A sitter with a fenced in yard was something we wanted to have, since in case walking our timid dog potentially was a challenge, the fenced in yard was an alternative for him doing his business. He warmed up well enough though. She was local to us so we didn’t have to drive too far. It was awesome she accepted a bigger dog since some sitters don’t. She had competitive rates at the time of listing in comparison to other Rover sitters that we were looking at. Overall if needed we could see ourselves requesting future bookings again.”

About: We adopted our first pups in 2004 and cared for them for 18 pup-snuggled years. During that time, and since then, we have rescued, fostered and adopted animals of all kinds to include chickens, ducks and a pig named Kevin Bacon! Currently, we're home to Guinevere, the mild-mannered, 6 year-old rescued mutt. We do have an 11-year-old hooman "puppy" who is just as loving and respectful of animals as we are. We will love and care for your fur-babies as if they were our very own. We are home almost all day, every day, so your pet will never be alone. I homeschool our son, and my husband works from home. Your pet will have ample opportunities to play outside in our 1/2 acre back yard. Our neighborhood is very quiet with houses situated on ~acre lots. We have neighbors with dogs, but they usually just run over to the fence to say hello and then go about their business. In our home, your fur-babies can roam freely, and they will have access to our 1/2, partially shaded, completely fenced-in back yard as often as they need. If your dog is one who prefers walks, our peaceful neighborhood has lots of places to explore; there is a nice park 1/2 mile away where they can sniff around where all of the turtles and ducks like to hang out. Pups who stay with us overnight are welcome to stay in their crate (if that's what they prefer), anywhere in the house, and, likely, on one of our beds.

About: I’m an animal lover who has owned various small and big dogs, eg Yorkies, Labs, etc., for most of my life. I’ve also owned a few indoor only cats over the years. I work from home (M-F) 95% of the time unless I’m traveling for work/holiday, which is about twice a year. I’m also available for most of the major holiday seasons. I have a home, with a large fenced in yard. My sweet Thumper, a 14 yrs., Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix, recently passed on April 24, 2026. So while I no longer have any pets, I find caring for other pets helps me keep busy and continue to share my love for dogs with quality care. I take the pup(s) out for daily morning and evening walks around the neighborhood. All dogs are welcome to cuddle on the sofas and beds. When housesitting in your home, I treat and care for your home as if it was my own. This includes light housekeeping, watering the indoor/outdoor plants and other small tasks as agreed upon. My primary goal is to spend as much quality time with your pet in the comfort of their home. For boarding, my home is clean and tidy with lots of comfortable dog beds and backyard space for zoomies! There’s also a large toy box full of fun toys for your pet to take home one souvenir at their first Dogcation adventure. Check out my guest photos! Daily pictures/videos for the owners and each pet receives their own report card on their stay. I can offer 1:1 time with your fur baby. About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and I love animals. Previously I’ve had many dogs and cats and I’ve even worked at the volunteer animal shelter for 3 years. I’m currently retired and living alone and looking for something to do about once or twice a day for four to five days per week. Also can do boarding of one dog at a time. I walk dogs twice per day and feed dogs on a schedule. When I care for other people animals I look at notes they’ve left me and take care of their pets the way that they want their pet taken care of.

“We were going on vacation for 2 weeks and our original plan fell apart, and thats when I found Caesar here on Rover. What caught my eye was that one of his reviews said that their dogs were tired after their stay, and with 2 Boston Terrier, that was all I needed to read and so I booked. Right away, my mind was at ease, our meet and greet was wonderful, lots of room and ready for you fur-baby. The best part was daily photos, video and wonderful stories of their activities and adventures, that my husband and I would enjoy reading every night at dinner. We even joked that our dogs might not want to come back home to us..lol 😆 We are most definitely going to book again and recommend Caesar to our friends, and YES, Jett and Merlin were exhausted when we brought them home. 🐕👍🤩”

About: We have both had dogs and cats and cats since we were kids. We love animals and making sure they are taken care of. Large or small we love them all. We are available evening and weekends to take care of any needs for your cats or dogs. I currently have Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s off, Casey currently works most of her time from home allowing us the ability to care for animals pretty much on any schedule Between my weekends off and my wife work from home schedule we are able to provide and accommodate almost any request with one of us available to provide love, care, food, walks, and potty breaks in our fenced in backyard
