“Let me start by saying that in addition to this being my first Rover experience, this is the first time my 11 year old dog, Chloe, has ever stayed away from home – for any length of time. While Chloe loves people, she is not dog-friendly, so boarding her has never been an option. Previously, anytime we wanted to go away, we tried to coax family members or friends to stay at our house, which is never easy. Desperate for a solution, we came across Rover, and met the two most wonderful people. I am so grateful for Susan and her daughter. First of all, they had no prejudice against my sweet, Pitbull mix, or her high-maintenance quirks. They were more than happy to schedule a meet and greet with us. From the moment I met them, I knew they would be the perfect fit for my anxious girl. Susan is so sweet, calm, and understanding. She listened to all my concerns and put me (and Chloe) right at ease. Her daughter is just as wonderful. She is so mature, well-behaved, and well-mannered. I had no doubt that Chloe would be in the best hands. We scheduled a one-night trial run, just to see how Chloe would handle being away from home. Everything between the drop-off and pick-up went flawlessly. I really appreciated the communication and pictures throughout the day. Susan helped alleviate my worries, and made me feel more relaxed knowing that Chloe was in excellent care. Chloe was able to settle in with them nicely, and the stay was a success. We just completed a second booking for 3 nights, and everything went just as smoothly as the first experience. Susan has been so comforting and reassuring throughout this entire process, and I highly recommend her. I am so blessed to have found such wonderful, caring people to look after my girl.”
“We knew from the minute we walked in that Amigo was in great hands! Jorge and Toto have an adorable son, Santi. Santi just gushed over Amigo and started throwing balls. Their home is fabulous and the fenced in backyard perfect. The neighborhood is very lovely and walkable. This is our first experience with Rover and we are thrilled beyond description! Scott and Angel sent amazing updates (with photos) every single day that I was gone (5 days) and I couldn't have been more comfortable leaving my baby alone with them since they treated her as one of their own in their gorgeous backyard and home the entire stay. I would recommend Scott and Angel to ANYONE and expect a happy and tired pup when it's time to pick them up. I come home on breaks as I live right down the road and my hours aren’t long at all. I am also already hanging out with a foster dog when he needs me. I have a fenced in backyard as well as a screened in porch to take your dog outside to potty in the rain if they get nervous. I have a spacious home for roaming and tile floors perfect for cleaning up any accidents! I have a 8 year old yorkie mix at my home too that will keep your pets company and is great with all size dogs. I also have reliable AC in this florida heat to keep your puppies comfortable. I am able to lift 70 pounds on my own at least, in case of an emergency if I have to handle your dog from another dog.

Presently we have no other commitments and are open to going to your home or bringing your pet to ours depending on what your preference is. Our home has a fenced in yard which is enough space for pups to get out, chase a lizard or catch a ball. We also live near the dog beach which is open before 10 am or after 4pm. At your home we would use your yard for play and or take your pup for a walk . We also have some treat puzzles which keep dogs engaged. As for cats, in our home we have a gate if need for separation. About: Hi, I'm Catalina! I grew up with animals my whole life. Dogs, cats, fish, lizards, and summers on my cousin's ranch with horses, pigs, and goats. These days I've got Snowball, my Maltese and honestly my best friend. I love dogs for being playful and cats for being effortlessly chill. I'm free to go over to anyone's house and I am willing to carry first aid kit and have a vehicle in case of emergencies, like they need to go to an ER. If I am watching your dog at my house and your dog and Hugo don’t get along, Hugo is happy to go over to his grandparents house to get spoiled by them :) In 2022, my 18 year old chihuahua and best friend passed away. He had a long life and during his last few years, I put my RN experience to work and became his dog nurse giving him eye drops, ear drops, and oral medications. I've had roommates with cats and large dogs (Lab, pit bull, corgi) in the past, and I have experience helping to take care of them as well. “Let me start by saying that in addition to this being my first Rover experience, this is the first time my 11 year old dog, Chloe, has ever stayed away from home – for any length of time. While Chloe loves people, she is not dog-friendly, so boarding her has never been an option. Previously, anytime we wanted to go away, we tried to coax family members or friends to stay at our house, which is never easy. Desperate for a solution, we came across Rover, and met the two most wonderful people. I am so grateful for Susan and her daughter. First of all, they had no prejudice against my sweet, Pitbull mix, or her high-maintenance quirks. They were more than happy to schedule a meet and greet with us. From the moment I met them, I knew they would be the perfect fit for my anxious girl. Susan is so sweet, calm, and understanding. She listened to all my concerns and put me (and Chloe) right at ease. Her daughter is just as wonderful. She is so mature, well-behaved, and well-mannered. I had no doubt that Chloe would be in the best hands. We scheduled a one-night trial run, just to see how Chloe would handle being away from home. Everything between the drop-off and pick-up went flawlessly. I really appreciated the communication and pictures throughout the day. Susan helped alleviate my worries, and made me feel more relaxed knowing that Chloe was in excellent care. Chloe was able to settle in with them nicely, and the stay was a success. We just completed a second booking for 3 nights, and everything went just as smoothly as the first experience. Susan has been so comforting and reassuring throughout this entire process, and I highly recommend her. I am so blessed to have found such wonderful, caring people to look after my girl.”
“We knew from the minute we walked in that Amigo was in great hands! Jorge and Toto have an adorable son, Santi. Santi just gushed over Amigo and started throwing balls. Their home is fabulous and the fenced in backyard perfect. The neighborhood is very lovely and walkable. This is our first experience with Rover and we are thrilled beyond description! I currently have a chocolate Labrador Retriever and a Shiba Inu, so I’m comfortable with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’ve also cared for my parents’ dogs, including one with diabetes that requires insulin injections.
