“What would we do without Vikki?! We have nothing but good things to say about her. We have an unpredictable schedule with last minute changes and Vikki has always been accommodating. And our dog, Levi, absolutely loves her! He gets so excited when he sees her and that’s so rare because he doesn’t like many people. We’ve been with Vikki for almost a year and it’s always been a good experience!”

“My wife and I were visiting the Space Coast and Cocoa Beach area. We needed care for our 2 pups so we could experience Kennedy Space Center and found Mia. She had 2 pups (golden doodles as well) of her own, a nice big fenced backyard and worked remotely, so she was home and attentive during their stay. Our boys were exhausted when we got home from their play adventure day! Mia was flexible with our schedule, provided a safe environment for our boys and is a very nice pet care providers/ person. Thank you Mia!”

“Amanda did a wonderful job introducing her three dogs to ours one at time. She took her time and made sure they worked individually and then as a group. I felt really safe leaving our dog in her care. He loves playing with other dogs and she provided him a great place to do this. I will be using her awesome service again.”

“Amelia and Gregg are wonderful! You can tell they love dogs and are great with them. My dog who hates to leave my side loves going over to their house and when he sees me getting ready for work he gets excited because he knows he is going to visit with his new friends.”

“My dog is shy and apprehensive around strangers but Joanna made her feel safe and comfortable right away. She sent pics throughout the day which made me feel more comfortable too. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Joanna again it was a good experience for both my dog and myself ?”

“Colleen is amazing. She gives quality attention to each fur baby in her home and I feel like mine gets extra special care 😁. She sends daily updates and photos/videos of my dog, which I love. I am always reassured that my dog receives lots tender loving care in her home. I highly recommend her!”

“Shelly has a great set up at her home for dogs to freely play including a large screened patio and fenced backyard. Shelly is very accommodating and pleasant. Our dog had an enjoyable stay at doggie daycare over the weekend.”

“Fahriye was amazing with our pup! It was so nice to have a safe place to take her for the day while we hosted a large gathering at our home. Even better was having Fay and her husband bring our dog back home for us! Will definitely use them in the future!”

“April and her husband took great care of Louie. It was his first time staying away from family and he had a great time and was well cared for. We liked the frequent updates and pictures. As an 8 month old puppy with tons of energy we know he can be a handful and we are so thankful that he was well taken care of and happy while we went on a day trip to Epic Universe.”

“Pat is amazing! I was looking for a sitter to not only watch my new fur baby while I was out of town, but also someone who does daycare. When reaching out to Pat she started the process with a meet-and-greet to ensure our fur babies were a good fit, I really appreciated that extra step. I sent my baby to Pat yesterday for daycare for the very first time, and Pat made the experience amazing! She sent me pictures and videos to quell my nerves and sadness for having to leave my baby while I went to work for a 12-hour shift. I felt like she cared for my Miss Lucille like it was her own dog. Speaking of her own dog, Pat has the sweetest fur baby, Gilly. Gilly is a gentle giant who is so patient with Lucille, as Lucille is still learning to play with fur friends. I am 100% satisfied and thrilled to have found Pat as a sitter for my baby, and I already have my next two sittings booked with her.”

“Dezarae was wonderful with our fur baby!! She accommodated us with a last minute request to watch him while we went to Kennedy Space center for the day. Thank you Dezarae we enjoyed meeting you and Pepper!❤️🐾”

“My 7 month old puppy had a great time playing with another Shih tzu at Fiorella’s house. She sent pics during the day so I could feel more at ease. He was well taken care of and we will return in the near future!”

“Holly was great, very friendly, communicative and considerate. I Work crazy irregular hrs and she was flexible with changing schedules on the fly. Home was great and my doggos were always tired at pickup”

“Iliana is very responsive and attentive even when booking last min in the morning. Communicative, sending pics and videos throughout the day of my puppers playing and having a blast”

Katelynn is amazing!! Very kind, knowledgeable and fantastic with communication. She watched my dog for a day care sesh and sent lots of photos making sure I knew my sweet boy was well cared for and happy. I’ve already got a boarding booked and know I can rest easy that he’ll be in great hands.

I highly recommend!! First of all, Peter was super quick to answer my inquiries. It makes it so easy to book. He met us in his driveway when we arrived(we had given him our ETA) and was super nice. He sent pics and videos throughout the day and had Dutch ready when we picked him up.

Ashley was awesome with our puppy. She was the first sitter that I have ever felt instantly at ease with. It’s harder to find someone willing to take a puppy…this showed me she was ok with extra work that can sometimes be involved. That’s always a positive with any pet. She was super personable and high energy. Our puppy Rover was happy and comfortable when I picked him up. It’s always a bonus to find an immaculately clean home and yard. I would highly recommend Ashley. I believe she will alleviate any concerns you might have in leaving your pet. Thank you Ashley

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bellwood commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
