“Let me start by saying that in addition to this being my first Rover experience, this was the first time my 11 year old Chloe had ever stayed away from home. While Chloe loves people, she is not dog-friendly, so boarding her has never been an option. Anytime we wanted to go away, we would try to coax family members or friends to come and stay at the house, which is never easy. Desperate for a solution, we came across Rover, and met the two most wonderful people. I am so grateful for Susan and her daughter. First of all, they had no prejudice against my sweet pit-mix, and were more than happy to schedule a meet and greet with us. From the moment I met them, I knew they would be the perfect fit for my anxious girl. Susan is so sweet, calm, and understanding. She listened to all my concerns and fears, and put me (and Chloe) right at ease. Her daughter is just as wonderful. She is so mature, well-behaved, and well-mannered. I had no doubt that Chloe would be in the best hands. We scheduled a one-night trial run, just to see how Chloe would handle being away from home. Everything between the drop-off and pick-up went flawlessly. I really appreciated the communication and pictures throughout the day, which helped alleviate my worries, and made me feel more relaxed knowing that she was being well-taken care of. Chloe was able to settle in with them nicely, and the stay was a success. Susan has been so comforting and reassuring throughout this entire process. I will definitely be booking with her again soon. I am so blessed to have found such wonderful, caring people.”

About: I worked at the dog spot hotel for years handling several kinds of dogs behaviors, food, medicines, baths, exercise, etc. I also have owned 3 of my own dogs and taken several training courses with a certified dog trainer for behavior and commands. I’m currently working a part time serving position, so I will have a lot of time to play and take care of all of your dogs. I come home on breaks as I live right down the road and my hours aren’t long at all. I am also already hanging out with a foster dog when he needs me. I have a fenced in backyard as well as a screened in porch to take your dog outside to potty in the rain if they get nervous. I have a spacious home for roaming and tile floors perfect for cleaning up any accidents! I have a 8 year old yorkie mix at my home too that will keep your pets company and is great with all size dogs. I also have reliable AC in this florida heat to keep your puppies comfortable. I am able to lift 70 pounds on my own at least, in case of an emergency if I have to handle your dog from another dog.

About: We adopted our first pups in 2004 and cared for them for 18 pup-snuggled years. During that time, and since then, we have rescued, fostered and adopted animals of all kinds to include chickens, ducks and a pig named Kevin Bacon! Currently, we're home to Guinevere, the mild-mannered, 6 year-old rescued mutt. We do have an 11-year-old hooman "puppy" who is just as loving and respectful of animals as we are. We will love and care for your fur-babies as if they were our very own. We are home almost all day, every day, so your pet will never be alone. I homeschool our son, and my husband works from home. Your pet will have ample opportunities to play outside in our 1/2 acre back yard. Our neighborhood is very quiet with houses situated on ~acre lots. We have neighbors with dogs, but they usually just run over to the fence to say hello and then go about their business. In our home, your fur-babies can roam freely, and they will have access to our 1/2, partially shaded, completely fenced-in back yard as often as they need. If your dog is one who prefers walks, our peaceful neighborhood has lots of places to explore; there is a nice park 1/2 mile away where they can sniff around where all of the turtles and ducks like to hang out. Pups who stay with us overnight are welcome to stay in their crate (if that's what they prefer), anywhere in the house, and, likely, on one of our beds.

About: I always say ..."if a person doesn't love a dog then we cannot be friends." Gated community with great walking streets and no traffic. When your pet is we with me in my home then they are home as well. They are welcome to be on the furniture and sleep in the bed if they like to do that. I can also have your crate if they need that as well. There is plenty of room. We also have an enclosed very secure outdoor Lanai. I have had many pets all of my life and love them all. My last dog was with me for over sixteen years. He was perfect in every way to me. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends real soon! Cats...what can I say? I adore cats they are so cool and so much fun. One look and they got you. They can be so sweet and loving and then have you rolling on the floor laughing from just one look. I really believe cats truly understand language. I have plenty of time for the attention and love your pet needs. I am home full time which gives me time to cater to your pets every need. I live in a gated private community which is very safe for your pets and very little traffic on lovely walking streets with beautiful lakes to sit by.

I have never had any experience with Rover before, but I had no choice as I needed the help. I booked with Josh which was super-fast and easy. He approved the walk right away. If going for a walk, I live on a road that stretches almost a mile long with a sidewalk on both sides. If in the clients home, the house will be respected and any notes or rules will be followed (ex. House codes and gate codes, potty breaks outside, walks, any needs of the pet). If a pet needs medication, assistance or any other specific care, I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is healthy and happy!

About: I’ve taken care of family and friends dogs since I was little and I’ve always had a dog since I’ve grown up. I have 3 dogs right now, 2 of them that are 3 years old and other dog about 15 years old. I have crate trained my dogs and now they go in without a bark. I’m currently in college part time and I have three classes a week. They are only about an hour and half long so I’m never gone too long. I don’t do anything else really besides school so I’m never really busy and I’m usually free for the most part. With my 2 puppies right now since they are still kinda young I make sure I have my eye on them so they don’t try to eat or tear anything. My oldest dog is usually always sleeping since she’s old so she usually is fine. I also have a fence in my back yard so it keeps them in from getting out and lets them run around. I also will walk them sometimes if they still have energy because after the walk they will be pretty tired.

