“Jorge’s service was great. My pets spent the day with him and were returned to me well. I received pictures and he was responsive to my check texts. His property is welcoming and so was he. I would recommend his services to anyone looking in this area.”

“Highly recommend Kristen! She is attentive and caring with our doggies. Provides updates often, has a backyard so they can run around, and spends lots of time with them. Definitely will contact Kristen again.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets professionally for many years. In my 20s and 30s, I owned and operated All Paws Pet Sitting Services in South Florida while also working for VCA Animal Hospital. After pursuing a successful corporate career, I’m excited to return to my pet care roots and bring that same level of dependable, compassionate care to families here on the Space Coast. I love caring for both furry and scaly family members. Dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, and other exotic pets are all welcome. I also have the support of my partner, who has years of hands-on experience caring for exotic reptiles and animals and is just as passionate about dogs as I am. Together, we understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and we’re committed to providing safe, reliable, and loving care while you’re away. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, a senior companion, or a special-needs reptile, you can count on attentive care, regular updates, and the peace of mind that your pets are being treated like family. Bonus: I have professional experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and other exotic pets—something that’s hard to find on Rover. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work remotely with a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide dependable visits, walks, feedings, medications, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays with advance notice. Caring for animals has always been a passion, and I’m excited to make it a regular part of my life here on the Space Coast. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I know every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their schedule, personality, favorite activities, and any special needs before you leave. I provide plenty of love, playtime, exercise, fresh food and water, medications if needed, and lots of updates with photos so you can relax while you’re away. I respect your home as if it were my own and always make sure doors, gates, and enclosures are secure. With my background owning a professional pet sitting business and working at VCA Animal Hospital, you can feel confident your pets are in experienced, caring hands.
“My goodness. We needed day care for our two pups and, boy, were we pleased with Alexander and Dorys. They were not only communicative, friendly, obvious dog lovers, but took such great care of our boys. It was quite clear they were interacting with our pups, the entire day! We look forward to using them, again. (Especially since the boys can't stop talking about all the fun they had.) We are very grateful.”

About: You could probably say I enjoy being around dogs more than most people. I consider dogs angels. I love to spoil them. My two girls are very spoiled. I have always had a dog. At one time I had 4 large dogs. I know what distress looks like and I know animal safeguarding. My husband and I have a deep bond with animals. We will care for your dog just as if they were ours. I’m a retired teacher and I love and truly understand dogs. I will love your pet as if he/she were my own. I’ve done all kinds of medications including kidney care involving injections and oral medicine. I have a fenced in yard and a safe place to walk dogs. I have two female Shitzus and they are very very friendly. I have had puppies, teenage dogs, and seniors. We only care for one families’ dog(s) at a time so they receive the care they deserve. We will send lots of pictures of your dog during our time with us and we will always follow your care instructions.
“Wonderful family. Our Turtle was spoiled with their love and attention (they even brushed her out and made her a wonderful fluff ball. We will hope Turtle can visit her new friends again.”

About: I've grown up around animals my entire life and while I love them all, dogs hold a special place in my heart. Now in my adult life, owning a fur-baby (dog) myself, I truly understand the concern around finding someone to look after them while you're away and cannot bring them with. Because if we could bring them every where, we would, right!? :) I work from home full-time Monday thru Friday, which provides the flexibility to care for your fur-baby. I have several years of experience dog sitting, dog walking, and house sitting for family, friends, and colleagues. I would love to get to know your fur-baby and provide the best possible care for them! ** Unfortunately because of my own dog being reactive, I cannot board at this time. Since I work from home, I am able to provide your fur-baby the attention and care they need depending on their specific needs. I know dogs thrive on a consistent schedule and am happy to help maintain their normal routine while you're away from home. My top priority is make sure your fur-baby feels "at home" where ever they are. If they have a specific routine that we need to follow every day, I will adhere to them.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! From the moment I dropped my dog off, he felt completely welcomed and at ease. I got regular updates and adorable photos throughout the day, which gave me total peace of mind. You can tell she truly cares about animals—she treated my dog like her own. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Kelsey is phenomenal! Beyond flexible and understanding with schedule changes and so good with my pup. It’s clear she is a pro at handling all different types of dogs and enjoys spending time with them. My pup always comes home tired and happy from his fun day. Perfect.”

“Debra is very professional and loves dogs! Raven loves her! We highly recommend Debra to any loving dog parent looking for day care or overnights for their furry kid. 💞🐾💯”

About: My wife and I have been pet sitting for several years. My clients have all become part of the family. I genuinely love being around animals, going for walks and spending time with animals. We were dog sitting previously in Canada while living there, we would be happy to provide you with additional references. We have the friendliest 7 year old Irish setter who absolutely loves being around people and dogs (He spends a lot of his time at Fred Popp dog park running in circles for an hour). He loves both large and small dogs and he does not seem to care if they are female or male. When pet sitting at your home, my dog will stay home with his other family members . We work from home so were always around. We love walking and being outdoors so your pet will get lots of exercise (I can track the pets walks on my phone and send updates and photos so you know your buddy is having a great time). We will always discuss the pets needs before caring for them as every pet is different and deserves the staycation that's best for them. We will discuss the pets' needs with the owner and come up with a plan that they are comfortable. (I'll do my best to stick to the same routine they have at home )
“Brittany was absolutely fantastic both before and throughout our first day of boarding with Hoola. There was great communication with a meet and greet and eventual day of fun with Brittany and Hugo (who is truly a gem of a dog.) Hoola was clearly very well cared for and loved in our absence. Thanks for making this experience so positive and we look forward to booking with you again soon. Definitely would highly recommend.”

“Michelle was great! She was willing to take our pups on short notice and we felt so comfortable with the whole process. She kept us very informed and took such great care of them. Very caring but also very professional- 10/10 would recommend 👌”

“Darcy and Dave are so sweet to my puppy. they are always so responsive and send pictures of my puppy and update on how the day is going. i had been worried that bringing my puppy to a daycare so young that she wouldn’t do well but it seems to be the opposite! Darcy is super helpful and her time with darcy has been a huge help for helping to teach her”

“Patricia was so sweet with my older dog. Helped her when she was nervous, was communicative with me, and flexible in her hours. We looking forward to having our dog stay with her again”

About: I’m an animal lover who has owned various small and big dogs, eg Yorkies, Labs, etc., for most of my life. I’ve also owned a few indoor only cats over the years. I work from home (M-F) 95% of the time unless I’m traveling for work/holiday, which is about twice a year. I’m also available for most of the major holiday seasons. I have a home, with a large fenced in yard. My sweet Thumper, a 14 yrs., Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix, recently passed on April 24, 2026. So while I no longer have any pets, I find caring for other pets helps me keep busy and continue to share my love for dogs with quality care. I take the pup(s) out for daily morning and evening walks around the neighborhood. All dogs are welcome to cuddle on the sofas and beds. When housesitting in your home, I treat and care for your home as if it was my own. This includes light housekeeping, watering the indoor/outdoor plants and other small tasks as agreed upon. My primary goal is to spend as much quality time with your pet in the comfort of their home. For boarding, my home is clean and tidy with lots of comfortable dog beds and backyard space for zoomies! There’s also a large toy box full of fun toys for your pet to take home one souvenir at their first Dogcation adventure. Check out my guest photos! Daily pictures/videos for the owners and each pet receives their own report card on their stay. I can offer 1:1 time with your fur baby. I’m very organized and flexible for any last minute changes to drop-off/pickup times.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Melbourne Beach commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
