About: We adopted our first pups in 2004 and cared for them for 18 pup-snuggled years. During that time, and since then, we have rescued, fostered and adopted animals of all kinds to include chickens, ducks and a pig named Kevin Bacon! Currently, we're home to Guinevere, the mild-mannered, 6 year-old rescued mutt. We do have an 11-year-old hooman "puppy" who is just as loving and respectful of animals as we are. We will love and care for your fur-babies as if they were our very own. We are home almost all day, every day, so your pet will never be alone. I homeschool our son, and my husband works from home. Your pet will have ample opportunities to play outside in our 1/2 acre back yard. Our neighborhood is very quiet with houses situated on ~acre lots. We have neighbors with dogs, but they usually just run over to the fence to say hello and then go about their business. In our home, your fur-babies can roam freely, and they will have access to our 1/2, partially shaded, completely fenced-in back yard as often as they need. If your dog is one who prefers walks, our peaceful neighborhood has lots of places to explore; there is a nice park 1/2 mile away where they can sniff around where all of the turtles and ducks like to hang out. Pups who stay with us overnight are welcome to stay in their crate (if that's what they prefer), anywhere in the house, and, likely, on one of our beds.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for both small and large dogs, including breeds such as Yorkshire Terriers, Labrador Retrievers, Goldendoodles, and more. I’ve also owned several indoor-only cats over the years, giving me a solid understanding of feline care and behavior. I know that every pet has a unique personality, and I strive to provide the same love, patience, and attention they receive at home so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I work from home Monday through Friday about 95% of the time, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. Unless I’m traveling for work or on holiday, I’m available for pet care, including during most major holidays. I have a home with a large, securely fenced yard where dogs can safely play and explore. My beloved Thumper, a 14-year-old Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix, crossed the rainbow bridge on April 24, 2026. While I no longer have pets of my own, caring for other people’s dogs and cats has become a meaningful way for me to continue sharing the love and companionship that animals bring. Whether your pet enjoys playtime or simply relaxing nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Dogs in my care enjoy daily morning and evening neighborhood walks, and they’re welcome to cuddle on the furniture and even the bed if that’s what they’re accustomed to at home. When house sitting, I treat your home with the same respect and care as I would my own. In addition to providing attentive, loving care for your pets, I’m happy to perform light housekeeping, water indoor and outdoor plants, bring in mail or packages, and take care of other small household tasks we’ve agreed upon. My goal is to keep your pets happy, maintain their normal routine, and give you peace of mind while you’re away. When your pet stays with me, they’ll enjoy a clean, comfortable home with plenty of cozy dog beds, a large, securely fenced backyard for zoomies and playtime, and a toy box filled with fun toys. As a special welcome, every first-time boarding guest gets to take home a toy as a souvenir from their Dogcation! I believe pet parents deserve peace of mind while they’re away, so I provide daily photo and video updates, along with a personalized report card summarizing your pet’s stay, activities, eating habits, and overall experience. Because I work from home most of the week, I can offer plenty of one-on-one attention and companionship tailored to your pet’s individual needs. Whether they love to play, cuddle, or simply relax nearby, they’ll receive lots of love and personalized care. I’m highly organized, reliable, and flexible whenever possible with drop-off and pick-up times, including accommodating last-minute schedule changes. My goal is to make your pet’s stay as fun, safe, and stress free as possible for both you and your furry family member(s).

About: I always say ..."if a person doesn't love a dog then we cannot be friends." Gated community with great walking streets and no traffic. When your pet is we with me in my home then they are home as well. They are welcome to be on the furniture and sleep in the bed if they like to do that. I can also have your crate if they need that as well. There is plenty of room. We also have an enclosed very secure outdoor Lanai. I have had many pets all of my life and love them all. My last dog was with me for over sixteen years. He was perfect in every way to me. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends real soon! Cats...what can I say? I adore cats they are so cool and so much fun. One look and they got you. They can be so sweet and loving and then have you rolling on the floor laughing from just one look. I really believe cats truly understand language. I have plenty of time for the attention and love your pet needs. I am home full time which gives me time to cater to your pets every need. I live in a gated private community which is very safe for your pets and very little traffic on lovely walking streets with beautiful lakes to sit by.
