animals.
