All the fur babies and others too!
I have had direct care of dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, snakes, iguanas, and more. I am most familiar with dogs and have taken care of puppies in training and more recently my own senior dogs and dealing with end-of-life care. I miss my babies terribly but am not ready to get another dog so in the meantime I enjoy borrowing and loving on other peoples' babies!

I work 12 hr night shifts but still have a lot of weekends off so please reach out to ask about specific availability for your dates!

Safety, trust & environment
My yard is not completely fenced so I have a tie down in the backyard. If your dog is unfamiliar or scared of the tie down, I can use a leash instead. I do have two birds in the home that are caged and can be separated if needed. Other than that, pets get to have to run of the place including on the couch and bed if they so prefer. Depending on the comfort of the pet, I have a large crate available for if I need to step out or a spare bedroom set up to be calm and comfortable.

A typical day
If your dog likes the beach, we may make a beach visit if they stay over a weekend! Otherwise, the house is cool and comfortable on warm days and when it cools off the neighborhood is nice and quiet and a great place to walk around.
