“Amanda is an excellent pet care professional. She’s always on time and was very easy to set up care for my 4 month old puppy. She goes above and beyond, and clearly cares for animals. She was a vet tech and is currently studying to be a vet. Would highly recommend Amanda if you are looking for someone who is friendly, trustworthy, dependable and knowledgeable with pets.”

“Alexander took great care of my Sadie while I was out of town for almost a week. I could tell from the many photos taken at each check-in that she enjoyed her visits.”

“Kyle did an amazing dog with both my dogs and cat! I can tell he is a huge animal lover and he spent quality time with all my pets and I could see how much they enjoyed his company. Although I have a pet cam I appreciate that he went above and beyond with sending me multiple videos of my pets. He has earned my trust that he will not just check in but also give my animals love while I am gone :)”

About: I grew up in a house with lots of animals, dogs, cats, chickens, even some more exotic ones like iguanas, tarantulas, rats. I have experience with horses, goats and livestock. As well as an associates in Veterinary Technology, along with that comes experience handling and giving medications. I'm currently going back to school for an Environmental Science Bachelors. My dog is also on 2x day walk/ 2x day eating schedule so I am happy to accommodate any special needs! I have a sweet almost 3yr old dog that would happily keep any animal company, a yard to play in and lots of toys. I have multiple crates to accommodate if your pet would prefer to have a safe space. I would love them like my own!
About: I’m active, patient, and reliable. I run regularly, enjoy long walks, and make sure high-energy dogs get proper exercise and attention. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages :) Pet care fits easily into my routine as a nursing student. I’m available early mornings and most afternoons after noon, making walks, runs, and check-ins easy to schedule. I stick closely to each pet’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I focus on safe walks, exercise, playtime, and lots of attention.
“First time on this app she was helpful, punctual and took good care of my puppy. She also came through for me last minute which I definitely appreciated. Ill be rebooking with her in the coming weeks no doubt”

“Madison was great!!! I had a last second flight and she was very flexible for my needs. I’m guessing she was great to my dog because he’s 21 years old and still bouncing around as usual.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a little girl. I have experience with both dogs and cats from working at the animal shelter for several years. I will take my experience and apply it with my clients in all aspects. I’m currently working part time at Buffalo Wild Wings, usually around 20-25 hours a week, but I will have no problem working around my work schedule to fit your pet into my schedule! In my clients home, I will strictly follow instructions given by the pet owner, in regards to feeding, medications, exercise, time spent, etc. Also, I will make sure to send photo updates to the client if requested.
About: I have had pets all my life, both dogs and cats. I have taken care of babies to seniors. Whatever your pet needs I can help. My own pets have their own weird quirks (like my cat Molly she loves to have her food thrown one piece at a time so she can chase it and eat it) so let me know what your pet needs and I will do that for them while you need to be away. I work remote most of the time so I can easily drop in to check in on your furry loved ones or if you need me to stay overnight I can help there too. I will stay at your place overnight to care for your pet while you are gone beginning with the time you want me there. If you need me to stay during the day as well I usually can, but I may need to run back to my house to check on my furbabies too a few times during the day.

About: I had my own special cat that I took care of his whole life. I have cared for many others since then. I would be glad to care for your kitty cat whenever the need arise. I am an educator, so Saturdays and Sundays are the best time for me to care for pets but in the summertime, I will have much more availability I’m very comfortable with taking care of animals. I will treat them as my own, and I will respect your home as mine whenever I’m there to care for your pet
“Celia is a natural with animals and was wonderful with my boys from start to finish! We were gone for 6 weeks but knew the whole time that our cats were in the best hands. 🤍 Thank you for taking great care of our fur babies and even going out of your way to make sure our home was in order! I highly recommend Celia to anyone looking for a responsible, communicative, loving pet sitter.”