Currently, I have a healthy 5 year old Merle long haired chihuahua named Hugo. He is the alpha and prefers to be with female dogs that are calm and submissive. He likes to sleep for most of the day. If I am watching your dog at my house and your dog and Hugo don’t get along, Hugo is happy to go over to his grandparents house to get spoiled by them :) In 2022, my 18 year old chihuahua and best friend passed away. He had a long life and during his last few years, I put my RN experience to work and became his dog nurse giving him eye drops, ear drops, and oral medications. I've had roommates with cats and large dogs (Lab, pit bull, corgi) in the past, and I have experience helping to take care of them as well. About: Hello! I have had dogs my entire life. As a youngster, I had a poodle named Gidget. She was such a wonderful part of my growing up years. Playing ball with her is a treasured memory. Over the years I have always had dogs. I've enjoyed obedience training my fur babies and have even competed at times in AKC trials. At my house we have large and small dogs, so I'm used to all sizes! Evenings we cuddle on the couch and weekends we go for car rides, walks, or to Lowes! I also have several grand pups ranging from seven pounds to 100! I would love the opportunity to check in with your pet(s) or take them for walks. I'm looking forward to hearing from you! I will take your pet for walks, feed your pet, and provide play/ run time as requested. Taking care of your pet in your home will be my pleasure. As a retiree, my schedule is pretty open. Please check my calendar for availability and don't hesitate to ask questions. If you need more availability, please let me know. I will care for your pets in your home by following your routines and directions. Consistency is important to prevent confusion when the owner is away.
About: I have been a dog owner my whole life, and have been pet sitting since I was a teenager. I have experience with puppies, older dogs, special needs (lots of medication) dogs, and working with multiple dogs at one time. My favorite part about working with dogs is being able to run and play with them. I am available early mornings and late nights. I also love trail walking/running, so I'll make sure your dog gets the exercise they need! I follow a rigorous routine of walking/running with my own dogs, and will take the same care with yours! Based on your pets exercise level, we can walk/run for up to an hour as needed. Caring for other dogs involves building trust through playtime, walks, and of course, treats! Making sure your dog is comfortable on walks and overnights is the top most priority.
About: I have owned dogs, cats, rabbits and have been a caretaker on another platform for child and pet services. I am also comfortable giving medication to animals. I am attentive to animal needs and communicate with clients quickly. I have two kittens Dexter and Maui and one senior cat,Bob, who has daily medication. I enjoy playing with pets and getting to know their quirky personalities. I always follow client instructions and ask for further clarification if I need more information. I am comfortable with all breeds and multiple animals. I have medical background, but I am currently in school so I am not working in the hospitals. When I had 3 cocker spaniels, I cooked them meat with green beans and rice, so I am capable of preparing meals as well. I can stop by multiple times day or night. Also, available to house sit and will care for multiple pets. Currently not working so I have an open schedule I have two cats in my home, so I cannot board any animals, but I’d be happy to care for your fur baby at your residence

About: I am a caring nurse with a private townhome available for pet sitting. Litter box and sleeping place provided. Feeding your pet their food and play time. I am available for pet boarding 7 days a week. I live in Indian Harbour Beach, near Gleason Park and Conova dog park on the beach. Overnight daily boarding of your pets in my home. I live in IHB with private backyard, but indoor custom dog house. Daily leash walks to Gleason Park available.

“Let me start by saying that in addition to this being my first Rover experience, this was the first time my 11 year old Chloe had ever stayed away from home. While Chloe loves people, she is not dog-friendly, so boarding her has never been an option. Anytime we wanted to go away, we would try to coax family members or friends to come and stay at the house, which is never easy. Desperate for a solution, we came across Rover, and met the two most wonderful people. I am so grateful for Susan and her daughter. First of all, they had no prejudice against my sweet pit-mix, and were more than happy to schedule a meet and greet with us. From the moment I met them, I knew they would be the perfect fit for my anxious girl. Susan is so sweet, calm, and understanding. She listened to all my concerns and fears, and put me (and Chloe) right at ease. Her daughter is just as wonderful. She is so mature, well-behaved, and well-mannered. I had no doubt that Chloe would be in the best hands. We scheduled a one-night trial run, just to see how Chloe would handle being away from home. Everything between the drop-off and pick-up went flawlessly. I really appreciated the communication and pictures throughout the day, which helped alleviate my worries, and made me feel more relaxed knowing that she was being well-taken care of. Chloe was able to settle in with them nicely, and the stay was a success. Susan has been so comforting and reassuring throughout this entire process. I will definitely be booking with her again soon. I am so blessed to have found such wonderful, caring people.”

Melody has lots of anxiety but they were more than willing to make Melody feel as comfortable as she could while she stayed for the weekend. I was very pleased that they took the time to "meet and greet" Melody and Myself prior to her stay. It made me feel more comfortable leaving Melody for the weekend and they were able to observe Melody and anticipate any issues that might be of concern. I would recommend them to watch your fur baby.
