About: I’m an animal lover who has owned various small and big dogs, eg Yorkies, Labs, etc., for most of my life. I’ve also owned a few indoor only cats over the years. I work from home (M-F) 95% of the time unless I’m traveling for work/holiday, which is about twice a year. I’m also available for most of the major holiday seasons. I have a home, with a large fenced in yard. I have one 13 yrs., 24lb, Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix named Thumper. He’s very docile and gets along with most dogs, especially dogs his size. Since I work from home, he can use a friend or two to spice things up for him before I take everyone out for daily morning and evening walks around the neighborhood. All dogs are welcome to cuddle on the sofas and beds. My home is clean and tidy with lots of comfortable dog beds and backyard space for zoomies! There’s also a large toy box full of fun toys for your pet to take home one souvenir at their first Dogcation or Dayplay adventure. Check out my guest photos! Daily pictures/videos for the owners and each pet receives their own report card on their stay. I can offer 1:1 time with your fur baby. I’m very organized and flexible for any last minute changes to drop-off/pickup times.

13. Nytza C.
About: I have over five years of experience caring for dogs. During this time, I’ve learned to understand their needs, provide companionship, attention, and lots of love. I adapt to different temperaments and enjoy creating a safe and fun environment for them. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I set aside time every day for feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure the dogs feel loved and secure. Whether it’s a morning walk, afternoon play session, or evening cuddle time, I enjoy building a consistent rhythm that helps pets feel happy and relaxed. On a weekly basis, I also include things like grooming, training reinforcement, and exploring new parks or activities to keep them engaged. I always prioritize a pet’s comfort and routine, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m visiting theirs. At my place, I create a calm, safe space where pets can relax, play, and feel at home. I stick closely to their feeding, walking, and sleeping schedules. If I’m in a client’s home, I make sure to respect their space and maintain the pet’s usual environment and routine to reduce stress. In both cases, I give them plenty of attention, exercise, and affection.

14. Debbie M.

“She is amazing with dogs! Thank you so much for caring about my fur babies 💜🙏😊”

15. Bailey S.
About: I have taken care of houses, plants, animals, and kids since I was in high school. My jobs throughout college and beyond are all through those I've networked with via caretaking. I work from home and am on a flexible 9-5 schedule. Aside from a few weekly calls I can walk/sit at any hour. I go on daily walks so why not add a pup! I have a big backyard and live a short walk to the beach and river. If you pup loves to play, I have a great spot. I am an animal lover and we do care for our neighbors outdoor cat sometimes. If your pup is not cat friendly, just let me know beforehand so I can make sure the cat stays away.

16. Vickie H.

“Vickie was great and treated our dog well. She has a wonderful yard that he enjoyed exploring as soon as we dropped him off for the day. Vickie sent updates throughout his stay and we felt confident leaving him in her care.”

17. Samantha A.
“Sam is the absolute best and I completely trust her with my babies! Her passion for animals shines through her personality and I know my critters are always in good hands with her. She goes above and beyond to give them the care they need.”

18. Amanda L.
“Amanda house sat my dog (75lbs) for almost 2 weeks while I traveled out west. Her service was amazing and she kept me posted with daily photos and texts. Amanda followed all of the instructions and diet/ medicine guide for my dog as he has health issues and requires very specific needs. I felt completely at ease with her taking care of my dog, and fish. She told me that she grew up her entire life fostering dogs and cats that were sick, injured, or just needed a home to stay in before they were adopted. She is a very caring, outgoing, fun, welcoming, and delightful person. I would recommend her to anyone for anything pet related. Amanda is the best option in town to take care of your fur baby.”

19. Lisa B.

“Great communication. Lisa was very flexible, as our plans were a bit uncertain. She sent me a picture of our pup looking very relaxed and comfortable. Thank you!”