About: I grew up in a house full of many different pets! And I have always taken care of my friends/families pets when need be. I’ve worked at a veterinary hospital and dog groomers. I am currently not working so I have a lot of flexibility and I am available anytime during the week and weekend! This goes for drop-in visits and walking. I have a fenced in yard and 2 large dogs that are friendly with other dogs. I can also keep them separate from your fur baby if need be! I also have 3 beautiful cats.
About: You could probably say I enjoy being around dogs more than most people. I consider dogs angels. I love to spoil them. My two girls are very spoiled. I have always had a dog. At one time I had 4 large dogs. I know what distress looks like and I know animal safeguarding. My husband and I have a deep bond with animals. We will care for your dog just as if they were ours. I’ve done all kinds of medications including kidney care involving injections and oral medicine. I have a fenced in yard and a safe place to walk dogs. I have two female Shitzus and they are very very friendly. I have had puppies, teenage dogs, and seniors. We only care for one families’ dog(s) at a time so they receive the care they deserve. We will send lots of pictures of your dog during our time with us and we will always follow your care instructions.
“I had to go out of town on short notice and needed someone to take Lotus out in the morning for a walk and give her breakfast. I found Tina and she was awesome! She kept me informed and took great pictures and did a great job. I booked her for a 30 minute drop-in for two days and would definitely do it again. Thank you Tina.”

About: We are willing to do whatever needs to be done to make your best friend comfortable. Someone is home at all times. We have had dogs for the last 15 years from puppies to seniors, including special needs. Four of our dogs have been dachshunds, one was a bloodhound, and one was a pitbull mix. Three dachshunds and the bloodhound now reside in the home. The bloodhound is a 6 year old female, the dachshunds are 7,2 and a 1 year old males. We have a very harmonious pack atmosphere. We believe that exercise keeps a pet happy! We are well acquainted with crate training, clicker training, and positive reinforcement. Our family members have dogs of various ages and breeds which spend the time with our pack so they are used to visitors! We look forward to meeting you and your doggy! I work full time, my wife does not work so she is home all day with the dogs. The only time we would leave the dogs is to go to the grocery store. We have a fenced yard and lots of toys for them to chew, we encourage tearing up toys and playing. We also allow the dogs to be on the furniture and beds.

About: Hi! My name is SJ! I always wanted to find someone reliable, kind, gentle and understanding to watch my own girls when I needed to go out of town. So I decided to be that for others who may also need a lil help in the puppy department. Trusting someone with your fur babies is one of the hardest things... Let me help take that stress off of your shoulders. Leave a detailed message on how to care for your fur baby and I got you! I treat every animal as if it were a human. Dogs especially always find their way to me 😂 I'm basically Ms. Rachel , but for dogs 🤣 I can be available for drop in visits, or some in-home sitting, let me know what you need. No worries! For some reason my rates are all over the place on this app and there's no way for me to update them I keep it easy and the same for everyone. 20 per visit +10 for additional pets. Example: 1 dog + 3 visits = 60. 2 dogs + 3 visits = 90. Message me or text to book I'm an Uber Driver and a local musician so I occasionally play music around Brevard county but I have plenty of time for your pets! My girls are set in their daily routines. I come and go throughout the day. I have a semi fenced yard (the rest is a natural barrier) our girls stay in the garden and don't ever leave the premises. It's a garden/dog park in our backyard. In your home, I would just need very clear directions on what your expectation is and I can follow that guideline with no problem :) My time is spent with your pet playing, feeding, walking, or just being there for some human interaction. I can clean up anything while I'm there for you. Just think of me as your assistant. Let me know what I can do to make your pet/day a little easier.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Palm Bay
Sophia is AMAZING. We, the parents, didn’t meet her in person because we were out on a work trip and needed help last minute. Our dog had a mole that was in bad shape due to her licking on it, and Sophia took EXCELLENT care of her wound, was extremely careful, took pictures, and communicated with us all the time. She was sweet with our dog and patient while checking in on the wound and cleaning it and ensuring it was covered for the night. Our family members were taking care of our dog; they only speak Spanish, and Sophia managed to communicate and be super respectful and friendly with them too. Thank you, Sophia; you are an angel!

My 3 pups (all over 13 years old) were taken care of as if they were Gretchen’s own babies. Gretchen is one in a million! My pups just loved her and she loves them. Thank you for taking the stress, anxiety and guilt away from us. They are just too old and precious to take to a boarding facility. I will forever hire Gretchen to take care of my babies.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
