I work from home Monday through Friday about 95% of the time, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. Unless I’m traveling for work or on holiday, I’m available for pet care, including during most major holidays. I have a home with a large, securely fenced yard where dogs can safely play and explore. My beloved Thumper, a 14-year-old Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix, crossed the rainbow bridge on April 24, 2026. While I no longer have pets of my own, caring for other people’s dogs and cats has become a meaningful way for me to continue sharing the love and companionship that animals bring. Whether your pet enjoys playtime or simply relaxing nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Dogs in my care enjoy daily morning and evening neighborhood walks, and they’re welcome to cuddle on the furniture and even the bed if that’s what they’re accustomed to at home. When house sitting, I treat your non-smoking/non-vaping home with the same respect and care as I would my own. In addition to providing attentive, loving care for your pets, I’m happy to perform light housekeeping, water indoor and outdoor plants, bring in mail or packages, and take care of other small household tasks we’ve agreed upon. My goal is to keep your pets happy, maintain their normal routine, and give you peace of mind while you’re away.

As a special welcome, every first-time boarding guest gets to take home a toy as a souvenir from their Dogcation! I believe pet parents deserve peace of mind while they’re away, so I provide daily photo and video updates, along with a personalized report card summarizing your pet’s stay, activities, eating habits, and overall experience. Because I work from home most of the week, I can offer plenty of one-on-one attention and companionship tailored to your pet’s individual needs. Whether they love to play, cuddle, or simply relax nearby, they’ll receive lots of love and personalized care. I’m highly organized, reliable, and flexible whenever possible with drop-off and pick-up times, including accommodating last-minute schedule changes. My goal is to make your pet’s stay as fun, safe, and stress free as possible for both you and your furry family member(s).

For the health and safety of all pets in my care, I ask that all pets be current on their annual vaccinations. Proof of vaccination may be requested. The more I know in advance, the better I can prepare to provide personalized, safe, and loving care. I’m comfortable caring for pets with a wide range of needs, as long as I’m informed ahead of time. Before your booking, please verify that your veterinarian’s contact information is up to date in Rover and provide the name and phone number of a local emergency contact who can assist if needed. While emergencies are rare, being prepared ensures your pet receives the best possible care should an unexpected visit to a local 24/7 veterinary hospital in Melbourne ever become necessary. Every stay is designed to be a fun-filled Dogcation! Your pup will enjoy games of fetch with toys from the toy box, plenty of playtime in my large, securely fenced backyard, and—weather permitting—a refreshing romp in the doggy splash pad during the warmer months. Each day includes morning and evening neighborhood walks to provide exercise, fresh air, and opportunities to explore. Of course, every pet receives lots of love, belly rubs, cuddles, and personalized one-on-one attention. I’ll also capture plenty of adorable photos and videos throughout their stay, so you can see all the fun they’re having while you’re away!

Christine was amazing! So attentive to my two fur babies who have never had a dog sitter before. She sent so many adorable updates and made sure they were entertained and loved throughout their entire stay. Poppy absolutely loves the toy she got to bring home with her. Would 100% recommend to anyone that works from home and has fur babies that require a little extra TLC.
